“I loved this cottage, I believe it was built in the 17th Century and has had a number of uses before being converted to a Holiday let.”

So all of that history has left it's mark making the building quirky, interesting and Fun. We were there in September and the wood burning stove was more than capable of heating the cottage. However as the mornings were becoming cold at that time of year the owner offered to turn on the central heating and that made the cottage very cosy and I have little doubt it could cope with coldest of winter nights. However as the mornings were becoming cold at that time of year the owner offered to turn on the central heating and that made the cottage very cosy and I have little doubt it could cope with coldest of winter nights. The cottage was well equipped such that all you need to bring is clothes and being out in the countryside it was very quiet and dark, I haven't slept so well in years. All in all a very relaxing and refreshing stay.
