My initial thoughts on the location were regarding the proximity to the main road and petrol station, as this is not documented in the description, and I had concerns about excessive traffic noise. However, there was very little outside noise, especially at night, as the road was fairly quiet and the petrol station closed at midnight. Truckers do park on the slip road at night; however, this was not a problem for us, and you rarely heard them arrive or leave, even with a noise-reactive dog.

The map directions are not correct and send you to a road further along on the left, so the directions could do with being updated, as I had to ask a local for directions.
The flat was very clean and tidy on arrival, with only a few minor concerns. The freezer compartment of the fridge had a broken latch, so I had to fashion a stopper to keep it shut and the food frozen. Secondly, there were some pitta breads in the higher cupboard with an expiry date of May 2026, which I placed in the bin.
If a chopping board could be added to the kitchen, along with some kitchen foil, that would be a bonus. The batteries in the emergency torch also need replacing, as it did not work.
I would recommend this property to others, primarily due to its proximity to Elan Valley and the surrounding areas, but also because it was comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom, despite looking dated, provided excellent water pressure in the shower.
