“We had a fantastic week away and staying at Porth Farm was the perfect place.”

When taking our 2 Autistic Sons on holiday we need a base that has all the comforts of home & this place definitely ticked all the boxes. Especially having the Tv & Wi-fi. On arrival we greeted by the 2 Farm Dogs which was just lovely and upon entering the cottage we were pleasantly surprised to find some Welsh cakes and a bottle of Organic Milk waiting for us. Absolutely fantastic. 10 out 10 and we will definitely be coming back next year.

This charming abode, with countryside views reaching down towards the meandering River Severn, offers a superb base for families, friends and couples alike.

You will look forward to returning to this contemporary-style accommodation at the end of each adventure in the surrounding area.

Step straight into the open-plan living room through large sliding doors, to find an eye-catching layout, with modern furnishings and uplifting décor to make you feel right at home.

The exposed oak beams and matching colour schemes allow you to make the most of this sociable space.

Unwind into the evening in the lounge area and tune into the TV, when the sun is out you can slide open the doors to let the pleasant outdoors in.

Cook up a delicious meal in the kitchen and gather around the modern dining table to discuss plans for the day ahead.

The ground floor bedroom boasts a double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers, as well as bedside tables and lamps for unwinding with a book at the end of the evening.

You can wake to a refreshing shower under the rainfall shower head in the en-suite each morning, before making yourself that first coffee of the day.

Climb the stairs to the sunny, split-level landing with high ceiling and exposed beams adding further to the character of the cottage, which flows into the bedrooms and bathrooms for a seamless finish throughout.

First is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and coordinating furniture, as well as a travel cot for those travelling with infants.

The twin room has built-in wardrobes, whilst the family bathroom is well-appointed for the whole family.

Though the village of Caersws has some handy amenities, you are also an easy drive away from Newtown with a host of shops, bars and restaurants to entertain you for the evening.

Further afield is the Shropshire Hills AONB, Snowdonia National Park and the beautiful sweep of Cardigan Bay, with plenty of opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts.

Enjoy a venturesome holiday in Wales.
