    “We absolutely loved our stay at Pottery Cottage.”

    As a family of four, plus our little dog, we had everything we needed and more to enjoy a wonderful stay. The welcome basket was very much appreciated, especially after a very long day of travelling. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the towels and bedding were lovely, clean and fresh. The cottage is also in a fantastic location, just a short drive from many local attractions. It really felt like a home away from home, and we honestly ...

The welcome basket was very much appreciated, especially after a very long day of travelling. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the towels and bedding were lovely, clean and fresh. The cottage is also in a fantastic location, just a short drive from many local attractions. It really felt like a home away from home, and we honestly could have stayed for much longer! We would definitely love to return to Pottery Cottage and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a lovely, comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The property

Pottery Cottage is a wonderful barn conversion situated on the outskirts of Kilgetty, in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Internally, the cottage has been renovated by the owners to provide light and welcoming accommodation.

Entering the property, you will be greeted to a hallway with a small dining area where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst planning the day's events.

Look forward to relaxing and unwinding in the open-plan living space curled up with your loved ones discussing the days events in front of the electric stove, whilst the kitchen offers a number of contemporary appliances so you can cook up some delicious home-cooked meals.

Follow the steps up to a mezzanine double bedroom, which gives access to a further twin bedroom, whilst the ground floor has a quality fitted bathroom with roll-top bath and shower.

Discover a lawned garden and patio area outside, where you can get some peace and quiet in this tranquil location.

Pottery Cottage is a wonderful choice for a family break to Pembrokeshire.

Resting on the outskirts of the small village of Kilgetty, close to the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, are these two barn conversions. Fully furnished and renovated to a high standard, these properties have an exceptional modern design, with a light decor and an abundance of natural light flooding the rooms. You can spend your evenings unwinding in the open-plan living spaces, curled up and discussing the day's events whilst the warming electric stoves keep you nice and toasty well into the winter months. Discover fully-equipped kitchens housing all the appliances you could need to cook up some delicious meals, whilst the dining areas are perfect for family meals or to spread out with some board games. Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the well-presented bedrooms, all of which provide a range of contemporary furniture for storage purposes and supported by a family bathroom in Pottery Cottage or a shower room in Potters Barn. Just a five minute walk away is Folly Farm Zoo which is a large zoo in the top 10 zoos of the world. The Folly Farm fields back onto the properties rich with wildlife such as alpacas, horses and sheep, that can be seen from the properties. Make sure you visit Saundersfoot Beach or Tenby Beach for an afternoon relaxing on the golden sands, swimming in the clear waters or if you're feeling adventurous, try some surfing! The seaside town of Tenby offers a large selection of traditional Welsh pubs and restaurants for that fine dining experience, as well as a number of historic attractions such as the Tudor Merchant's House situated in a 1500's cottage and Tenby Castle. Use these barn conversions as your base for touring the very best sites of the Pembrokeshire coast.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
