Our second stay at this property.

Great location for walking the coastal path. Even though a heatwave was upon us, we managed to walk the path and enjoy. Used the strumble shuttle to get to Strumble head and walk back. Used the T5 or T11 to go further afield. Great not to use the car.

Lovely property, good size in a great location with fabulous views.

The property was clean and had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to either add blinds or blackout fabric to the windows because the curtains did not keep out the light and everyone was awake at the crack of dawn. Also, there are no additional toilet rolls so a family of 6 will get through the one per bathroom pretty quickly. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

This was our fourth visit to Mor Awelon.

We love the house and its setting, with wonderful views across to Fishguard. Its location is ideal for walking sections of the coastal path. The owner is always very responsive to any issues.

A very clean and well-equipped cottage.

The kitchen had all we needed for catering for our family of six every day. The welcome hamper, dvd selection, books and board games were a lovely touch. Great location in a peaceful setting with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

It was a great house and very well located and very clean .

The showers were excellent. It was lovely and warm and we appreciated that given it was a chilly week . We all felt mirrors in the bedrooms would have been good and possibly a few more personal touches to make it a little more homely. Possibly a refresh of bedding and larger towels. But please - these would only make very good accommodation even better

We loved our stay at Mor Awelon.

The views from the lounge are lovely and it was a great place to come back to after a day out. The little balcony was a treat. We just couldn't fault it in any way. We would highly recommend.

We were blessed with wall to wall blue skies for our stay. Only issue for people with mobility issues is the number of steps up to front door! A challenge! Many glorious beaches locally to visit. Would recommend!

The only property we have stayed in with the relevant lighter duvet on. Especially at this time of year. Fantastic location for walking the coastal path and use of the Strumble Shuttle. No need to use the car. Great week's walking and enjoying the area. Watching the seal's along the path when walking.

only thing i would suggest would be black out curtains in the bedrooms .

Had a lovely few days visiting relatives in the area and was an ideal base for us in this great location. Appreciate things need time to be fixed but the gas fire does need to be mended in the front room as it was cool at times. Maybe supply an electric heater until then ? That said we had everything we needed thank you

Wow!

The accommodation was immaculate and perfect, from its location to its facilities, we couldn't have asked for more. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds, the en suite in the front room was ideal, (we didn't realise there was also a bathroom on the first floor too until the day we left!) The place was cosy and warm, just what we needed after a day of walking along the coastal path in October. It was nice to spend the evenings in a comfy living space, too often with holiday lets they can be sparse, which isn’t what you’re looking for particularly with a winter break. The view was stunning, whatever time of day and whatever the weather. We explored everywhere from St David's (Cathedral and Priory) to New Quay with ease. - we parked at Porthgain (check out the Sloop Inn Pub here) and walked to the Blue Lagoon. - we also walked a circular route around Dina's Head, the pub/restaurant at the Pwllgwaelod Beach carpark we also recommend. - a boat trip from New Quay was brilliant. - Wolf’s Castle Hotel - 2 AA Rosette – we had a delicious Sunday lunch and went back the Friday evening for our meal. - Pop along to Tresaith Waterfall - New Port Beach was great for a walk, then enjoy a meal at the Castle Inn!

A lovely place to stay, so clean and fresh looking.

Very grateful to have all the instruction books to hand for the kitchen equipment. First time we’ve had an oven that was easy to use! The views provided interest even on grey, misty days.

Had a good week in this 'upside down' house.

The home is well equipped, comfortable and most importantly, very clean. As others have mentioned, we also would have loved black-out curtains in the main bedroom, but that doesn't distract from the property, we would definitely stay here again.

We love your property except the wind that comes with it.

Very happy stay. It would be even nicer to have a slightly bigger sink in the en suite. The tap does not seem to be appropriate for a small basin. Other than that, which is not a criticism, everything else is lovely. Very thoughtful too.

Everything about our stay was great.

From the accommodation itself, to the local village and the stunning views. The house was well maintained and very comfortable for all the family. Spacious and well thought out. My only negative, if I had to think of one. Was the front bedroom with ensuite. We were looking forward to a later start to our day after a busy few months at work. Unfortunately, there were no black out curtains so we were woken each morning about 5am. But otherwise, a perfect stay. Thank you.

A delightful, modern property with lovely views across the bay.

A clean, comfortable and well-appointed home with generously sized rooms throughout, Mor Awelon is ideally situated for exploring Pembrokeshire and the coast.

House was lovely, unfortunately we was not told about the building work next door that started between 7.

30 - 8.00 every weekday morning. This was very annoying. In the end we left 2 day’s early.

Just as good as we remembered.

Lovely comfortable cottage with great views of Goodwick Harbour.

Everything you need for a great holiday. The cottage is located up steep hill, which won’t be ideal for everyone to get out on foot, we however enjoyed this and got our steps in! The owners also left some lovely touches, including a bowl full of Easter eggs which my son loved. It provided some entertainment too, hunting for them on one of the wetter days of our break. Would recommend Mor Awelon, you won’t be disappointed!

The house was a dream, expecially the reading nook and balcony, which look out over the distant hills. The dedicated car parking was an added bonus, along with the seating area outside. Everything was excellent, no problems at all

A splendid house with good private parking.

It was clean warm and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need, especially the kitchen. There are lovely views of the sea and Rhos Wdig from the window seats. Tesco at the Parrog is less than 15 minutes walk and there are bus stops that are nearer. There is also much good walking available in the immediate area without the need to use the car. I would most definitely recommend Mor Awelon.

What a lovely property with everything you would need for a great holiday.

The kitchen has everything you would need to cook with. The bedrooms are quite spacious. The views are great. The place is a perfect location to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire. The only thing I would say and it’s not an issue / negative but the house is so hot even if the heating is off. We went at the end of October and had the doors and windows open most of the time. Great house and we will return.

We all enjoyed our family stay, from youngest to oldest.

The house is lovely with fantastic facilities, everything has been thought of, it’s clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more.

The views from the balcony are stunning. The property is very well equipped and very spacious. It’s a perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

A lovely property that was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need.

It was very quiet but had views over the bay. There are a lot of steps to get up to the property and if you walk into Goodwick it is a steep climb back up.The Rose and Crown was a good place to eat but you need to book. The fish and chip shop next to Tescos was really good. If you have an electric vehicle there are plenty of charges in the town car park. Lower Fishguard is very pretty and good for crabbing. A lovely stay.

Very impressed with welcome pack, easy parking and very quiet neighbourhood. We found plenty of local attractions such as Scolton Manor and Picton Castle. Also visited Tenby and St Davids.

It’s got everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The view from the house is beautiful. The house itself is clean and very spacious. We will be staying there again in the future hopefully. Can highly recommend.

Lovely property,one suggestion not a criticism,maybe put up some blinds or similar to upstairs windows for privacy.

Because it's an upside down property may be worth considering,fab views tho so get it in a way.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mor Awelon and appreciated the nice welcome basket.

The property was clean, stylish, comfortable and always cosy to get back to after an outing. It has easy private parking and a great location for coastal walks. It is well laid out with a back door leading straight into a utility room and a shower room if you come back from a wet walk. With beautiful views from the living area it is a lovely place to rent for a special occasion.

This was a pleasant house with nice views, a good shower, comfortable bed and reasonably equipped kitchen.

HOWEVER:- - the ensuite was VERY small and there was no room for toiletries - there was no stippling on the shower tray and no mat either to prevent slipping - there were no extra toilet rolls -there were cobwebs on the lampshades and window vents, and dust on the skirting boards - in the kitchen, there was a piece of food stuck on the tap, and there was nowhere (apart from the hob) to place hot pans/trays - the torch in the kitchen was not working; we were threatened with power cuts during Storm Eunice - we were requested to place dirty linen in a bag but no bag was provided - an extra key would be good so that one can be left in the key safe and people can never be locked out Obviously some of these points are more important than others, but overall they contribute to a sense of a property not well serviced

Excellent property.

Very comfortable, very well equiped and very clean. Great views across the town and bay. Only down side is that, because of the wooden floors, it can be quite noisy in the bedrooms when anyone is moving about in the living area upstairs. Overall a well presented property and a good base to visit this area of Wales.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mor Awelon, a stones throw away from Fishguard, overlooking the sea.

Spotlessly clean and fully equipped would definitely recommend to anyone. Our girls enjoyed the upside down house and the balcony. It’s been a wonderful home for the week.

We would agree with other reviews that Mor Awelon was comfortable with superb views, however; when we arrived a bowl of dirty water was left in the sink.

This is the first accomodation we have stayed in that didn't provide a welcome pack and we kept finding long black human hairs everywhere, upstairs as well as downstairs. There were also many cobwebs at high and low level. With Covid, this makes you wonder how clean it was. Overall the accommodation was as we expected and had a fabulous stay, it's the little things that sometimes spoil it.

Great location for visits to this part of Pembrokeshire.

Lovely almost new house with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable holiday. Fantastic position for views across the surrounding countryside and over the sea. Access to the house is via steep stone steps so may not be suitable for less mobile people but no problem for us. Spent a memorable holiday here with good friends so each main bedroom having convenient access to individual bathrooms made the house particularly suitable for our needs. There is a third bedroom with twin beds, which we did not use, so up to six people could be very comfortably accommodated here.

Absolutely beautiful view from the property, which needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. There is something for everyone to do in the surrounding area; Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak Fishguard; Cat on the Rocks for food with amazing view of Newport Beach; St David’s City for afternoon tea and breathtaking Cathedral; blue lagoon is a must for everyone. Accommodation is within walking distance to pubs, restaurants and harbour (Rose & Crown, the Shack and Goodwick fish & chips etc). Please don’t hesitate…book!!

A really comfortable, well equipped property, with views of Fishguard Bay from the balcony on the first floor.

The property is within an easy drive of St David and other picturesque towns and coastal areas. We enjoyed spotting the seal on Little town harbour next to Fishguard. Highly recommend great holiday.

The house is exceptional, it has been tastefully furnished with all the home comforts you could possible need.

We have had a lovely holiday there and would love to return at some point , everything we needed was provided and the cottage was modern yet homely . The only thing I would say is that if you are not mobile the stairs may be a problem . We absolutely loved this cottage we didn’t want to leave hopefully we can return at some point

Mor Awelon was a fabulous base from which to explore the North Pembrokeshire coast.

The house was spotless, spacious and comfortable with great views. Check in was straight forward. We would not hesitate to return!

The house was fabulous in every way.

The only thing that our son noticed however was that the clock in the living area had the wrong Roman numerals for the number 4 (had IIII rather than IV) - but this didn’t impact our holiday which was amazing - even with a couple of days of rain.

The owners had thought of everything, they provided a welcome basket of local goods, which was a lovely surprise.

They provided dishwasher products, washing machine tablets, bin bags, etc. This was an added bonus, as you always forget something. They provided a book case full of books and magazines to read. The property itself was stunning with a view to die for. I would definitely like to re-visit as there is still more around the area to explore and a week was not long enough.

It was very spacious, beautifully clean and had every facility you could think of and more. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The welcome basket was an unexpected additional touch. Can't think of absolutely anything that I would change. I just hope that people who stay there continue to look after it as it's a real home from home.

This was a fabulous property in a great location from which to explore Pembrokeshire.

The property was very well equipped, modern and clean and the balcony views over Fishguard Bay and the nearby hills were a great way to start and finish a day. There is so much to do in this area and a mix of beaches, castles, iron age stones, shopping, walks/hill climbs and crabbing made for a relaxing holiday with something for everybody. This was our 4th time in Pembrokeshire but we keep discovering more on each visit. We would have no hesitation recommending or returning to this property.

We were left a welcome pack which was delicious and Wendy went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Access by steps so maybe not suitable for everyone but otherwise a great place to stay. Definitely recommended.
