    “What an absolute gem.”

Quiet peaceful and yet only 25 min from Cardiff Bay. The facilities were outstanding for a Shepherds Hut, the induction hob, air fryer and other appliances looked brand new. The Cwtch was clean bright and gave a cozy warm feeling. The facilities were well thoughtout and very usable, the TV was on a swivel mount, the table folded away and there was a place for everything, cups, glasses, utensils, etc. The log burner wasn't needed as the day time temperature was so warm, but would work extremely ...

The log burner wasn't needed as the day time temperature was so warm, but would work extremely well in colder weather. The wash facilities are a on the tight side, but they are perfectly functional, and very cleverly designed, the shower kicked out plenty of pressure and hot water. The replacement of the composting toilet is a welcomed addition as we were the first to use this newly fitted flushing toilet. The views from the garden and Cwtch were stunning, these were accompanied by what feels like a cottage garden and patio area. Another nice feature was the fence surrounding the hut and garden, as we took our rottie staffy cross dog, who also enjoyed the stay. The King's Arms Pub where the Cwtch resides behind, serves the most amazing food which was reiterated by the locals we spoke with. All in all this place is perfect if you need to get away and relax, but close enough if you fancy going for an excursion. Dan the Pub and Cwtch owner is a chef and a top bloke, we will definitely be using this little gem again, next time though in the chillier months so the log fire can be used with a glass of wine, whilst cwtching my wife in the Shepherds Cwtch.
