Corner Cottage

We stayed at Corner Cottage in July and had an excellent stay.

The cottage is in a great location, within walking distance of the beach and cliff path, and was about a 10–15 minute drive from Tesco in Haverfordwest. It was also a great base for exploring other areas of Pembrokeshire. There was plenty of space in the cottage for the two of us and our dog, and it was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including little things like water bowls for the dog and pegs for the washing line. And even though the weather was hot, the cottage stayed nice and cool inside. The secure outdoor area was great for the dog and was bigger than we expected from the photos. There was plenty of space to sit outside, with a mixture of sunny and shaded areas throughout the day. We didn't use the upstairs part of the cottage, but there is a gate across the stairs to stop the dog trying to climb them, which we were grateful for. The kitchen area is quite small, as others have said, but this wasn't an issue for us as we weren't planning on cooking. The bathroom is lovely though, it looked brand new. I particularly liked the large shower! There was plenty of parking available and we never saw the car park full. We had no issues during our stay and didn't need to contact Sykes or the property owner about anything. Overall, a really great location and a lovely place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely holiday in Corner Cottage, clean and comfortable, the kitchen although not planned out the best, had everything we wanted and more, plus a empty cupboard for our food which does not happen in many holiday lets we have stayed in.

The outdoor space was secure with seating area. The bathroom was great with the best shower we have ever found. The car parking was great plenty of space. The only down side we found was one hand towel for four people for a week. We will definitely be staying here again. Penny Foster

Corner Cottage was a delight.

Only a few minutes walk from the lovely large sandy beach of Broad Haven which was visible from the dining area window.. Well equipped,(personally we would have liked a larger cafetiere!). The thick stone walls of the cottage kept us cool during a very hot period and the handy patio with table and chairs was just right for outside dining. A very peasant stay!

We have stayed here before and a found the accommodation excellent as before.

The location is great and an easy 100m walk to beach and also, pubs cafes shop etc any easy walk.The new bathroom is of a very high standard and walk in shower much appreciated. On arrival there was a minor issue that the owner and Sykes dealt with very quickly and efficiently in a calm manner. All sorted within the hour. Many Thanks

My husband & I have stayed at this cottage on a number of occasions over the past 5 years usually with our Chow Chow, Barney.

The cottage has been upgraded over this time which was especially noticeable with the new bathroom last week. The cottage is extremely well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery, kitchen applicances etc and also so very conveniently placed for the beach which Barney loves - he is less keen on the artificial grass in the enclosed garden - we, however, appreciate it's safety & seclusion. The weather was beautiful last week and with the cottage blocking most of the breeze the garden was even warm enough for us to sit out in. Great break & undoubtedly we'll be back.

Great stay

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location, just a few minutes from the beach.

Has everything you might need and a nice little garden space with comfy furniture. The only thing I would add that we would have liked some instructions about taking our car into the courtyard area to unload the car. We weren't sure if that was allowed or not so carried all our belongings in from the car park. But that's just a minor detail.

Great holiday in this lovely cottage in a fab location, well equipped and beds were really comfy.

Super cottage in a fab location, short walk to the beach and lovely friendly village with glorious beach and easy access to coastal path.

What a beautiful place!

The location is great, close to the beach and local places to eat. Our dog loved the enclosed garden. The brushed cotton bedding was so appreciated as it was cold during our visit. Little touches that really add to the place. Tv was easy to use, we loved the guestbook, and really loved the nest of smaller tables, so useful! Only things to mention- the duvet on the double bed is too small for 2 larger people, neither of us were covered fully when in bed. At home we have a super king duvet on our king size bed- worth considering as it’ll really increase comfort. The 2 sofas could use restuffing- there’s no cushion left so you can feel the wooden beams in the sofa, lying on the sofa is very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t be an issue if you’re out and about but we had some rotten weather for 1 of the days we were there so being indoors was appealing. Those points aside, we really loved the place, we will be back if you’ll have us!

An initial problem with the heating was very quickly resolved and we were warm and comfortable at Corner Cottage.

The cottage is extremely well equipped and just a few minutes walk from the beach, cafes and Londis shop. We're looking forward to a return visit.

This property is perfect for our family.

This is the third time we have been here and each time we have had a very relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed our break.

We absolutely loved the cottage and Broad Haven which is perfect for us and our flatcoat retriever who enjoyed himself so much on the large beach and in the water.

The village has everything you want and everyone very friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we have booked again to go next June!

We have just had a lovely week in corner cottage the cottage had everything we needed for our stay.

was very comfortable . Positioned in a great place just up from the beach. We fell in love tith the beautiful coastline. Our dog Otto had the time of his life. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Very nice cottage, we had a great weekend .

Everything that you would need in it.

Excellent location and very well equipped.

Comfortable, ample parking and dog friendly. Generally clean, but could do with deep clean to remove cobwebs around doors and windows. Also, check on compliance of wood burning stove - Maybe too close to wood beam (even twin wall needs clearances), no non combustible hearth (required for vinyl flooring). (I work for a HETAS company so being cautious). Few missing lightbulbs. I would definitely recommend and look to come back.

The cottage is stunning, location is perfect, every detail has been carefully thought through to make your stay as relaxing as possible, the local information supplied within the cottage is also a great assist when looking for days out and planning trips great place to relax and enjoy the Pembroke shire coast line.

Definitely coming back

We had a really lovely stay, there were so many thoughtful things left in case we’d forgotten to bring anything and the beds were soooo comfortable!

It was also super peaceful and we would love to come again. The only issues really were minor, like some of the cutlery, pans and trays not being totally clean, and the lack of a jug and whisk, unless I just totally missed them

Great location near fantastic beach and facilities in Broad Haven.

Corner Cottage is small but has prettty much everything you need for a comfortable seaside holiday in Pembrokeshire. We were 3 adults and a dog which was fine, 4 adults would have been less so, but if you have brilliant weather like we did you can spill outside. There were a few small issues you wouldn't expect (no washing up liquid, old coffee left in a jar on dusty shelf, cleaning equipment etc stored in the double bedroom wardrobe) and the upstairs area was really just a storeroom. However on the whole we were happy with the accommodation and enjoyed the many attractions of the immediate area and beyond. Such a pity the Puffin coastline bus wasn't operating - this would have made walking the coastal path and exploring much simpler. We would return if visiting Broad Haven again.

Overall, a lovely stay and perfect location with everything we needed.

I would say with the time of year and still being cold outside, the main open living area was a bit chilly due to poor insulation in the cottage. We could see draft spots when it was windy. Whilst it is pleasing to see recycling bins now provided in the outside waste area, it's a shame there is no food caddy for food waste. In this day and age, recycling within rental properties should be better. Thanks

Lovely cottage everything is there the water is hot and the place is spotless

Great location & warm and very well-equipped cottage, but needs spring clean & overhaul, & better wifi.

The kitchen facilities were excellent, as was the central heating (important for winter guests). Reclining sofa was very comfortable and the dog loved the gardens. The owner was very helpful in responding to issues we raised during our 3-week stay. The cleaner did a great job but the two hour clean probably isn't enough to address the longer-standing issues. There are a lot of cobwebs and spiders, and the cottage needs an overhaul, e.g. replace the tatty plastic flowers and mismatched pictures and ornaments, and mend the broken bathroom window closer so that guests don't have to go outside in the dark at night to shut the window after a shower! The wifi went down for 48 hours+, so could you invest in better wifi?

This property had everything we needed and more.

The location is perfect for walks, the shops and the beach. The kids loved the garden and the dog had a great time too!

Great cottage with loads of extras - the only negative is - as it was towards the end of the season, the cottage does need some attention general tlc on themaintenace front (window sill, draft exclusions).

Everything was great in the cottage.

Just strange to put a dining table and chairs in the middle of 2 sofas and a tv. A clothes horse would have been handy.

the property was fantastic and extremely well equipped - particularly the kitchen - having stayed in properties with only a few plates etc.

Loved the mezzanine for the kids to play - great shower - lovely wood burner. The only downside was despite the 'deep clean' the property smelled of dog as soon as you opened the door - this was concentrated in the double bedroom. I tried spraying perfume on the carpet but I think the smell was also in the duvet as you could smell dog when you moved it!!

Although we had to cut short our holiday due to a bereavement in the family, we enjoyed the comfort and location of the property.

Will book this property again in the future.

Excellent cottage we had a fabulous stay, the little garden was perfect to catch a few rays, between the showers and the communal garden at the back was lovely to stroll round with the dog at the end of the day, so much so we have booked for another week in September.

View to the sea is not quite what we expected but still there, and its a very short walk across the car park, everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Corner cottage wss very well eqipped lots of extras and so cosy and warm the location was minuetes from the beach.

it was a lovely place . Only one thing was wrong the television system was unwatchable other than that wonderful place wonderful time

Cosy well equipped, and surprisingly roomy.

We enjoyed the view of the sea! Good information on walks. Handy having the bucket for muddy boots as well as was the bench outside for putting on & taking off muddy boots. Lovely location, would recommend

Hi We have stayed at your cottage twice this year, the 2nd time with our puppy Barney.

Barney loved it, especially the side garden and tiled floors as well as the very easy access to Broadhaven beach. The only reason for the less than 100% is the mattress on the double bed which is rather soft and perhaps in need of replacing. Thanks Julie

Good centre to see SW Wales.

Cottage fine for two people but we thought a family of four would find it very cramped. A minor point - you said it would be available from 3 pm. We were informed by the cleaner to come back at 4 pm.

Great dig friendly cottage .

Only issue we had was after a long journey down from birth Yorkshire we got to cottage at 15.10only to be met by cleaner who said cottage would not be ready until 15.50 so that was disappointing and she didn't even apologise !

The cottage was very clean, cosy and very well equipped.

Ideal location for access to the beach. All in all a fantastic holiday...and the weather was brilliant also! We would love to return next year.

the cottage was in alovely position a short walk across car park and the beach awaits you the cottage was very clean and covid guidelines adhered to some aspects of the cottage need updating for example one power point in kitchen is allyou have to share with with toaster kettle etc also a outside tap would assist in cleaning up after pets on the artificial grass but with all that is going on in the world very gratefull for a break in your cottage in a lovely part of wales

Corner Cottage is ideally situated just a short walk from the expansive Broadhaven beach, in a private and picturesque group of stone cottages.

Although there was a large communal garden with picnic benches, our private little garden with patio decking and Astro-turf lawn was a real sun trap. The beautiful coastal village of Little Haven ( which has a few lovely pubs/restaurants) is just a mile away and the county town of Haverfordwest is just 6 miles down the road. The cottage was well equipped and ideal for a couple, though the small kitchen area would be quite compact for 4 adults! The WiFi connection was excellent, though for some reason we couldn’t get ITV 1 on the television. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed looking at the sea and windsurfers whilst eating breakfast. Will definitely consider a return visit in the future.

This is a wonderful cottage with a sea view!

Great for kids but it was just 2 adults for us. There's a brand new playground in the adjacent area to the cottage. Woodland walk out the front door. Lovely private garden. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen area. Coastal path short walk away. You can drive to nearby beaches or just park the car at the cottage and walk for the entire stay. Real great location.

Lovely cosy cottage.

Ideal for 2 to 4 adults and a secure garden for your four legged family. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Great location and lovely walks in woods and coastal path and good pubs and restaurants. The Saint Brides Bay Inn in Little Haven was fabulous in choice and quality of food and service.

The location was great for the village, beach & coastal path.

The availability of private parking was excellent and the cottage itself was well-stocked with everything we needed.

The cottage was bigger on the inside than it looks from the photos!

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hot water and heating was very responsive and plentiful. They kids LOVED the 'games and TV den' in the loft. The small enclosed garden was safe for the dog to mooch about in without escaping. Excellent location within 2 min of the beach and pembrokeshire coastal path. Faultless!

Corner Cottage in Broadhaven was probably the cleanest place we've ever rented, and extremely well equipped.

It had an efficient heating system too. Would definitely recommend it

Coastal works were beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at Corner Cottage and the location was ideal for our needs.

Space was limited in the bedroom with the double bed and, as expected, the bath was rather small - these are small matters and in general we were very comfortable throughout our stay. We were careless enough to leave our bag of washing but the owner was very helpful in facilitating its return. Becky, the cleaner, was outstanding: at the first opportunity she parcelled and posted our washing and was very pleasant during our exchange of messages - she is also an outstandingly good cleaner! We would love to return to one of the cottages and would recommend our cottage to friends

Location great for coast walks and beach.

Cottage was fine but was not wholly clean. E.g. cutlery plates were dirty so we just washed before use. Fridge had bits in and freezer ice looked dodgy. But beds were comfortable and local info pamphlets etc. good. Outside was fine but bench was very weathered so not really nice to sit on. But overall ok for a short break and ok value wise.

My wife and I had a fantastic time in the Corner Cottage at Broad Haven , we would definitely recommend a holiday with Sykes .

The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Instructions (including those specific to Covid-19 procedures) were clear and concise, but also friendly. We also greatly appreciated the little extras (milk in the fridge on arrival etc). Overall we had a great weekend (despite the weather), and we will definitely be coming back.

Home from home!

Lovely comfortable cottage well equipped but could do with a food cupboard there is a lot to cook with but nowhere to store food except fridge and freezer it also says on web site fire wood free but there is a tin for second basket of wood asking for five pounds each time you fill it up this needs to be on web.

We had a lovely week.

We were really taken by the effort and detail, and the comprehensive facilities and equipment in the home.

Would have been nice to have wifi/internet - but then again, nice to be without too :). Plenty of TV channels. Book of walks nice touch - recommend the 3.5/4 mile walk north through woods, extended to 'The Druidstone' hotel for lunch, returning via coastal path, . Enjoyed trips out by car to St Ann's Head, Presili Hills/Mountains, Milford Haven (for panto at theatre), Haverford West and Pembroke. 'Ocean' cafe in village good value and great food.

Convenient location to beach and amenities, lovely area, well-equipped and comfortable cottage.

Cottage lovely and in a beautiful setting.

Cottage well designed and stocked with all you could possibly need. Lovely addition of the attic space for teenager to chill. Games and DVDs very welcome. Garden space both private and communal great. Beach as suggested just 3 minutes walk. Very nice. Village of Broadhaven lovely as was surrounding area. Would definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves.

The cottage is fantastic.

Perfect for a family of 3 plus 1 dog. The kitchen is very well equipped, beds are comfortable and bathroom a good size. 5 minute walk to beach. The enclosed garden is wonderful for dogs and the main gardens are big l, well kept and a great place to meet other residents. If the cottage had WiFi and clearer TV instructions it would get a 10. But can't really complain as we spent a lot of time outdoors.

The cottage was absolutely ideal for us (two adults, one small child and a dog) and we had a great holiday.

For both dog and toddler, the enclosed back garden was a huge bonus, and we were able to sit outside on the sheltered, sunny terrace for meals on most days. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped and all the rooms were comfortable and homely; having a proper bath (with excellent shower) was also very welcome. Being five minutes walk away from the beautiful sandy beach at Broad Haven was fantastic for our three year old, as was the children's play area in the loft space. We are already talking about coming back next year!

The cottage has got everything you would require during your stay.

For us with our dog the enclosed garden was a real bonus. The location is excellent, with a great beach a couple of hundred metres walk away, a woodland walk to the back of the property, and coastal paths that seem to go on forever. The sea front has pubs and restaurants, and with Little Haven just a mile away, there’s more choices to be had in a very quaint location. We found most of the pubs and restaurants in the area to be dog friendly. Overall a very relaxing time which was helped by the fantastic weather all week.

This was the third visit we have spent at Corner Cottage, and it was equally as enjoyable as the first, Beautiful Cottage, Beautiful Broadhaven, we miss you already.

Had a lovely stay at corner cottage.

Weather wasn't brilliant but the log fire made up for it. Cottage was lovely & warm & cosy, only a 2 minute walk 2 shops etc. Would well recommend it.

This is a lovely, well equipped cottage with clear instructions with regard to heating, hot water etc.

Just a pity there's no wi-fi available as some of us do have to keep in touch with e-mails etc whilst we are away.

Nice sea view from lounge window, very pretty courtyard. Had everything we needed. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing break.

Perfect location.

Well equipped cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would like to book again for next year. No phone or WiFi reception was an issue however it probably added to the holiday in the end. You don't have to go too far to get a signal and it was nice to be without it. Enclosed garden perfect for the dog. The 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach was perfect. We were all sad to leave.
