The property

Ty Felin is a characterful, wheelchair-friendly barn conversion, set near Parrog Beach in the charming town of Newport.

Located on a small working farm within walking distance of Newport and its beaches, this fully renovated property accommodates up to eight guests, making it an excellent choice for families or groups eager to explore the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside. The property offers ample parking for two cars and welcomes up to three well-behaved pets. Step inside to a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, where exposed stone walls, original arrow-slit windows and high open rafters create a sense of history and charm.

The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, two electric ovens, a five-ring hob and a microwave, making self-catering simple.

Gather around the large farmhouse-style dining table for shared meals, then relax in the sitting area with comfortable seating for eight, occasional furniture, a colour TV, DVD player, video and Hi-Fi system. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on the garden lawn furniture while soaking up the views. When it’s time to rest, you’ll find three bedrooms.

Two are on the ground floor with extra-wide doorways for easy wheelchair access: one with a king-size bed, open-beamed ceiling and classic furnishings, and another with twin beds.

The downstairs shower room is wheelchair accessible, featuring a drive-in shower, non-slip flooring, WC and vanity basin.

There’s also a utility room with a washing machine and an additional shower. Upstairs, the third bedroom offers limited headroom but includes four beds, coastal glimpses through Velux windows and an en-suite WC and basin. Newport itself is a delightful coastal town along the River Nevern, offering shops, pubs, tea rooms and a scenic golf course overlooking the sea.

It boasts a sheltered harbour and sits on the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path, perfect for coastal walks and wildlife spotting, including dolphins and seals.

Nearby, the Preseli Hills provide further walking opportunities with breathtaking views. Ty Felin is ideal for families or groups seeking generous, wheelchair-friendly accommodation in a welcoming countryside setting close to the coast.

Hendre Farm Cottages

Sleeping a total of 27 guests. Ty Fferm sleeps 6, Y Felin sleeps 8, Ty Gwartheg sleeps 10 and Ty Cariad sleeps 3. The properties are down a quiet farm track and surround the original farmyard. There is dormitory style bedrooms for the children in the attic spaces making it quite an adventure.
