Boasting wooden beams, an impressive woodburning stove sitting within the inglenook and a quaint array of furniture, it makes a glorious spot to spend your evenings.

Move through into the equally elegant kitchen/diner, with more exposed beams and slate flooring, this regal setting is perfect for enjoying all your homemade meals, the large electric range cooker sure to help you whip up a feast in no time, with plenty of preparation space on the wooden worktops too.

Take the splendid solid oak staircase up to the first floor to be met by the three beautifully-presented bedrooms benefiting from being served by the family bathroom.

Each room on the first floor retains wooden beams, sloping ceilings and fantastic skylights which let in an abundance of natural light, creating the perfect setting to unwind each evening.

The bedrooms consist of a superb master double bedroom, boasting its own en-suite shower room which even has underfloor heating, as well as a decked balcony with furniture letting you soak in the countryside views, this room is a true wonder to be had.

The front patio area is shared by the owner and can be used in moderation, making a lovely spot to sit before venturing across the public footpath resting in the owner's field, to discover the beauty of the surrounding area.

The local village of Llantilio Pertholey is a fantastic choice for those seeking a remote base, with nearby Mardy offering all the amenities you could need for a self-catered stay with the addition of a traditional fish and chip shop, while a wider selection can be found within the market town of Abergavenny, known as 'The Gateway to Wales', here you can find the historical wonder of its museum set within a former hunting lodge in the grounds of a ruined Norman fortress, as well as charming regular markets where you can pick up local produce for a special meal at the cottage, and be sure to attend the annual Abergavenny Food Festival for even more sumptuous treats!
