Honey Bee Cottage

Escape to Honey Bee Cottage, a charming countryside hideaway near Welshpool designed for couples.

Inside, the open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and kettle, plus a sitting area with TV and internet access.

The king-size bedroom provides a welcoming space, while the bathroom features a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, with fresh towels and toiletries included.

In the morning, take a gentle stroll along the Montgomery Canal, where still water mirrors the sky, narrowboats drift past at an unhurried pace and long towpaths invite slow walks side by side.

Spend a day at Powis Castle and Garden, wandering the terraced grounds lined with clipped yew trees, pausing at viewpoints overlooking the valley and exploring the castle interiors that rise above the landscape.

For something a little different, hop aboard the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway, settling into your seats as the steam train rolls through open countryside, climbs gentle gradients and reveals wide‑reaching views across Mid Wales.

With its convenient location and relaxing atmosphere, Honey Bee Cottage is the perfect choice for a countryside escape.
