    “What a beautiful shepherd's hut, with good quality furnishings and cooking facilities and utensils.”

    The bed was ultra comfy and warm. It was comfortably warm and cosy in the hut, despite the dreadful weather outside. The owners were kind ensuring we had enough food and wine as were unable to venture out one day due to the dreadful weather. Thank you Wendy and Richard. We look forward returning again in the summer..

Explore into Bishop’s Castle where you will be greeted by historical wonder in the form of listed timber framed buildings, quaint shops and a “House on Crutches'' or head over the border into Wales and see the large Norman ruins of Montgomery Castle, the National Trust’s Powis Castle and Garden and the wonderful Welshpool & Llanfair Railway.
