“We had a really lovely week away at the Old Barn.”

The barn was perfect for us and our Golden Retriever. The views from the balcony are amazing and the barn was very cosy and warm. The location was great. The dogs next door also took a disliking to our dog. Whenever we had her on the lead to get her into the car they would run up to us and growl at our dog which was quite stressful as the owners were nowhere to be seen. They would also jump up as us, getting muddy paw prints on us. We just think people should be made aware of this if they bring a reactive dog with them.

Thank you for your lovely feedback – we’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the views! We’re sorry about your retrievers experience with the neighbours sheepdog. Just to reassure you, and any future guests the sheepdog is very friendly and will return to the farm if asked. We’ll share your comments with the neighbours. Thanks again, and we’d love to welcome you back soon! Property Owner
