“Back from a lovely weekx Our fist time in Wales as a family, and what a treat!”

This beautiful was amazing to stay in, lovely & clean & had everything we needed. Brilliant quiet spot, but close enough to drive to the town, beach, Ceredigion, & upper wales. Near to plenty of beautiful nature reserves along the way which were perfect for the dogs. Would definitely revisit, & highly recommend to friends & family.

“We had a fantastic stay at Y Stabal and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.”

The location was perfect, with so many beautiful places to explore nearby, including Devil’s Bridge and plenty of lovely walks. After a day of exploring, it was wonderful to come back, relax in the hot tub and watch the sunset – the perfect way to end the day. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our dog. I’d just mention that if you have a very small dog, they may be able to squeeze through into the adjoining fields, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them. One of our favourite parts of the stay was waking up each morning to see the cows right outside the garden. They were so entertaining to watch and really added to the countryside experience! There’s another holiday cottage nearby that can be booked if you’re travelling as a larger group. If you’re staying separately, the properties are thoughtfully positioned at different angles, so they still feel very private. The kitchen was the best equipped we’ve ever had in a holiday cottage it had absolutely everything we needed. Our son was also delighted with the excellent Wi-Fi and TV, which kept him happy after busy days out. Tracy our host was on hand and responsive if needed and was lovely. A huge thank you for the lovely welcome gifts too such a thoughtful touch. We had a fabulous stay and would love to return in the future!

“Y Stabal is a wonderful property in a stunning location.”

The owners were very responsive and friendly, and provided some welcoming gifts which were very much appreciated. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy, and was very nicely renovated. “We had an absolutely fab stay at Y Stabal.”

The owners have done a brilliant job crafting a cow shed into a very comfortable cottage. The design, fixtures and fittings are of a high quality and it's all very tastefully done. The location was heavenly. We also appreciated the welcome gifts and the support from the owners. An oversight on our part meant we didn't write in the visitor's book and just hope they get to see this review! Would highly recommend it.

The only improvement I would recommend is somewhere to hang wet swim stuff and towels after using the hot tub.

“We hit the jackpot with this booking.”

Just what we wanted (and needed) - remote, quiet, no light pollution and the BEST accommodation! Tracy & family have done themselves proud, were excellent at communication and made us feel so welcome. The gifts on arrival were a lovely touch. One of the best equipped kitchens we've ever had for a holiday cottage. Comfy sofas, comfy beds, great shower (would be accessible if you had mobility issues as it is large & downstairs next to the bedroom) and cosy underfloor heating! Hope we will be able to visit again and stargaze from the immaculately clean hottub again!

Well equipped, homely, beautiful views, high end spec. Great location, located just 3 miles outside of Aberystwyth. Plenty to do and see within a short drive. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
