“Penlone is perfectly situated if you are looking for peace but near a town.”

The cottage is comfortable and has more or less everything you would need for your stay. The bed and sofas are both comfortable and the cleanliness of the cottage cannot be faulted. The only improvements I could think of is an airer or more clothes hooks to dry wet gear, I was lucky and only had one wet day, but I could see drying walking gear would be challenging if I had not been so fortunate. The road down to the cottage is narrow but has adequate passing places should you meet another ...

The only improvements I could think of is an airer or more clothes hooks to dry wet gear, I was lucky and only had one wet day, but I could see drying walking gear would be challenging if I had not been so fortunate. The road down to the cottage is narrow but has adequate passing places should you meet another car, I did not however go the route suggested by the owner and was glad I hadn’t as this is much narrower and very overgrown , having a new car I would have been very concerned about my cars paintwork as the hedges and verge has a lot of briars and hedge/tree branches. But if you have a car that would cope with these then it is the shorter , and quieter option. I found parking my car in the drive easy . All in all a great stay, and I would like to return one day.
