Potters Barn

We had a wonderful stay at Potters Barn and couldn’t have wished for more.

The cottage felt like a true home from home, beautifully presented, incredibly well equipped and very comfortable. It was a lovely, base for exploring the area, and we would happily stay again. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.

.from the minute we arrived our hosts we there to greet us and very helpful..waking up in the morning to the sheep and the views were amazing and were missing it so much now...we will definitely be booking again ❤️ only thing we needed more of was mirrors as there were 3 ladies but I know if I asked they would of sorted it but I kept forgetting because after a lovely day we didn't think about it..thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage barn we loved it ❤️

Great accommodation, ideal quiet location with peaceful views over the fields, with sheep, horses and donkeys.

Loads of space inside, owners were lovely and helpful. Welcome pack was a nice touch (bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, jam and welsh cakes). Only a few minutes to Folly Farm (about 5mins to walk there). Small shop over the road, co-op in kilgetty (5mins), and other supermarkets within 15-20 mins drive. Well equipped kitchen, think it has everything you'd need for cooking a banquet to baking, and everything top quality, including dolce gusto coffee maker, air fryer & dishwasher and good size fridge and freezer. Beds were really comfy, rooms were cool at night and fans were provided. Only a few very small niggles in that it would benefit from mirrors in 2 of the bedrooms and a shelf in the shower and bathroom for toiletries, but we made do, so nothing major. Look forward to staying again and would highly recommend it.

This was our second stay & it didn't disappoint.

The cottage is well equipped & the view lovely. Shirley & David are on hand if you have any problems & are really great. The welcome basket was a lovely touch & much appreciated, it meant we didn't have to rush to the shops. Our dog loved the secure garden. We plan to stay again in the future.

Immaculately presented, plenty of space, with everything we could possibly want .It was very quiet, plenty of parking and handy for all the places we wanted to visit. The owner was very welcoming and had left a nice basket of food to have with our tea - much appreciated after a long drive. Everything was just perfect.

Potters Barn was really comfortable, clean and very well equipped.

Very good location for exploring around the Pembrokeshire coast. It was quiet too and so nice to look out on fields with little lambs and horses. Really appreciated the basket of goodies, especially the Welsh cakes.

What a fantastic holiday cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at Potter's Barn. It was so nice to be welcomed by the owner and there was a very generous welcome pack too. It was a pleasure to open the double doors and enjoy the amazing view every morning. Excellent facilities, peaceful, very clean and plenty of space. We should have booked two weeks here! Begelly is a lovely village and close to Saundersfoot, Tenby and Narberth. At the end of our holiday, we came away feeling very relaxed. A heartfelt thank you to the owners for providing such amazing holiday accommodation.

Potters Barn was lovely.

It was warm and welcoming. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped. We felt comfortable and at home. Potters Barn met all our expectations and was exactly as it looked on the Sykes site. We would definitely consider going there again.

A beautiful cottage We enjoyed our week in Potters Barn, a beautiful spotless comfy and cosy cottage with everything you could possibly want.

On arrival there was a welcome basket with lots of goodies and milk and butter in the fridge. The view from the lounge window looking at the horses, ponies and sheep was lovely to see. The cottage is in a good position to visit South Wales. Shirley and David are always there for a chat and if you need any help or advice. We will definitely come back to this beautiful cottage.

Lovely views from the living rooms. Very well equipped. Location wise, quiet location but well positioned for Saundersfoot, tenby and the wonderful Barafundle Bay beach.

The cottage was lovely, clean and very well equipped.

The only downside for us were the settees, unfortunately we both suffer with back problems and they didn't provide sufficient support. David and Shirley were extremely helpful and kind when we had a problem with my husbands mobility scooter, thank you to you both.

The barn was very clean and a lovely basket of goodies was waiting for us on arrival. The view across to the fields is very relaxing and it was lovely to see the baby lambs and the shore horses.

When we arrived, we were really pleased to find the welcome basket and milk left for us, It was very nice to meet Shirley, (one of the owners of the cottage), who was really helpful in answering our questions, and providing information on the local area. Overall, we found the cottage to be well-equipped and extremely comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again, and to recommend it to others.

Beautiful cottage with lovely hosts!

We had a lovely Christmas weekend away at Potters Barn. Upon arrival we were greeted with some outdoor lighting (very grateful for as it was dark when we arrived) and a lit up Christmas tree indoors! The cottage was immaculate, and we had a hamper with some lovely bread, tea and coffee, milk and butter in the fridge, tissue paper ready in the bathroom, towels and soap for everyone, and WiFi and Netflix to entertain the kids while we unpacked! The cottage had a travel cot, and lots of kitchenware. We were incredibly impressed with this cottage. It’s a stunning traditional cottage with wooden beams and real farm doors for each room. If that’s your vibe you will love this cottage! We didn’t get chance to make use of the garden area but it was beautifully presented, and the children loved watching the animals out in the field each morning which we could see from the double doors in the lounge. We’d definitely stay here again when we return to Folly Farm.

Our daughter, son in law and their dogs joined us. Can only reiterate that Potters Barn is the best self catering we have stayed in. Our daughter was equally impressed. When we arrived the lights were on, making the property welcoming, and when we entered the property there was a Christmas tree, totally unexpected and much appreciated. The property is excellent, warm, comfortable. The little touches are much appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely fabulous!

Extremely well equipped- sofas and beds comfortable and clean. Lovely views - great location - owners friendly and more than generous with the arrival gifts only one extremely small niggle the red or black pottery mugs- has to be white inside a mug! - I am sure if I asked they would have been happy to provide but I just went out and bought one - I loved it and hope to go back!

We have had self catering holidays for over 40 years and can only say this was the best property we have stayed in.

The property was excellent in every way. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable beds, settee etc. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything you needed was there. Views from the large picture window was stunning. Enjoyed watching the goats, sheep and horses. Can't think of anything else to say other than the property was perfect. Will be booking again.

Another excellent cottage, from Sykes.

Potters barn has been, without doubt, the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. The kitchen, in particular has everything you could possibly need. A comfortable, cosy and warm cottage, it more than met the needs of 5 adults and two large dogs. The attached, secure garden was great to allow the dogs some fresh air, without having any worries. Perfectly placed for all of the local beaches, towns and villages it really was a perfect getaway.

Gorgeous stay here with our family and dog.

Lovely views. Smart TV with lots of apps to use for adults and children. Close to train station and bus stops and pubs. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others! Our daughter was always excited to see the animals in the fields opposite the property.

Enjoyed our stay immensely at this very well equipped and extremely comfortable property.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Tho beds were really comfortable and the shower was very good. Highly recommend The Boars Head, the food was absolutely delicious.

Shirley was the perfect host, welcoming and friendly without being intrusive.

Very helpful when our dog unfortunately required emergency veterinary care on the last day of our holiday too. Very enjoyable stay, could not fault.

We took our Grandchild to Potters Barn last week.

He absolutely loved it. The animals being so close was a bonus for him to see each day and the 5 minute walk to Folly Farm and Zoo was brilliant We went twice as there was an offer to go free on your next visit if you went to admissions before you left The facilities were superb and you certainly had everything available that you needed. Perfect stay , very home from home , will definitely be going back and highly recommend. Potters Barn is perfectly situated for all activities and beaches too. Potters Barn delights from the moment you arrive there is ample car parking space immediately outside the front door, which makes unloading so very easy and the outlook is over beautiful Welsh farmland and fields with animals surrounding the property.

When you enter Shirley has made every effort to make the accommodation homely and to supply all your needs including welcome pack of bread cakes tea coffee etc and fridge products milk and butter as well as other goodies. The facilities are amazing and the Cottage is so well equipped you won’t need those usual things that you think you might need for a self-catering break. If you are technology minding there are two Alexis pods throughout the property and there is a smart TV with ready connected Amazon Prime and Netflix as well as conventional channels. Shirly & David have done an amazing job with this cottage and you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here. We had two cocker spaniels and the garden is beautifully kept and fully enclosed so you know your loved ones will be safe outside. Well done what a brilliant holiday we’ve had and thank you so much . This was our 2nd year at potters barn, we absolutely love it, can’t say a bad word at all, the owners are lovely and leave a lovely little hamper, the location is just perfect, so peaceful to sit and take in the views with your morning coffee, the cottage is just perfect, our cockapoo loves it and makes friends with the lambs in the field, a must visit is the boars head the food is amazing…… already booked for next may we love it that much ….

We had a wonderful stay at Potters Barn and would definitely book a return and recommend to family and friends.

The barn itself was beautiful with all the facilities and equipment you need. It is also well positioned for many local attractions. If I was to be hyper critical the blind on the window by the front door needs changing because it is ‘see through’ and directly opposite the door of the double bedroom. It’s not so obvious during the day but is very apparent in the evening when the hall light is on.

2nd time staying here, couldn’t ask for more, very peaceful with all mod cons big rooms comfy beds and very clean, Shirley and David are always on hand should you need anything from directions or places to eat and drink, and some lovely walks, booked again already for next year.

We've stayed in many places in Pembrokeshire over the years to visit my mother and this has been one of the nicest properties we have stayed at.

Spotlessly clean and the dogs loved the blankets that had been thoughtfully provided. A wonderful basket of goodies on arrival which was so welcomed after a long journey from Portsmouth. Thank you for being such fabulous hosts.

This place is beautiful inside and out, very relaxing, quiet & peaceful with lovely surroundings, it has everything you need, couldn’t fault a single thing, and Shirley and David are always on hand should you need them, a wonderful welcome hamper, and any local information you may need just ask, nothing is too much trouble, can’t wait to come back.

A real home from home

Beautiful cottage spacious and immaculate with everything you could possible need and more wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful hosts that are there if you need them. A lovely welcome basket on arrival with tea, coffee, bread and the freshest eggs and milk in the fridge. Perfect for our 2 dogs with an enclosed garden with views over the fields with ponies and sheep that come to say hello. Would highly recommend this little gem.

Lovely week away, fully equipped home with everything you need with lots of little touches that you don’t often get .

Lovely welcome basket with butter, welsh cakes , jam, eggs, a loaf and milk in the fridge. Garden secure for a dog , plenty parking . Owners are on site not that we had any problems . Shower is fantastic ,normally in rural areas these can have no pressure , but it was better than mine at home. Netflix on the tv. Place is great for people with mobility issues nice and flat and plenty space to move in bedrooms, beds were comfy. I can not fault anything, it was perfect. Large coop in Kilgetty about a mile away (not walkable with shopping) there is a little shop/ off license over the road with essentials and papers, open long hours and Aldi is about a 10min drive.

Lovely place to stay, welcomed by the owners.

In the kitchen area was a basket with food in it and milk and butter in the fridge, such a lovely gesture. Clean and tidy, but I was surprised that with stone flooring in the bedrooms, there was no small rug by the side of the bed. Being able to look out of the patio doors and see the animals in the fields was quite a treat. Certainly it is a holiday place that I would recommend, well worth it.

Everything in the cottage was so homely, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. A car is essential though. The owners were so lovely and lived on site too. Perfect holiday with my dogs

Myself, my mother and my 3 year old Grandson stayed at Potters Barn for 1 week from Saturday 20th May - Saturday 27th May.

Shirley welcomed us when we arrived which was lovely. We had a welcome basket containing Fresh bread, welsh salted butter, welsh cakes. Fresh eggs. tea bags and coffee which we felt was very thoughtful. Potters Barn itself was beautiful, cleaned to a very high standard, every appliance you could think of was available. Beds were comfortable, we really could not fault this property. To wake up in the morning and sit outside to eat our breakfast, watching the ponies, sheep, lambs and Alpacas was beautiful. Following breakfast, my Grandson would feed grass to the pony who he loved. The enclosed garden was well maintained and clean. Such a wonderful peaceful location. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her first holiday in years and felt extremely relaxed. Shirley, David and their son Peter were such a friendly, kind and pleasant family. Jacob my Grandson, had the experience of going in to Shirleys garden to collect fresh eggs with Peter. He was so excited. We were blessed with wonderful weather. We went to Folly Farm, Saundersfoot and Tenby during our stay. Most days were spent on the beach. There is a bakery at the bottom of the hill, lovely fresh bread, pasties, cakes. 5 minute drive to Saundersfoot 10 minutes to Tenby and you can walk up the hill to Folly farm. We all had an amazing week and will definitely return. Thank you Shirley, David and Peter, we will see you all again. Kirsty, Carol and Jacob xx

Had a absolutely wonderful time at potters barn, beautiful converted barn with everything you could possibly need, a lovely welcome basket Upon arrival, the owners greeted us to, lovely waking up to the little brown lambs, ponies and Alpacas to which I enjoyed my morning coffee with, our cockapoo was settled and had a great time to.

We explored surrounding areas and had lovely meals at the boars head, most places were dog friendly too. Will definitely be booking again next year, absolutely top marks , we loved it ♥️

The holiday cottage was really lovely, everything you could want was provided.

The settees and beds were comfortable which for me that is important and the shower was great. We have a dog so the small enclosed garden was important but although small it was more than big enough. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Some lovely beaches close by all in all a great place to stay would highly recommend.

Was lovely being next to fields with alpacas and horses, and sheep. Owner very nice and helpful. Well equipped & plenty big enough!

The property was very well appointed from the comfort aspect, incuding an excellent shower and also with modern conveniences like a smart TV and a couple of Alexa's.

Also milk bread, eggs and Welsh cakes. These little touches just made your stay that bit more enjoyable.

It was lovely to be able to see the animals from Folly Farm just over the fence! The property was beautifully clean and had all the facilities we needed. Shirley greeted us on our first day and had some ‘top tips’ about where to visit! Beautiful, quiet beaches were literally ten minutes away as well as the busy towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby. This was a great base for exploring the area!

The cottage was wonderful and so very well equipped, especially the kitchen.

The beds were very comfortable and lovely quilts and bed linen. Having parking right outside for our two cars was perfect and the small garden was just right for our little dog and had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting outside watching the sheep, horses and alpacas. The situation made travelling around very simple as so close to main roads but without the traffic noise. The only suggestion I would add is maybe a small stool in the single bedroom to be able to sit down to use a hairdryer at the mirror but it’s a small point. Thank you for a lovely place to spend time in beautiful Pembrokeshire.

Potters Barn was very clean well stocked for every eventuality and in an ideal position to visit Tourist venues in the area.Cannot recommend highly enough and the goodie basket left for us on arrival was a lovely touch.

friendly owner. Ideally situated to visit local beaches and attractions. We were left a very generous basket of goodies, including freshly laid eggs from their chickens. We enjoyed looking out over the surrounding fields, watching sheep, ponies, donkeys and lots of different birds. We will definitely use this cottage again. It provided us with a perfect getaway and a much needed rest.

If I could take this cottage and drop it in other places in the country for other holidays I would.

very comfortable with a good range of equipment. Only downside was the lack of a washing machine. If we had had children with us or even if we'd decided to swim in the sea it would have been a problem, Excellent pubs locally serving good reasonably priced food. Definitely recommend booking in advance. lovely to sit in the garden and watch the sheep and alpaca.

We thoroughly enjoyed are week at potters barn, we where left a lovely basket of goodies which was very welcomed when we arrived.

The only thing that they could improve on is mirrors in the bedrooms.

Accommodation only had 1 wardrobe and a small curtained off area to hang clothes.

The small room had no wardrobe space. For 5 people this was inadequate. Sofas were insufficient for 5 people. Only seating room for 4. Dining table too small for 5 to sit round comfortably. 1 mirror over 3 bedrooms is also poor. Cottage is lovely to look at but not practical and lack of space made the holiday v difficult.

Lovely little garden overlooking the animals on the field. Great spot for visiting Tenby and saundersfoot and round the corner from folley farm. Would recommend!

Beautiful holiday home.

It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Really comfortable. The owner met us on arrival and had provided a lovely welcome hamper containing milk, bread, eggs from her farm, scones, jam and clotted cream! The patio looked out over a local farm with alpacas, sheep and horses. The only warning is that the property is next to a busy noisy road for those who are noise sensitive.

The cottage was very well fitted out and the owners who live on site have clearly thought about what holiday makers require.

The equipment in the kitchen not only was extensive but of a high quality, which made catering an enjoyable experience

Great cottage but bathroom could do with more shelving or storage facilities also mirrors in bedrooms and washing machine machine as we arrived during bad weather all clothes were wet wet and could have benefited from wash but overall nice place to stay with everything you could possible need real home from home and lovely owners

Just arrived home from weekend stay at Potters barn.

There was 4 adults, one child and three dogs. We all enjoyed, the lovely owner Shirley met us as we were arriving let us know about the beautiful walks on our door step. Left us a welcome gift which was very appreciated. Unfortunately the weather was absolutely awful but that didn’t bother us!! The cottage was spotless, Iv never stayed in such a clean cottage before. Loved seeing all the animals in the fields, we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Shirley!

I stayed in this beautiful cottage with my husband and 2 teen children.

The cottage was exactly as in the photos and description. It was cosy yet modern. It was more than spacious for the 4 of us, we even had a spare single bedroom. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything you might need. The owners had left a lovely basket of bread, jam, cream, butter, milk and other things which was most thoughtful and appreciated. The cottage backs onto lovely green fields where your regular neighbours are sheep, alpacas and horses! It was amazing to look out over the vast green landscape while having our meals. The beds were comfortable as we're the sofas. There were numerous family board games and puzzles for everyone. There is a convenience shop just across the road to pick up essentials or a Co-op just a few minutes drive away. Shirley (owner) came to greet us and offered friendly advice and suggestions about local walks and places to visit. I would most definately stay here again and highly recommend both this cottage and Sykes for their excellent customer service.

A lovely quiet place to stay in a great location.

Very safe for children with the enclosed garden. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. A washing machine on site would be handy especially with little ones.

Everything was perfect!

Lovely barn conversion! Done to a very high standard! Lovely that you could take your dog on holiday! When arriving in the dark the small lights were on in the bedrooms which was a lovely touch! The settees and beds were very comfortable! And everything you needed was provided !fabulous stay !thankyou Shirley and david!!

The date we went to Potters Barn was not the one we originally booked.

The original date was in lockdown. Sykes and the owners of Potters Barn quickly and willingly changed the date. I was expecting a fuss but I got co-operation. Thank you. On the next question , where there is no space for comment, I don't have an opinion. It will probably record a "yes" but that is simply the default answer.

Potters Barn was a fantastic cottage, spotlessly clean.

Every comfort catered for. Excellent location with lovely Alpacas for neighbours. A lovely welcome basket of goodies on arrival, very nice after a long journey. Thank you to Shirley and Dave for all your hard work in keeping such a lovely place.

The property was very nice and we were very please with the cleanliness especially given curren circumstances.

The owners live near by and were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Overall a really good experience.

The owners Sylvia and Dave couldn't do enough to ensure we had a wonderful stay and nothing was too much trouble - even exchanging the microwave within an hour, when it broke. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. When we arrived on the Friday, it was a lovely touch to have all the Christmas decorations up and lights on. Another lovely touch was the hamper, so thoughtful and very much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again.

Potters Barn was wonderful, it was all on one level , very comfortable and warm , the views over the fields with alpacas ,sheep and horses ,were a bonus ,very dog friendly ,and the owner Shirley was very welcoming, she had very kindly left us a superb hamper ,which we greatly appreciated, I would recommend Potters Barn ,it’s very near Tenby and Saundersfoot ,and right next door to Folly Farm ,
