Perfect place for a rest and reset!

Such a peaceful location and the animals were good company! Loved the terrace and the view over the valley. It’s a bit of a drive to the next supermarket though, come already stocked.

We had a great time àt the cottage with Katherine and all the animals.

It's so quiet and we had every thing we needed. I give it five stars. We might well use it as a base again next year

We recently stayed at Nant Glas over the bank holiday weekend.

The cottage itself is lovely — spotlessly clean, with a really delightful atmosphere — and we enjoyed that side of the stay. Unfortunately, the experience was let down in a few ways. First, the property is very difficult to find. Even following the instructions provided, the lack of phone signal made it hard to navigate, and when we called for help the host was dismissive and unwilling to assist. Second, communication throughout felt unwelcoming. Basic essentials weren’t addressed — we ran out of toilet roll and it wasn’t replaced, and there was no spare toothpaste or any offer of help. We were left feeling like an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. Finally, we left the cottage clean and tidy, yet were still charged a cleaning fee — which felt unreasonable given the condition we returned it in. It’s a shame, as the cottage has genuine charm. A little more warmth and support from the host would make a real difference to future guests.
