A delightful cottage, beautifully renovated with modern interior and a fabulous feeling of light and space, tucked on the edge of the owners farm and surrounded by stunning valley scenery.

The fabulous views and welcoming cosy interior make an ideal place for families and small groups to explore the undulating Welsh countryside, offering the perfect venue to relax in.

Each room opens off the spacious hallway with a comfortable lounge, where you can snuggle down in front of the TV, a separate well equipped kitchen with dining area leading onto a gem of a conservatory, relax and enjoy the changing views in all weathers, perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of something cool.

There is a stylish family bathroom with a shower over.

The master double room benefits from countryside views, perfect to watch the world go by with a cup of tea and is adjacent to the equally cosy twin room.

Step outside to a myriad of views from all angles, sit and enjoy them on the patio, perhaps toast a few marshmallows on the fire pit or relax in the enticing hot tub.

Take a trip to the local town of Rhayader, 4 miles away, with a selection of cafes and restaurants, a few miles further on is the imposing Elan Valley, with its majestic dams and reservoirs or perhaps head to the market town of Builth Wells, 17 miles, home to the Royal Welsh Showground.

About the location

ST HARMON

Rhayader 3.5 miles.

The small village of St. Harmon is located on the River Marteg in the county of Powys, amidst the beautiful countryside surrounding Rhayader. Rhayader is a bustling market town with an abundance of small unusual shops, many eating establishments and pubs, a leisure complex, and for outdoors enthusiasts, cycle hire is available in the town. There is a wonderful feeding station for Red Kites near Rhayader, where they can be observed quite closely. For a more strenuous but most enjoyable day, try pony trekking through the area. Discover the fabulous Elan Valley Lakes, the Gilfach Nature Reserve and the excellent mountain biking in the Hafren Forest, which are all close. Visit Builth Wells, where the Royal Welsh Show is held annually, and where you will find a wide variety of shops, tea rooms and pubs, as well as many craft shows and exhibitions throughout the year.
