Westwinds is a lovely holiday cottage in a great location for exploring Tenby.

The drive is a little tricky to navigate at first, but perfectly manageable with care. The cottage has lovely rooms and comfortable bedrooms, and it was very well supplied with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome chocolates and fizz. The only small suggestion would be to provide some milk for a cup of tea or coffee on the first night. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend Westwinds.

.myself and my husband were joined by my son and wife and my daughter and her husband. ,along with my beautiful granddaughter ..we were celebrating my granddaughter 3rd birthday..we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place..stunning views ,,easy reach of Tenby and the house itself is beautiful everything you want for 8 people to stay there..amazing open plan kitchen,so we could all enjoy meals together ..great outdoor space for alfresco dining .The men loved the pool table and great times were had playing table tennis ..The owners have thought of every thing,to make the house enjoyable for everyone ..would definitely book again Thanks.

Lovely home from home, lots of space.

All beds comfy & well equipped kitchen. Only downside is the very steep narrow driveway that in a big car was a little tricky. But a lovely stay nonetheless.

Absolutely wonderful home !

Plenty of space, comfy bedrooms, all the cooking facilities you need. Very clean and well decorated. Great facilities, smart tv’s , pool room , table tennis and outside space. Family and grandchildren had a great time ! Loved Tenby and its local people ! Don’t be put off by walk into town, it’s very manageable. ( lose apple tree and it’s rotten fruit in garden ) ( would get rid of apple tree as soon as so many rotten in garden)

Westwinds is a great base for a week in Tenby.

The walk into town is a downhill 10 -15min walk but be prepared for the hill on the way back! One late afternoon (after a lot of walking on Caldey Island) we opted for a taxi back which cost £5.50. The accommodation is well equipped especially the kitchen. We did find that the living room was a bit tight for 8 people. The pool table was used a lot but unfortunately the weather didn't allow any use of the outside seating area or table tennis table, I'm sure in the summer months these would be a great bonus. One issue we did encounter is the very narrow driveway, we all have medium sized cars and great care was needed not to hit the brick walls on either side. I had organised a Tesco delivery for the first night of our stay but it didn't arrive, they stated they were unable to access, I can only assume this was because of the narrow drive access. Overall its a great house for a large group of 8 people.

We enjoyed our stay at Westwinds, Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast were perfect for a short break.

Westwinds was clean, comfortable and the facilities were excellent. It is a super family friendly holiday home with a lovely garden. The lounge would have been better if it was larger, particularly for winter breaks and all adult groups. We appreciated the choice of bathroom facilities, the comfortable beds also the chocolates and wine welcome.

May even bring the dog next time! Only tough bit was the steep driveway - best way to access is to go down to the roundabout and turn then come back - makes getting on much easier

We had a lovely holiday but felt that the walk into Tenby along the busy and dangerous Narberth Rd was not accurately described in the write up.

It was a hard up hill slog with children ,and took a good 20 mins on the return journey which we did most days. The house was roomy and spacious and benefitted from a Pool table and outside table tennis.. However the garden needed a good sweep up. On our last morning I changed the beds as requested only to find Soiled mattress protecters and no pillow case protecters on our pillows. I do have my doubts now as to whether the bed had been changed when we arrived. !!. We feel that when you spend a substantial amount of money on a holiday home it should be presented in tip top condition. However we did have a fab time.

Fantastic family home, where the owners have thought of everything.

The house is extremely clean and the standard of the beds, pillows and bedding top class. Never been to a holiday home so well equipped, even with the dishwasher on there was still more than enough plates etc, so often there is just enough ,but not here. The secure garden was well enjoyed by the dogs, we were lucky with the weather so we’re able to fully embrace the outdoors including the BBQ. The pool table was a great hit, and many a game was had between grandson and his grandad and a parents. The outside table tennis also is a great addition. Parking was a bonus and the ability to park one car at the bottom made turning easier. We were a little confused by the recycling but after a coffee or 2 we got our heads round it. Communication between Kirsty was easy and questions were answered quickly. Thank you for allowing us to stay. We WILL be back.

1st time visiting Tenby, holiday home was really lovely and comfortable plenty of room for us our son and our dog max.

Myself and my husband both 70 so the walk into Tenby and back took us a little longer than 10min each way

We were really pleased with all the facilities in the property.

The kitchen had everything you needed. The bedrooms were clean and plenty of storage. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool table. The large table was an excellent idea and the view from here was lovely. The extra bathroom facilities were great too. The position of the property was great and just a few minutes to go to the town. would book again in future.

Lovely accommodation well equipped.

A little bit to far to walk into town. We walked and then spent day on beach didn't fancy the 20 ton25 min walk home, but it did wear our lab out. However ideal spot to explore tenby and Saundersfoot. Would definitely return to this property again.

The house was lovely, very well equipped and well looked after.

Perfect for us as it had everything we needed. The location is great as it was easy to walk or drive to anywhere we wanted to go. We would absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone, its great for families as it has so much space. One of the best holiday homes we have ever booked.

Very cosy and comfortable property.

Sea views were distant. Access to Tenby was easy but being in our 70’s was by car. Narrow inclined driveway entrance but room to turn at the top as we were all in one car. No problems and would return again if it wasn’t for our ages. Thank you.

This was our third stay at Westwinds and, as previously, we find the property to be a real home from home.

Excellent facilities, great locality for dog walking, and easy access to Tenby. What is not to love about Westwinds! Definitely recommended.

Great property for family stay.

Grandsons loved the chill area on landing and the pool table, didn’t get to use table tennis as weather was a bit unpredictable. As long as they were happy so were we. Property was well equipped with everything you needed . Very clear instructions sent by email direct from owners which is a nice touch . Very happy customer.

We had a fantastic time staying at westwinds.

The property had everything we needed and more! The kids loved the pool table and PlayStation and there was lots of room that we could all spread out and not be in each other's space all the time! Perfect location too.

Just returned from our third holiday at 'Westwinds'.

A great location with first-rate accommodation in all respects, and as reported in previous assessments. Facilities at 'Westwinds' are excellent for a three generation family group. And there's so much more to see and do in Pembrokeshire. Tenby is a wonderful centre.

Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Westwinds.

The layout with two downstairs bedrooms was very useful for our group as some had mobility issues. The outside sitting area was lovely and as we were blessed with good weather we were able to make full use of it. Ample parking, walkable to centre of Tenby with it's many restaurants and beautiful beaches. Many thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The weather is out of anyone's control but the property and views provided a great escape holiday providing for old school couples an enjoyable week in comfort for a great get together. The drive is a wee bit steep but other than that would definitely recommend this property for friends and families.

Loved the location of the property and enjoyed our stay.

There were a few issues which may need to be looked at but nothing to too drastic to detract from a lovely property. Had a little difficulty locking the front door. Took a few attempts. May need attention. Hall/passageway looked clean so had been hoovered but would have benefited from a wash/steam clean Table tennis area was a healthy and safety issue with the wooden surrounding of the artificial grass around the table. This was definitely not safe for allowing much movement. This was a disappointment as we are competitive players and need lot of movement and the table tennis was a plus reason to book this property. Well equipped kitchen but would have like a wok and colander. Thankfully I had brought my own. Plenty of other cooking utensils/ plates etc . Everything else was great. The pool table was a hit with the men. The snug was great too. I personally loved sitting in the dining room and looking out to sea. The garden looked inviting but the weather was not warm enough to sit outside. Looked lovely with the solar lights too.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage.

Very spacious, comfortable and well looked after. Everything was well thought off and provided for. The welcome wine, chocolate and Welsh cakes was a nice surprise

Lovely property, very comfortable and clean.

We made use of both the table tennis table and pool table. A little further from the town that we would have liked but the walk did us good after a big breakfast cooked in the well equipped kitchen

Had a fantastic time at Westwinds, I love Tenby and have been coming for the past 15 years, we have stayed in many a different place, but nothing to this standard.

Already thinking about booking for next year!

We all had a lovely time… the children loved playing hide and seek as the house is a bit of a rabbit warren and even the adults got lost at times!

! The kitchen is well equipped for everything and the only rather petty thing we missed was a pastry brush ( I know… sad yes that we did baking at Christmas ) overall it was lovely and we all feel like we would return in the summer months to enjoy the garden as well

The property was fantastic, plenty of room for four couples to mingle or not to mingle!

The pool table was busy into the early hours each night. It’s a warm property, plenty of bathrooms, lots of outside space and not too long a walk into the town centre. Everything thought about by the landlords so very little to concern yourself with. Just enjoy the downtime.

Had a wonderful stay at Westwinds.

Great location, close enough to Tenby but also well placed to explore other locations. Our little sausage dog enjoyed her time there too, so many dog friendly places around! The house was incredibly well equipped and very comfortable (also spotlessly clean inside). We were a party of 5 (three generations) and there was more than enough space for us to spread around without getting in each other's way. Loved sitting outside in the evening on the patio when the twinkly lights came on in the trees. The upstairs tv on the landing was popular with the younger generation, leaving us oldies able to watch our choice of viewing in the lounge. The owner was also very welcoming and we all appreciated the lovely wine and chocolates that were waiting for us when we arrived. Definitely recommended!

Westwinds is an amazing property great for larger groups , plenty of space to spread out ,pool table is great and the table tennis table ,kitchen is well equipped,beds are comfy,lots of board games to choose from ,all in all a perfect property for a holiday .

Lovely spacious accommodation , good location , unfortunately several nails & screws were found on the driveway, nice complimentary welcoming package of wine & chocolates.

Great pool table & choice of games, plenty of cutlery, pots & pans etc . I would recommend this property & Sykes to my friends.

This was our second visit to Westwinds.

My commentary of August 2022 says it all. We, again, had a great time in superb accommodation, although on this occasion the weather was variable. Our three-generation group fully appreciated the location, design of the house and range of available facilities. First-rate. Who knows? We may well be back in 2024!

Westwinds is the best equipped property we have ever stayed in.

It is spotlessly clean and comfortable and provides many extras. I would highly recommend it.

Westwinds a great place to stay for a holiday in Tenby.

It is handy for the town centre and as a base for touring the attractions of Pembrokeshire. The house itself is well equipped and comfortable. The garden is attractive with plenty of outside seating for family and friends and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend a stay there.

A lovely property with everything you need for a stay in Tenby.

The walk into town is relatively easy with an incline coming back but nothing too strenuous if you follow the road to North Beach. Looking forward to staying here again

Beautiful property in an ideal location.

Lovely welcome pack on arrival too. The pool room and the cosy sofa and smart TV at the top of the stairs is ideal and a real bonus. Lounge is very cosy and comfortable too. All mod-cons and a really relaxing base. Would definitely recommend and I'd like to thank the hosts for their communication and friendliness.

We had a wonderful Christmas break at West Winds- it all suited our needs perfectly.

The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped , I loved looking at the sea view from the dining room, it was cosy and close enough to walk down into Tenby. Thank you- we definitely will be recommending to others .

An outstanding property that lived up to its brochure description.

It provided excellent facilities for our three-generation family group. Great lay-out that allowed privacy and group interaction, alike. The location was superb with ample parking space. Much appreciated outdoor facilities: the indoor pool table, too, was added feature that lead to inter-generational rivalry! Our visit was enhanced by excellent weather and further opportunities to explore the accessible Pembrokeshire countryside. An excellent choice of holiday venue.

Outstanding location and facilities offered by the owner of Westwinds - the fully equiped kitchen, washer/ dryer facilities, MESH WiFi and the SMART TVs were terrific, not to mention the pool table and board games thoroughly enjoyed on rainy days.

The location offered exquisite beaches nearby including a great oppotunity to visit the serene Caldey Island. We were within easy reach of supermarkets and Tenby (and nearby towns) offered great coffee shops and restaurants (signature seafood and fish & chips are delicious). Driving further afield offers more beautiful locations and beaches - do your research and enjoy this wonderful spot on our planet! One piece of constructive feedback, with two ladies in the household a hairdryer would have been handy!

This house is amazing, we had 4 adults and 2 children and we had lots of room.

The kitchen has everything you need including lots of space for your food. All the beds were so comfy and everything seems brand new and decorated lovely. My only criticism is the twin room upstairs was very warm as the window would only open slightly and we were there through the heat wave, luckily I took a fan for the children and they were fine. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers which were great and we also were grateful of the washing machine to use. The main fun was the pool table and table tennis we played so many games of Pool my 7 year old is a pro now. The house is in a great location, we drove to the South beach most days as we had too much stuff but the car park there was only £5 all day and took about 5 minutes drive. We did however walk into town a few mornings from the house and it was a lovely walk down and back. The drive is very narrow and steep so bare that in mind if you have a large car, a few times id cringe as I was turning in expecting to hear a scrape haha but we were fine, lots of room at the top of the drive though for 2 cars to turn round. Overall we loved this house, it is gorgeous and made our holiday amazing, thank you so much.

Property very comfortable and clean to a high standard, but if you have mobility problems like me stairs very steep so couldn’t go on PlayStation upstairs no grab rail in shower or anti slip mats also found it hard to join friends in back garden because of stairs to seating area also it would be a very hard and long walk to beach very hilly this feedback is just the problems I found as I was on crutches which I wasn’t when booked but property is very well equipped

Beautiful property!

Driveway is a bit narrow and tight to get up but other than that you can’t fault it. Property was very clean, spacious and the beds are extremely comfy!

We were very pleased with everything, it couldn't be better total comfort very impressed with facilities.

An absolutely beautiful property which was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a fabulous holiday.

The facilities were amazing and were of a very high standard, and the pool table in particular was a great feature. The centre of Tenby was a 15 minute walk with a Co-op situated approximately half way which we found very handy for picking up groceries on our way back. Tenby itself is lovely with amazing coastal walks and the beaches are simply stunning. We will definitely be returning to Tenby and would only book this property for our stay.

This was a fantastic place to stay, with great facilities to keep everyone entertained and happy.

The attention to detail for guests was great and it was a clean, welcoming and beautiful cottage decorated to a high standard. We loved our time here and would definitely like to return.

A beautiful house with owners that had thought of everything. Fantastic amenities and appliances. Fun games which included a pool table and table tennis. Beautifully presented rooms and bathrooms. Had a lovely few days at west winds.

Would definitely recommend this place, my son loved the pool table. Beds were comfortable and house was nice and clean.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the facilities were excellent.

It wasn’t far to walk to the beach/town but although it was ok for me it’s worth mentioning that it’s has a significant incline if you struggle at all with walking Going down was ok but taxis back for some.

Everything at the accommodation lived up to expectations.

Felt homely and very well equipped and organised and a lovely bottle of wine and essentials awaited us. We had 2 low mobility people in our party and the downstairs facilities made our stay accessible for all. So close to Tenby and the many attractions and beaches. Good information provided. Would highly recommend.

Loved this property.

Great spacious property with quality fittings. Everything was very clean and looked new. Ideal property for 2 families with space for everyone. Great location with only a short 10-15 minute walk to Beach and Town. Would happily book again

Westwinds is an absolutely fantastic property: private, and all amenities have been catered for.

Would definitely recommend. Good field at top of the hill for dog walking, and short drive to Tenby town and beaches. We definitely hope to revisit this beautiful part of the world.
