    “The location is wonderful!”

Very clean and modern with beautiful views and sounds of the sea! A few hooks on doors or walls for towels and clothes would be helpful. Not good for people with mobility difficulties though as there is a flight of stairs to climb to enter the property above the pub which serves delicious home baked pizza and good beer! Lovely coastal walks too. Would definitely return.

The property

Awel Deg is a delightful second-floor sea view apartment situated above The Ship Inn and just a stone’s throw from the beach in the charming village of Tresaith, Ceredigion.

With its stunning sea views, freestanding bath, close proximity to the beach, and designated parking for one car, this welcoming retreat is ideal for families or groups of friends, and two well‑behaved dogs are also invited to join the adventure. Ascend the external stairs and step into the apartment, where an inviting open‑plan living area greets you.

The kitchen, dining and sitting spaces blend seamlessly together, creating an easy, relaxed atmosphere.

Cook with ease in the well‑equipped kitchen, where sleek grey countertops and dark blue fixtures set the tone for preparing delicious meals.

Keep drinks chilled in the fridge with icebox, and when you’re done, simply load the dishwasher for a hassle‑free clean‑up.

Rustic wooden flooring and exposed wood within the walls add natural warmth and texture throughout. Gather at the wooden dining table, framed by exposed wooden brick beams and pillars, and enjoy sea views from the dining area window and village views from the kitchen window.

The sloping ceiling and exposed wooden beams add yet more character, giving the space a rustic, homely charm.

Beyond this, the sitting area offers two leather sofas—one of which is a sofa bed—inviting you to unwind after a day of exploring.

Another window reveals more sea views, creating a peaceful backdrop as you relax. When night falls, choose between two inviting bedrooms: a king‑size with an en‑suite, and a twin room.

In the king‑size room, wake to sea views and retreat to the en‑suite, where a copper slipper bath takes centre stage beneath rich dark blue tiles.

A basin and WC complete this indulgent space.

Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

There is also a separate shower room with a walk‑in shower, basin and WC for added convenience.

Refresh under the rainfall shower, surrounded by neat blue tiles that offer a crisp coastal feel. Step outside onto the enclosed roof terrace, where you can enjoy the fresh sea air.

With its furnished patio, it's the perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing with a good book.

This lovely apartment promises a memorable stay in the heart of Tresaith. Head down to the sandy beach just moments away, where you’ll also find the enchanting Tresaith Waterfall—particularly impressive after rainfall.

A short drive takes you to Cardigan Market Town with its historic Castle, where you can explore more than nine centuries of history on a captivating guided tour.

Go further back in time with a visit to Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, an open‑air museum offering an immersive glimpse into prehistoric life. Discover the beauty, magic, and history of Wales during your stay at Awel Deg.
