“A beautiful place in an idyllic area with outstanding views.”
All in all generally good but a few tweaks would make it even better.
More care and attention needed on the beams and rafters, very dusty and cobwebs in some places.
On your itinerary it states there is wood fired barbecue but on arriving that was not the case, the owner did supply a small one which wasn’t really sufficient for our needs, plus there were not barbecue utensils to use either.

It felt very regimented with all the do and don’t signs around the building, made us scared of making a mistake. We were a party of seven adults and we were all put off by this. I think a notice on their page could make this better as that put us off straight away.
Very good for watching the wildlife, especially the Buzzards and Red Kites.
So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Yr Adfa overall and thank you for the feedback. We will speak to the cleaners to check on the oak beams. Regarding the BBQ, we had an issue with the old one and an improved replacement has been ordered.
Unfortunately we have had to put up notices about recycling and waste disposal as the Council have very strict rules on this, and will not take unsorted waste/recycling, resulting in extra costs and time spent having to re-sort waste before it can be collected.
We are always happy for guests to contact us if there are any concerns about any aspect of the property and will do our best to resolve them during a stay, when we are made aware of them.
