Family get together for a special birthday- what a gorgeous place!

Beautifully renovated. Such attention to detail. And an idyllic & peaceful setting. Great walks from the doorstep. We plan to return!

Everything we needed was there - they had thought of everything! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is huge, so spacious and immaculately clean. Thank you so much for having us we had the best time x

We had an absolutely great stay, the property is beautiful as is the landscape around.

Plenty of parking and attentive and communicative hosts. The walk up the mountain leads to stunning views of the local landscape. The hot tub and outside area is lovely, we didn't get around to using the BBQ, but we did spend time on the sun loungers and outside table playing some board games etc. There is a fridge in the kitchen and a fridge freezer in the utility room near to the kitchen, as well as lots of cupboard space for keeping food. Plenty of cooking utensils and cutlery/crockery. All of the fixtures and fittings are done to a very high standard and kept in really good condition, perfectly clean throughout. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place that comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.

We had a fabulous short holiday here with our family of 10.

The accommodation had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The hot tub was a real highlight — lovely, warm, and perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The whole place felt welcoming and homely, making it easy to settle in straight away. A wonderful stay for a large family gathering, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Huge living kitchen and lounge open plan space, with everything you could need. The bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Outdoor space is small but enclosed, the hot tub is lovely and the outdoor seating is great. The location is remote, but the nearest village has an excellent and welcoming pub (about 1.5miles down country lanes). The only slight negative is the walking from the barn - I have an ordnance survey app which showed many footpaths close by the property but they were either inaccessible (gates tied etc) or not marked. We definitely could not get our dog through them). Other than that, I would highly recommend!

Our weekend at Godre'r Gyrn was fantastic, the hosts were really friendly and helpful, the space was well equipped, clean and perfect for our large group (11 humans and 3 dogs!

). The location is stunning, we would wake up to birdsong and frolicking lambs, enjoyed the local sights and relaxed in the hot tub for some star gazing star gazing at night. The perfect relaxing getaway! Particular highlights - en suites in every room was super handy for our large group, extra fridge space and well equipped kitchen made cooking for 11 nice and easy, and the info booklet was a nice touch!

The barn conversion is amazing, cozy yet incredibly spacious, with brilliant entertaining areas that made it easy for all 11 of us (from 6 months to 81 years, plus 3 dogs) to spend time together. The en‑suite bedrooms with lovely showers were a real bonus and suited everyone perfectly. We spent most of our time in the open‑plan kitchen and dining area, which is such a sociable space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for a large group, and the extra fridge in the utility room was ideal for keeping drinks cool. From the barn, we enjoyed lovely walks up the mountain and along the lanes, and we also visited the local pub for dinner which we’d highly recommend. There is livestock in the surrounding fields, so dogs do need to be kept on leads when out walking, but the garden at the barn is very secure and gave the dogs plenty of safe space to play. The countryside views from the barn are beautiful, and the setting is peaceful and quiet, with only the natural sounds of running water, animals and birds. There’s plenty to do in the local area too; we visited waterfalls and an aqueduct, all within a 30–45 minute drive. This is definitely the best holiday rental we’ve booked, and we hope to return one day.

The en-suites meant everyone had their own rooms. The was a guide full of ideas for walks / food places / tourist attractions.

We had a great time,the barn was beautiful,the hosts were super friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble.

Would definitely recommend. I would like to make a suggestion that one of the bathrooms has grab rails either side of the toilet and one in the shower,this would have been especially helpful for myself. Would definitely return.

Great to have en suites with each bedroom. Hot tub was lovely after enjoying walks in the fabulous surroundings. Loved the kitchen/dining area to eat & socialise in. We had a really nice meal in the local pub- The Wynnstay Inn. Nice little organic shop local too. The owners customer service was amazing. Would love to return as we all enjoyed - ages from 9 to 69 plus our dog too. Thank you!!

Stayed here for new year with the family and cannot fault the place.

Everything was immaculate, there was everything you needed there. Beautiful scenery and walks. Will definitely be booking again!
