A superb lodge offering a warm and welcoming aura, Lodge 6 can be found settled on the delight of the Oakwood Lodge Park in Wales.

Sitting on the outskirts of Rhayader, this lodge is perfectly positioned for a countryside escape, ideally suited to a family of four in pursuit of an action-packed holiday.

Inside, the lodge boasts an open-plan living space, so you can find everything you need for a self-catered stay in one place.

Although modest, the kitchen hosts a good range of appliances to assist in preparing a family-favourite meal, with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge, alongside a dining table in the room where you can enjoy your delicious meal and quality time together.

Spend your evenings unwinding in the sitting area in front of the television, or choose to soak up your surroundings from your own private hot tub on the decking area for a truly tranquil evening.

At the end of the day, take a refreshing shower before retreating to one of the two bedrooms comprised of a bright and airy double and a twin perfect for the little ones, to rest and rejuvenate ahead of your next adventure.

Rhayader is a small Welsh market town with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, amenities and unique little boutiques, including local antiques. An added bonus of a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and a weekly livestock market. The Red Kite Feeding Station, on the outskirts of the town is a great attraction not to be missed. Rhayader is the first town on the River Wye and is home to the spectacular dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. The Elan Valley offers a variety of walks and cycle trails (cycle hire is available in Rhayader), as well as a visitor’s centre with café and children's play area. This area is known as the Wildlife Centre of Wales, with its amazing variety of nature reserves open for visitors to enjoy. There is also pony trekking available in the area. Visit Builth Wells, where the Spring Festival, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair are all held annually. Alternatively, a scenic drive will take you to the Welsh coast 34 miles away.
