Set within the hills and valleys of the Shropshire countryside, set apart from the owner’s working farm is Stiperstones Pod, a contemporary holiday home for two, providing a romantically snug spot in the country.

Found in White Grit near to the village of Chirbury, you are perfectly situated to enjoy scenic walks from your doorstep and are within easy reach of the Shropshire Hills AONB.

Enter your little home through the curved fairy-style door into the open-plan living space; a Smart TV is mounted on the wall opposite the inviting sofa for your entertainment on a quiet night in, while a small dining area sits to one side for a romantic meal for two.

Cook up something special in the small kitchen area which includes an induction hob and a microwave, with a fridge as well.

Drift off in the double bed which is tucked into the far corner where you can cosy up with your loved one, with electric central heating to keep you warm in the colder months.

Finally completing the pod is the en-suite bathroom containing a corner shower with a basin and a WC, so you have all you need.

Best of all, within your own enclosed garden area is a hot tub, so you can star gaze while you relax in the bubbles.

Enjoying vast views of the beautiful countryside within the Shropshire Hills AONB, you can find this delightful set of quirky and unique pods, providing fantastic accommodation for exploring the gorgeous surroundings. Take a break from a fast-paced life into the country with your loved ones and make these cute and compact pods your temporary homes, having one pod for each couple, you can come together to spend the days roaming the hills, and then retreat to your own space when night falls. Each pod has a nearly identical layout accessed via a fairy-style curved door, including a sitting area with a Smart TV, a modest kitchen space with all the essential appliances along with an intimate dining area, along with excellent WiFi so you can stay connected. To the rear of the pod is the snug double bed tucked in the corner, and a separate shower room to freshen up in. Outside each of the pods is a luxurious hot tub, a welcome sight of warm bubbles after a day of walking to relax you into your evening. The immediate area of the dwelling makes for a tranquil base, with plenty of opportunities for avid walkers; in reach of Mitchell’s Fold Stone Circle across the fields, you can find adventure on your doorstep. For all of your local amenities, the nearby village of Chirbury offers a modest selection of shops and eateries, or for even more excitement, venture into Bishop’s Castle where you will be greeted by historical wonder in the form of listed timber framed buildings, quaint shops and a “House on Crutches”. Walkers can delight in venturing along the Offa’s Dyke Path for some wonderful walking along the Welsh/English border, while heading over the border and into Wales can bring you to the large Norman ruins of Montgomery Castle, the National Trust’s Powis Castle and Garden and the wonderful Welshpool & Llanfair Railway. Chirbury is a village in west Shropshire, England situated in the Vale of Montgomery, close to the Wales–England border. In the village is a village hall, a large public house called The Herbert Arms, and a post office, which is also the village shop. Montgomery is a short drive away and is popular with tourists. The town has a delightful selection of individual shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants, including the Michelin star restaurant, The Checkers, a fabulous way to make your holiday truly special. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle, an excellent place for a day or night out with its excellent pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year. A charming destination for a holiday.
