2 Siluria Cottage

This is a supremely comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings .

It is warm and cosy and very well looked after. The owners are welcoming and helpful. We have enjoyed two stays there and hope to visit again

We have had a lovely holiday here.

Waking up to cows in the field next to the property is especially lovely and the children loved seeing them - as did I. The property is well maintained and certainly feels like a home from home. If you're looking for a quiet holiday with a lovely view this is definitely a place to visit

2 Siluria has a lovely peaceful setting with long views over fields and distant hills.

The cottage was spotless and comfortable and we would like to return one day.

We had a lovely relaxing short break in this beautiful part of Wales .

The cottage is well equipped and the view from the garden is gorgeous. We would happily book this place again.

Lovely place, lovely house, so calm and peaceful, just the sound of birds and sheep, very very relaxing, for a complete chilled out week highly recommended.

This property has a very special feel about it.

The location is fantastic with extensive views over the fields and out towards Old Radnor village and Hergest Ridge. The outdoor space with lots of good quality furniture and a BBQ was perfect for us to relax after walking and cycling trips in the surrounding countryside. The property itself is well equipped and had everything that we needed to ensure a comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful location.

Beautiful, cosy cottage in stunning surroundings.

We loved watching the variety of birds from the window and waking up to the stunning countryside views. Peaceful and relaxing location.

Beautiful cottage, stunning garden and views and a grear location.

Nothing could have improved our stay except maybe more sunshine to enjoy the garden more. Thank you.

Comfy cottage set in peaceful surrounding.

Large garden area with seating to relax in. Countryside walks from the doorstep, bike or car needed to explore further afield.

The cottage was perfect for us , clean comfortable and cosy with outstanding views across the hills .

This was a lovely comfortable cottage.

We booked for a week over Christmas. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. We found the property comfortable and cozy especially sat in front of the log burner. The kitchen is well equipped and we are able to cook a full Christmas lunch with ease. The owners checked in with us to ensure we had every thing we needed and topped up the fire wood which kept us toasty. We also loved that the property was decorated with a Christmas tree. Over all we had an amazing time in the cottage and took away some lovely memories. We would also love to come back in summer to make use of the large garden with scenic views in all directions.

Very comfortable and cosy.

In a great location.

Siluria Cottage is in a lovely rural location - very quiet and relaxing.

An easy cottage to live in. Plenty of parking space close to the front door for easy loading and unloading. A well equipped kitchen and efficient heating system. This was our fourth visit and we’re already booked for next year.

Lovely views and great cottage, very quiet.

Everyone friendly and helpful, recommend New Radnor village shop for goodies. Really enjoyed our stay. Just needed a few more kitchen utensils!

We had a lovely time here.

Everything you need and more. Great outdoor space for the kids to run around and grown ups to relax.

A very quiet home from home.

Owner is just next door if needed. Good, well maintained property, 3 decent bedrooms, lovely garden, quiet and peaceful.

We had a fantastic few days at this property.

The location is superb, surrounded by fields and countryside, so peaceful; a great place to get away from it all. The cottage was extremely well-appointed, beautifully clean and well-equipped. A great base for exploring the Elan Valley and Rhayader; the kite feeding at Gigrin Farm is a must.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, despite the weather.

It's down a very quiet and peaceful lane and the views all around are wonderful. The rooms are a good size and it's well equipped with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this property.

all three of us absolutely loved the cottage, didnt want to leave and all agreed it is the best place we have ever stayed and we have stayed in some really nice places.

The cottage is perfect for the area as well,so many lovely places to visit, have seen some wonderful gardens and of course the weather was glorious, All in all , perfect and many thanks.

The cottage was superb in every way and made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

The facilities were well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed the use of the garden with wonderful views and peace and quiet, apart from the bird song! Such a lovely location I'm sure we will return.

Our second holiday in this lovely cottage tucked away in beautiful countryside.

The property has good sized rooms and is well appointed with comfortable furniture. The heating system works well and everything is in excellent order. Of all the holiday let’s we’ve visited this one is our favourite.

Great property, well maintained, spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a wonderful week's stay, in beautiful, quiet peaceful surroundings.

Would highly recommend.

This cottage has everything for a quiet break.

All the comforts of home , wonderful scenery and well situated for all the Mid Wales attractions. The owners Lynne & Adrian could not do enough for us and made our stay very enjoyable. We will be back.

Excellent property and very reasonable.

Beautiful area and views from the house. Will definitely come again. Often. Only lacked a cheese grater!

Fabulous

Very Cosy Cottage with beautiful surroundings.

Extremely peaceful location. Local walks and scenery are outstanding. The owners recommended the Hergest Ridge walk - wonderful views even in Winter.

Lovely cottage in beautiful quiet countryside yet within easy reach of local attractions.

The sun room was an added bonus, the garden was nicely kept and there was a generous space for parking. Inside the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and we have already booked it again next year.

2 Siluria Cottage was the perfect place to stay.

We were a group of 5 adults yet the cottage still felt spacious and the garden was beautiful. The hosts are very friendly and kindly left milk, biscuits, tea and coffee for our stay. The area has lots of nice walks and we enjoyed concerts in the Presteigne Festival nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely week at 2 Siluria Cottage.

The property was clean, very well-equipped and easy to find. The location is beautiful - gorgeous views on every side. All shops, restaurants etc. are a drive away, however these will take you through some stunning countryside so it's a pleasure to drive in the area. Book early if you want to go to the Harp Inn for Sunday lunch. We were too late, but got a table at The Radnorshire Arms in Beguildy - well worth the trip! We'd definitely recommend 2 Siluria Cottage.

This is a lovely property, comfortable and well looked after.

The hosts Lynne and Adrian were on hand if we needed them but never interfered with anything. Gorgeous location, peaceful with lovely views. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. It had everything we needed. Somewhere secure to lock our bikes was brilliant. Great welcome pack after a long journey. Soap, washing up liquid, washing tabs, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper all provided. Sitting in the little conservatory watching the cows, birds and view was my idea of heaven. Lovely secluded garden with plenty off seating as well. This place was a great little find and we thoroughly enjoyed it. No complaints from us and would highly recommend.

Five friends enjoyed this cottage which is beautifully filled with all the amenities that is required for your stay, and the host Lynne had left us a welcome package

will certainly visit again .

. that say's it all

Fantastic as always thanks.

.be back next year

We had a fantastic short stay at Siluria Cottage.

It’s in an attractive remote location. We explored the local countryside, shopped at Hay on Wye and spent evenings by the fire in the cosy living room.

The Cottage was beautifully clean, beautifully warm and very comfortable.

We were left plenty of kindling and logs for the burner some lovely biscuits, tea, coffee & milk which was very welcome and plenty of towels for our stay. The bed was super comfy and with a view all around us to die for it was truly a lovely place to stay. Our delightful neighbour fed the birds daily so we were able to share their visits with her. The walking in and around the area was stunning and the roads were incredibly quiet. We would dearly love to return - thank you!

Unfortunately we had to cut short our holiday with medical issues but found the cottage was great even for a short break, the owner was very helpful and we appreciated the goodies on arrival , we did find the bed a bit to hard and sofas a bit too soft but that is just comparing to our own which is not the owners fault as we have found over the years of holidays in self catering.

Very thoughtful owner left a few well chosen supplies for us.

Very prompt communication too. Lovely cottage, very cosy, especially with wood burning stove. Good facilities, clean and comfortable. Excellent area for walking and exploring. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a quiet area of the Welsh hills.

Amazing views from the house and garden and everything you could need in the cottage.

Had an absolutely beautiful 3 day stay this weekend.

Really didn't want it to end. Beautiful picturesque area, reall cosy cottage with fantastic views and great facilities. Really relaxing garden area. Lovely hosts. Will definitely be returning here at some point. Thank you.

We had such a lovely time at this beautiful and well equipped cottage.

It's in such a tranquil spot and yet still conveniently located for places to visit and enjoy. It's comfortable with everything we needed. The hours flew by while we relaxed on the comfy sofas watching the nature nearby. Thank you, we will return.

We spent a lovely week at Siluria.

Lynne was a text away but left us to our own devices. Great views over to Hergest Ridge punctuated by Red Kites. Plenty of logs for the woodburner. Had a lovely meal in the Harp in Old Radnor. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice comfortable cottage met all our expectations, bed was a little uncomfortable but not to bad

A very cosy and comfortable, holiday cottage for a country retreat.

Superbly quiet and surprisingly heat retaining for an old cottage. A thoughtful gift of coffees, tea, milk and bickies came in very useful. Thank you.

Fantastic cottage,so well equipped .

.very clean and high quality decorating throughout ..garden and views excellent.. very quiet spot and close to kington Town which we realy liked too for shops and eating out. Will return next year

Lovely cottage in a quiet setting.

The house is comfortable and warm. Had a fabulous time staying in Powys. Thank you Lynne for a lovely stay at your beautiful cottage.

Lovely quiet location.

Hosts were nearby if anything was needed but didn't bother us. The place was decorated nicely and well maintained. It was so lovely sitting in the 'garden room' to eat breakfast and dinner.

The accommodation was great, super location, great walks.

It kept us well entertained and ensured we well all well rested.

Excellent cottage, super clean when we arrived, containing everything we needed for a lovely holiday.

Owners live nearby and were really friendly and helpful with advice on local area. Everything we wanted for a quiet week away, secure garden for the children and gated lane so they were safe going up and down on their scooters. Lots of walks near by and friendly herd of cows as our neighbors! Would highly recommend and can't wait to return.

The cottage was easily found by SatNav (many of the local roads are single track), and was warm and welcoming on arrival.

Both heating and wood burner worked well. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh. I had no phone signal, but that's likely to be provider dependent. There are no street lights and it's quiet-which we love. The neighbour feeds the birds, so we were lucky enough to see woodpeckers at close range. WiFi was excellent (important for the WiFi dependent offspring). Bathroom was of good size, warm (it had both a heated towel rail and radiator), and the shower was excellent. We used dishwasher and washing machine: both of which worked extremely well (though we couldn't find instructions in the cottage-luckily there was WiFi). You should be aware that the kick board hadn't been cut out to allow the dishwasher door to open easily, so the door does rise up and over it-making it feel as if you've broken it-but it is fine. There was a good supply of cutlery and crockery (often lacking on other cottages, which often only give you one of each item). We like cooking so found kitchen pans & utensils adequate but not extensive, and did wonder if they'd be sufficient for 5 like minded-adults (we were a party of 3 adults). Under counter fridge was of good size (with a small freezer at the top-useful for ice cubes and a bag or two of frozen goodies). Neighbours friendly but not intrusive. Excellent walks within 10-20 minutes drive, and only half hour to Elan Valley. Our only disappointment was that we didn't find the games which had been mentioned in the description (luckily we'd taken our own) and that we had to come home.

Staying at 2 Siluria feels like coming home.

As we travel from Australia it is amazing to be met with such a comfortable cottage, and great hosts who are full of information and ready to help us settle in. The location is serene, and intoxicating. Not too far from the necessities but perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet. I will always recommend 2 Siluria to everyone.

The sheer amount of promotional emails I've received from you since booking this holiday would make me think twice about using you again.

The cottage exceeded expectations, being very clean and well presented.

All the amenities you would expect are provided, including a nice care package (including wine!) left by the owner, which was a very nice touch. The cottage is also very well situated, with great walking opportunities on the door step / in the local area with various levels of challenge to suite the individual. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would consider booking again in the future.

beautiful cottage, very comfortable in beautiful peaceful location.

owners were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all

It was just what we needed to relax and enjoy our self's away from busy lifestyle.

We would definitely recommend you to are friends and family
