“Possibly the best property we’ve ever stayed in.”

We arrived in a forecasted storm, so Patrick & Susan kindly offered an earlier check-in so we arrived before it was dark. We were a family group of 10, and the ground floor bedroom & en-suite was perfect for elderly grandparents. Plenty of space for everyone and excellently equipped kitchen, everything we needed for full English, and Sunday roast. Very generous welcome hamper, and gorgeous toiletries in the bathrooms. The hot tub was an added bonus, and many chilly evenings were enjoyed in ...

I make it a priority each year to book a family getaway, and your property proved to be the perfect choice. The enclosed garden and play area were ideally suited for the children and our dog, offering both space and peace of mind. The hot tub was generously sized and much enjoyed, while the property itself was presented immaculately throughout. The welcome pack was a thoughtful and very much appreciated addition. The location was excellent – a tranquil countryside setting, yet within easy reach of the coast and local amenities. It offered the ideal balance of relaxation and convenience. I would have no hesitation in booking Rhandir Hen again and highly recommend it to others seeking a family-friendly retreat!

“Rhandir Hen was the perfect place for us to meet up with friends for a long weekend.”

The house was modern finished to a high standard, well equipped, and clean with plenty of space for 7 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs! The hot tub and play area were perfect to keep all ages entertained. The welcome goodies also went down a treat. Highly recommended!

“This property was amazing and provided lots of happy memories that we will remember for a lifetime!”

Everything in the property had been finished to a high specification. We enjoyed being open plan downstairs so that we could all be together whether relaxing or cooking in the kitchen. Having so many bathrooms made life so much easier as there were never any queues! The hot tub, play area and BBQ were very popular and the scenery was beautiful.

“Amazing house with such a warm welcome from the owners.”

The house was immaculate with everything we could possibly need. Lots of space for people to do their own thing but plenty of sofas for us all to get together and spend time as a group. Beautiful views to enjoy from the hot tub, which is maintained daily. The owners were so helpful and welcoming, and with everything finished to such a high standard, it was a perfect break. Highly recommended!

“We had an amazing week at Rhandir Hen catching up with family.”

The house is absolutely stunning, very clean and exceeded our expectations. The photo's online make it look beautiful but it's even better in real life. It has everything you need and more for your holiday. The rooms are very spaciousand the open plan living space was great for cooking and socialising with everyone. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to spend a lot of time outdoors as well. The garden is enclosed so it was great for the dogs who loved exploring the outdoor space. Patrick and Susan left us an amazing welcome pack full of goodies for breakfast and treats which we all enjoyed. Patrick also popped in daily to check the hot tub and gave us tips on where to visit in the local area which we found really helpful. Thanks again Patrick and Susan for an amazing week in your amazing property, we would love to return again.

About the location

ABERYSTWYTH

Borth 7 miles; Aberaeron 16 miles.

The village of Llangwyryfon is situated in the River Wyre valley in the centre of Ceredigion, near Aberystwyth. The local church in Llangwyryfon is dedicated to St Ursula and there is also a chapel. It lies on the B4576 and is close to the popular area of Aberystwyth, which offers visitors a variety of restaurants, pubs, shops, museums, tea rooms and a cinema. The Welsh coastline is also nearby and has many lovely, sandy beaches to visit. The Ystwyth Trail is a 20 mile footpath and cycle route that is alongside a river and a pretty woodland area and links Tregaron and Aberystwyth. It is also well-worth taking a trip from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge on the Vale of Rheidol stream railway; a lovely way to see the falls.
