    Fantastic location. Great facilities. Roy, who owns the place, couldn’t help more. He even picked us up when our car broke down and took us to a garage. Would 100% recommend this place. A little gem in the Brecon Beacons. We will be back.

The property

The Brown Hare Shepherds Hut is a traditional-style shepherd's hut located in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park with its enticing dark skies, at the foot of the Black Mountains.

This home can accommodate two guests and two four-legged friends.

It has a fitted double bed with underneath storage for your personal items, a woodburning stove, and a table and chairs for indoor and outdoor use.

This hut, which has a light and airy interior, is the perfect place for a couple or two friends to enjoy a rural retreat.

Use the shared kitchen, which is well-equipped for cooking simple meals, and then freshen up in the communal bathroom, which is only a few steps from your new home.

Enjoy your meals outside while using the convenient barbeque, or enjoy a romantic dinner at the dining table inside the hut before relaxing in the armchairs in front of the woodburning stove.

When your eyes start to get heavy, pull back the covers of the plush double bed to get some rest.
