Artwork influenced by the surrounding area adds a distinctly Pembrokeshire feel, while the Smart TV provides evening entertainment and a collection of books, DVDs and games gives the whole family plenty of other ways to spend time together.

Wander over to the kitchen when hunger strikes and make dinner using the electric oven and hob, preparing ingredients across the wooden worktops while the microwave and fridge with ice box take care of the everyday essentials.

Once everyone has finished eating, load the plates into the dishwasher and gather around the dining table for four to chat about the next day’s plans.

Mornings can begin with the kettle on or a coffee from the Nespresso machine before another day of exploring gets underway.

At bedtime, adults can settle into the stylish and spacious double bedroom, furnished with a mid-century-style bed, dressing table and useful storage for holiday belongings.

Later, head outside to the communal garden and take a seat at one of the picnic tables overlooking the fields, ideal for an alfresco meal or barbecue while the children make the most of the play area and swingball.

More space for spending time together awaits in the communal barn, complete with ceiling heaters, bench seating, a play area and a large map for inspiring days out, while garden and beach games can also be borrowed.

Once you return from coastal outings, countryside walks or cycling adventures, the shared laundry facilities come in handy, with free-to-use washer/dryers and a sink for rinsing sandy beach equipment or muddy boots, alongside hanging space for wetsuits and outerwear and secure storage for bicycles.

When it is time to explore further afield, a pub is a little over a mile from the cottage and the nearest shop is a short drive away.
