This is not somewhere for a family or anyone wanting external entertainment. The location is quiet and the accommodation basic (as advertised) but it does provide what is needed (again, as advertised). The hot tub, whilst a small inflatable one, was very welcome after days out.
There was lots of wildlife to watch (birds, squirrels, bats) and the horses and goats in the fields.

However: The accommodation did feel a little tired and could do with a little TLC to bring it back to life. For example. None of the outside lights appear to work and a handrail up to the hot tub would be a good idea (especially as you may have wet feet/footwear when coming back down).
The property is fenced in, but without a gate. We were a little perturbed one afternoon to find people walking up the steps beside the treehouse. Luckily we were not in the hot tub!
We also could not the walk or bridlepath, a schematic map would have been useful.
The biggest complaint is that the water pressure was so low for the first 4 days that warm showers were impossible and sometimes nothing would come out of the tap. It did improve later in the week.
