“We stayed at the Rhosgranog caravan for three nights this week as a group of three adults and found it to be a great base for exploring the area.”
The caravan was a very comfortable size for us to sleep, cook, and relax after full days out.
The photos on the listing are accurate — there’s a good‑sized living area with lovely patio doors looking out over open fields, which was a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings. There are two double bedrooms, with the larger one having an ensuite toilet and sink, plus a main bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. The caravan was spotless on arrival, with good‑quality furnishings, clean linens, and towels and bedding all provided.
Gas central heating kept the caravan warm and the hot water was lovely. The heating itself was very effective, although the timer system didn’t seem to work — when it was on it became very hot, and when off it cooled down quickly. Wi‑Fi was a bit patchy, but given the rural location that’s completely understandable. The TV has an Amazon Fire Stick, which gave access to plenty of channels and apps.
Angela, the host, was absolutely lovely — very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The caravan is situated on her farm, with lots of wildlife around, which added to the peaceful countryside feel. Angela also gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat locally, which we really appreciated.
One small suggestion would be a picnic table outside the caravan, which would be perfect for summer evenings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return — a clean, well‑located, and comfortable place to stay with a wonderful host.
