“The beds were very comfortable, as were the sofas in the living room.”

Nice to have an upright chair in each room, and space for 8 people to sit together in the living room. Nice to have an upright chair in each room, and space for 8 people to sit together in the living room. Very well equipped kitchen, great for self catering, though it took us a few minutes to find the cutlery drawers! The house was a bit warm for us, so we turned the thermostat down, and all the radiators down as well. The only issue with the kitchen being so well equipped was there was not much space to put our food. The welcome basket was generous. The showers were quite powerful, to the extent that the one on the top floor would end up getting a lot of the floor wet, as spray bounced past the screen. the low ceilings and beams, deep windowsills and uneven walls give the cottage a cosy feel. The wifi worked through the whole cottage, with well placed boosters. A recycling bin in the kitchen would be helpful.
