Surrounded by extensive grounds, with walks and cycle rides from your doorstep, as well as boasting exclusive use of an indoor heated swimming pool and a fantastic outdoor hot tub, this superb cottage is the perfect destination for large groups of friends and family to enjoy a relaxing break together.

From the moment you step into this large, comfortably-furnished and luxurious home, you will start to feel relaxed.

The family-friendly accommodation has everything needed for the perfect holiday with its impressive kitchen which has an American-style fridge/freezer.

There truly is something for everyone, with two attractive sitting rooms to sit back and relax in after enjoying an enthusiastic game of rounders or football in the field behind the house.

There is also a games room and an indoor heated swimming pool, together with a hot tub in the garden.

There are six beautifully-presented and spacious bedrooms, three with en-suite shower rooms and a stunning family bathroom.

Maybe a few lengths of the lovely inviting pool will invigorate you each morning before setting off to explore the local area, or you could enjoy a day simply unwinding in the soothing bubbles of the hot tub and sunbathing on the patio.

The woodland garden provides plenty of shade and opportunity for peace and quiet to catch up on your reading, whilst the children make full use of the extensive play area behind the house with plenty to keep them entertained.

If you can manage to drag yourself away from the pleasures of this beautiful cottage, then you will find much to delight in the local area, with fantastic scenery, excellent walking, cycling and birdwatching.

A visit to Wales’s highest waterfall, Pistyll Rhaeadr and a walk across the Berwyn Mountains, with its stunning scenery, is a must.

Alternatively, a visit to the fabulous reservoir of Lake Vyrnwy, just 10 miles away, with glorious woodland walks and boat rides is also tempting.

Why not make a day of it and explore nearby bustling Welshpool with its railway museum, steam railway and canal sidewalks as well as the renowned Powis Castle and gardens?

You can take in the sights of Snowdonia National Park or travel into Shropshire and discover the unspoilt Shropshire Hills and the towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

This superb cottage, with its spacious and luxurious accommodation, extensive grounds, heated swimming pool and large hot tub is the perfect destination for a large group of friends and family to enjoy all year round.

LLANGADFAN

Lake Vyrnwy 9 miles.

The small, traditional village of Llangadfan in Powys is an excellent central location for exploring all of Mid Wales and beyond into Snowdonia and Shropshire. Llangadfan boasts Glyndwrs Way footpaths and the Foel Ramble, a 4 mile walk overlooking the hills of Montgomeryshire and also it is close to the Cambrian and Berwyn mountain ranges where there is wonderful scenery in all directions. The village also has a shop/vintage tea room, and the Cann Office Hotel has a bar, restaurant and gardens and was formerly Cae ’n Fos, a medieval fortified camp on a bend on the River Banwy. There is lovely walking and horse riding in the nearby Dyfnant Forest, a remote 6000 acre forest on high ground which descends spectacularly down towards Lake Vyrnwy. The lake, with an 11 mile circumference, is a magnificent beauty spot which is famous throughout the UK for its scenic walks, cycle trails, and bird watching. The area is renowned for its green hills and mountains, castles such as medieval Powis Castle and gardens (National Trust), museums and the Montgomery Canal. Europe's leading eco-centre is situated at Machynlleth, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) aims to "inspire, inform and enable people" to live more sustainably. This is a lovely part of Wales with something for everyone.
