    “First, a very big thank you to Phil for his welcome and for help with unloading the car, and for re-loading on our departure in wind and rain.”

    Much appreciated! This is our 4th time at Trysor y Mor, so we knew what to expect, but sadly, probably the last as we are both in our 80s, and the stairs and lack of downstairs toilet are proving too much. It’s a lovely situation in Borth, and recommended for families. We’ve enjoyed many sunsets from the balcony! M and A

Outside is a rear, raised decked garden with furniture boasting countryside views, and from the sitting room is a balcony with wonderful, far-reaching sights across the sea.

Aberystwyth 5 miles; Machynlleth 14.5 miles.

Borth is a village seaside resort set on a stretch of a spectacular coastal path, overlooking Cardigan Bay. At low tide there are 3 miles of sands stretching to Ynyslas Beach, which boasts vast sand dunes and the home of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve. Borth offers shops, pubs, a golf course, a restaurant and a cinema - all great fun for the family whatever the weather. This whole coastline is renowned for its watersports especially wind, sand and ordinary surfing, as well as wonderful coastal walks where you can enjoy spotting sea birds and seals. Nearby Snowdonia provides plentiful opportunities for even more energetic pursuits.
