A spacious holiday for 6 adults and a toddler.

A bespoke ‘toy room’ particularly appreciated. Wonderful peaceful location c 1 mile to 2 magnificent beaches.

A lovely modern property with lots of space, well-situated for walks and the beach (Rhossili Bay) as well as wider exploration of the Gower peninsula.

The owner was very helpful, with details well in advance and quickly found and sorted out a left behind item. We would highly recommend it for a visit to Gower.

A great property it’s nice, safe and dog friendly In the garden beware of the trip hazard on the patio(slabs higher than the decking) upstairs the bedrooms are lovely and the view from the master bedroom are quite remarkable Because my wife and myself are in our 80s we were wary of the different levels etc the steps down from the kitchen into the dining room and also into the lounge and the split level hallway The kitchen was well equipped with loads of crockery and cutlery ( a real mish mash in the cupboards and drawers) the dining chairs were not very well sprung and the sofa’s were similar one of the 2 settees were not joined together (maybe had been a 3 seater originally but with the middle seat removed The other 2 seater the backs were possibly bent or not connected to the seats correctly and the 3 seater not very supportive We were a party of 7 adults 2 over 80 2 in their 60s and 3 in their 30s Even after all the above comments we all had a fantastic family holiday

Beautiful, spacious property located in a quiet neighbourhood, close to a lovely pub and playground, and within 20 minutes of most beaches in the Gower.

Fantastic house.

This was our 4th visit, and it won't be our last. The house is in a great location, you have walks on your doorstep and the beech is a 10 min walk.

Fabulous location, house abit tired in places, handles coming off doors.

Cleaners hadn't done a thorough job - I had to move sofa to close curtain and fpund loaads of sand and a toy underneath. Dining Table surface not cleaned properly. However, despite rain and wind we had a marvelous time. Sian so helpful with walk suggestions and tried most considering weather. Local Pubs are all really friendly and good food.

We had an amazing time at Atlantic Haven.

The location is perfect and the house is very well equipped and spacious enough for us as 4 adults and 3 children. The local beach (Rhosilli) and pub (Kings Head) are the best in the area. Thank you so much for the stay and if we visit the area again we will certainly look to stay here again.

You don't need to get on a plane to have a beach holiday.

We had a lovely week at the house in Llangenith, very clean and well equipped.

It was particularly appreciated as very dog-friendly with the enclosed garden too, she had a super time too. Super views over to the sea from the main bedroom window. Location in the village was very easy-to-find and it was very convenient (close to the good local pub) and within a mile or so of the wonderful local beaches, walkable on the lanes and paths or by car when needed too. Overall it was an excellent base and the area and especially the beaches and villages very much unspoiled, unlike many places. We knew Rhossili beach would be impressive (and so empty in June) but Broughton beach was a lovely surprise. Rhossili and Worms Head was another good place to visit, although we only walked from the pub to the coastguard station and back. Lots of horses and foals precariously grazing on the spectacular cliff edges! We found an excellent village community shop a couple of miles away in Llanmadoc, handy as a longer drive to bigger shops. This was our first visit to the Gower and the extensive notes from Sian really helped us explore the area well in the time we had.

Our second visit this year everything is good ,the house is clean and spacious, it’s in a perfect position for lovely walks and beaches.

The garden is secure which always makes for a relaxing holiday. We love the Gower and hope to visit again soon

We absolutely love this house its a perfect location.

Great location and ideal for exploring the Gower - we mostly enjoyed our stay.

However, the house was not as clean or well-maintained as we expected for a 'top rated' property. Many cobwebs and general grubbiness of doors, handrails, chairs, etc especially the lounge furniture - the house hasn't had a thorough clean for a long time. The 'well-equipped kitchen' was a mish-mash of equipment, some of it unclean, and the oven was filthy. Lack of general maintenance - broken fixtures, handles, etc. - and the soft and saggy mattresses need replacing!

Wonderfully situated, comfortable and extremely well equipped (especially the kitchen which literally has everything you could want, making us feel very much at home).

Little touches e.g. bubbles and Welshcakes… really nice. Heating very easy to manage. Spacious and clean. Fab view from master bedroom window. Really great base for exploring Gower. Thankyou xx

The property is an ideal base for exploring the western end of the Gower.

Lovely comfortable bedrooms and cosy living space make this a real home from home. With a lovely pub a few minutes walk away who could ask for more.

Atlantic Haven is a truly relaxing house to stay in.

A great location for beach walks, clean, light and very well equipped. Ideal for family holidays. We booked through Sykes who are very efficient but not easy to contact once the booking is made.

Amazing property, 2nd visit love the location with easy access to the best beach in the UK in Rhossille, lots to do with the kids and the dog loved all the walks around.

Pub in the village is perfect way to end the day, serving lovely food. Everything you need is provided so would not change a thing.

This is our second time we have stayed at Atlantic Heaven ,and we were not disappointed again .

It is very family friendly and has an enclosed sunny garden which we all enjoyed. All information provided was useful including ideas for walks, beaches and pubs. The location, within walking distance of fantastic beaches, is great and the house is very well equipped. We had a really wonderful holiday. Thank you.

Everything about this property was spot on for us.

We try to get away with our dog every 3 months and book holiday homes all over UK. We have an anxious rescue dog, so deliberately choose detached properties in quiet areas so he can relax as well as us. He hardly barked all week and thoroughly enjoyed the enclosed garden. This time, there was plenty of room to invite our grown up kids and their partners too. We rarely find a property that is so spacious, has fantastic views, secure garden south facing garden, walking distance to the beach and excellent pub around the corner - that’s served really good food daily. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, with plenty of crockery and cutlery for cooking at home as well. Sian, the homeowner provided us with excellent information and recommendations of where to visit a month before we left, which was really helpful. There is no local shop in the village, but we knew to be prepared and bring food essentials with us.

Very warm with a great heating system. Very comfy beds. Really quiet property very chilled out place. Big enclosed garden Highly recommend booking if you want a comfy relaxing holiday Pub is a 2 min walk and food there is gorgeous Beach is a mile walk to get there and all the other beautiful beaches are a 15min to 30 min drive

Good location and very comfortable dog friendly house.

Local area has lots of walks. Be prepared to meet sheep and ponies on the village roads (explains the cattlegrids) and take a torch as there are not many street lights.

We all really enjoyed our very sunny week at Atlantic Haven.

Perfect location for us and a beautiful sea view from the main bedroom. The house is spacious but cosy and very well equipped. It would be enhanced by the addition of mirrors in the bedrooms. The garden was perfect for the dogs.

It was our 2nd visit to Atlantic Haven so we knew the house and location would be beautiful!

Absolutely loved our stay, 5th holiday in Llangennith, one of our favourite places. The house has so much attention to detail, games, books, lots of sofa space and an unbelievably well stocked kitchen. Very spacious for our group of 7. The garden and deck are fabulous with huge BBQ. Great views from the lounge and upstairs. I would recommend taking a car that is not too low as the drive is quite steep and we did get our car stuck at one point. Would definitely recommend this holiday home, we all loved it!

We had a lovely stay at 1 Atlantic Haven.

The property was very clean, spacious and made a very comfortable base to explore the Gower peninsular. It had some thoughtful touches, games, maps, and books. We appreciated the very well equipped kitchen and large fridge freezer. We also appreciated the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer. My adult children loved how near to the pub it was. The footpath next to the house led us up to some lovely walks. The only thing I would change would be carpet in the bathroom, it however appeared spotless. One thing I wish I had realised was the rise up and down the drive. I managed to scrape the bottom of my car when I turned left onto the drive, so quickly learnt to turn around at the end of the close and drive on from the other direction. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Our second visit to this lovely spacious comfortable house for 6 adults and 2 small children with our 2 dogs Llangennith is such a great location with a great vibe and the beach has to be one of the best in the UK!

We were blessed with gorgeous weather and loved being able to BBQ and eat almost all our meals outside in the secure back garden We will definitely be back again soon!

Stayed 20th May 2023 for 1 fantastic week at Atlantic Haven.

As soon as you open the front door Atlantic Haven welcomes you, so spacious beautifully laid out with everything you need .The place was so clean and the view from the main bed room was fantastic .Garden laid out well with decking and seating .The beaches and walks excellent and just as recommended . The Kings Head a place to go whether dinning in or Takeaway. Use of the double garage, our car stayed in there and only used once for the whole week. Any questions or help needed only a phone call away and prompt answer.The family loved staying there and we are looking forward to staying again .Wendy

The house was wonderfully light and airy and the garden perfect for our dog.

The drive was a little awkward for two cars but we managed. The heating was adequate but wondered about the immersion being on all the time as there were no instructions for that. We were lucky with reasonably good weather and loved the surrounding beaches. A couple of woodland walks not too far away were glorious. Thank you for a very happy stay.

The house was as advertised - very comfortable with everything we needed for a great holiday.

In an enviable position , the view from the master bedroom is amazing. The Gower is an outstanding area of natural beauty - well worth a visit. The village pub the Kings Head does really good food - a real gem.

Lovely house in lovely village and, of course, on the beautiful Gower.

We particularly liked the walk up the hill to the north which gave spectacular views of the Loughor estuary and Rhossili beach. The house itself was well equipped and comfortable.

The house was just as described.

It's a large property, with plenty of space, even on rainy days. We were a family of 7, with 3 generations, including 3 teenagers and 2 dogs and all had a good time. There were far more useful items at the property than most we have stayed at e.g. plenty of plates, pots and pans for all kinds of meals, condiments, plenty of dishwasher tabs etc. There were lots of board games, the living room is lovely with lots of windows and light even on gloomy days. Communication with the owner was very good and she kindly decorated the house foe Christmas, so we had a very special family Christmas at the house. A bit far from a supermarket and not many activities nearby during winter months other than walking. We knew that and wanted that, so we're happy. I can highly recommend the house and the location, near beautiful Rhossili Bay, with lots of walks and a good pub on the doorstep.

Great communication by the owner, who is very helpful. Not sure there is space for two cars on the drive, they would have to be tiny (wasn't a problem for us with one car).Also worth mentioning there are a few steps throughout, including a few from the drive down to the front door (for which a handrail attached to the garage would be useful for those with dodgy knees etc. Otherwise great, recommended.

A beautiful appointed house, with lots of little touches to make our stay more comfortable.

Lots of extra bedding, towels, soap, loo roll etc. Emergency contact numbers (which we didn’t need) and good instructions for general maintenance and local points of interest. Lovely location, gorgeous house. Thank you.

An amazing property, we loved it in every sense from the comfort of the rooms which added to a very relaxed atmosphere, and a feeling of seclusion in a residential area was great.

Location wise it was perfect, from the short walk to Rhossili beach for surf lessons, or proximity to several longer walks on the various coastal path walks for our dog walking sessions. With a pub on your doorstep and campsite shop and cafe a short walk away you can't ask for more. I cannot raise any faults and would have no hesitation in coming back.

The property was exactly as advertised and just right for our needs.

It provided a comfortable, homely base for our 2-week holiday and was a perfect location for a memorable stay in the Gower area. All in all we could not have been more pleased with our choice of holiday home.

We were blessed with glorious weather all week The house is in a beautiful location and is very comfortable and spacious for 7 plus baby.

It has a well enclosed large garden which the 2 dogs enjoyed Well equipped kitchen and utility room. More garden chairs and a larger garden table would be a nice addition The main bedroom would benefit from darker curtains -we were woken at 4.30 every morning with sun streaming in through the white curtains-beautiful but… Overall an excellent stay and we are considering a return visit soon

Very nice cottage with great access to gower and easy walking routes to Llangenith and Rhosilli.

First time we’ve stayed in a more modern house in the Gower but was definitely a place we would return too. Please ensure gas bottle for bbq is full or semi full as when we came to use this it was empty

The hard floor downstairs worked well for the children and dogs and the decking/grassed area outside was exactly what we needed.

Fabulous holiday home so comfortable and relaxing.

The dogs adored the outside space, the sunny conservatory and the fire on chilly evenings. This was our first trip to the Gower and the beaches and coastal paths were spectacular. I would love to return but will take notice of your warning about bringing essentials with us as there are no shops not even to get milk. Quickly remedied by an Asda home delivery. Fabulous holiday

We very much enjoyed our stay - there were a couple of issues when we first arrived (ensuite toilet did not flush and some lightbulbs did not work/no replacements available) but we contacted the owner and the problems were attended to promptly which was much appreciated.

Overall the house is a beautiful place with excellent space for large families to spend time together in comfort. One thing we did find difficult was the lack of curtains and blinds in some of the bedroom windows & veluxes as this meant the rooms became light as the sunrose making it difficult (for children & adults) to have a bit if a lie in - this must be even worse in summer when dawn is earlier. Also one of the bungalows behind the property has a very bright security light which seems to come on regularly throughout the night (maybe animals setting it off??) and shines into the master bedroom through the uncurtained windows. But these are only minor issues, and we would certainly recommed the property to friends and family.

This is a fantastic property that exceeded our expectations.

Very well equipped - extremely comfortable - a home from home. We stayed in February so didn't get to enjoy the outside space - but that looks great as well - private and secure. The hosts are also brilliant - contacting us before we arrived and dealing with a minor issue very quickly. A brilliant week away.

My family had a fantastic stay at Atlantic Haven.

Seven adults, one toddler and our dog. The house was perfect and there was plenty of room for us all. Spacious winter sunny garden and from the master bedroom window we watched a beautiful sunset over the sea. On Sunday we had a delicious Sunday lunch at the local pub, vegan option was also available. We are already planning a return visit to Atlantic Haven. Perfect getaway.

Great location and house-kitchen needs more serving plates/dishes - masher!

Baking trays in oven - toilet handle in master bedroom needs replacing - struggle with flush - great place would come again but we do cook!

Great location and the owner contacted us to provide pre holiday advice and guidance. We would definitely stay in the House again and we would use Sykes again in arranging our Holiday accommodation.

Fantastic week with beautiful weather. Lovely and spacious house with gorgeous views from master bedroom out to sea. Playroom had lots of toys to keep our daughter entertained. We will be back!

We had a very nice holiday.

I had a little difficulty with my car bottoming getting into the parking area. On behalf of older people a non slip shower mat would be good and some of the lower bedroom windows would be better with a blind or curtains
