Great accommodation.

Exactly what we needed as a base to explore the area.Had all the facilities we needed.We loved the setting in the farmyard.Will certainly use again as we didnt manage to do half the walks or visits we wanted to do.

Lovely holiday accommodation .

Hosts very helpful without being obtrusive. Good access for anyone with limited mobility. Du the dog there to greet us in the mornings and waiting for us to return an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at Hill top farm everything was perfect even the weather it was glorious the cottage has everything you need and our hosts were perfect even the dog who greated us everyday on our return.

What fantastic hosts!

Nothing was too much for them, not that we had to ask for anything. The location is great for anyone who wants to explore Pembrokeshire as it is so central. We had a fabulous time and our grandchildren loved getting involved on the farm and with the sheepdog and hen. A wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Nice owners and great location to explore the area.

The cottage was very clean on arrival and the kitchen utensils were good. Furniture dated but the same in all similar Welsh cottages. Heating system was very good and warmed the cottage quickly. We had a few issues being the noisy plumbing when flushing the loo which woke our daughter a few times (so in the end we didn't flush after 8pm - not ideal!!) and the fact the master bedroom is very close to the main road which impacted on our sleep. If the bedroom was located where the kitchen is this wouldn't have been a problem so I guess if you are a heavy sleeper you will be fine.

This property was lovely.

It had everything you could ever need whilst on holiday including parking, kitchen utensils, washing powder, dishwasher tablets. Plenty of room in the house and lovely garden. The fresh flowers in each room were a lovely touch. Du the sheepdog was a big hit.

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage, The cottage itself was well equipped warm and comfortable even though at times the weather wasn't at it's best.

The owners were very friendly to as was their lovely sheep dog who would greet us every day. I would definitely stay again. Mark Atkinson.

This place is a little piece of heaven - calm, quiet and very comfortable.

Perfect for a break from the stresses of life, but convenient enough to get to any number of places - the beach - a town etc. The Mansfield’s are perfect hosts helpful and kind, whilst allowing visitors privacy. We will definitely be back!

Chose Hill Top Farm Cottage to accommodate my brother's needs as he is a manual wheelchair user, all facilities are on ground floor level and easy access for wheelchair at rear of property.

Property was clean and comfortable and hosts very accommodating. Only negatives for being the cottage is on a main road and can hear traffic in the main double bedroom, in addition double bed was slightly too small for us - there is ample room for a king-size bed should this be considered. Would not hesitate to recommend as an ideal base to explore Pembrokeshire, we dined out one evening at Black Pool Mill which was excellent and the Pub in Carew is worth a visit.

Lovely location, great hosts and nothing too much trouble. All facilities 1st class, grandkids love Du (Dee) the border collie and the adults appreciate the comfortable and homely surroundings. An ideal location for beach or country holiday. Very happy to recommend.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable.

The owners were very friendly. It was a very good place to stay especially as myself and my mum have difficulty in walking, it was easier to access the property from the patio area, which was suggested by the owner from the very start. I would recommend this property to friends.

Teresa & Pat are really lovely people and perfect hosts - ably assisted by Du the collie!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with kitchen utensils and extra bedding. Having two showers and a bath was particularly useful. One of the showers would be easily accessible for anyone who had mobility problems. Constant hot water was also appreciated. The cottage location is good for towns and beaches in both directions. Plenty of places to explore - beaches, castles and little towns. Would recommend Folly Farm for a day out with children, Solva Beach, St David’s, Poppit Beach, Cresswell Cafe in Fishguard, Pembroke Castle, Penralt Garden Centre and Pizzatipi in Cardigan!!!

A most enjoyable holiday ,the cottage was comfortable and very clean The owners Pat and Theresa could not have been more helpful.

giving us all the information on the area we were staying in .we had glorious weather and South Wales is really lovely ,first visit but will not be the last.Only 9 miles from Tenby and central for visiting all that area.I have to mention there sheepdog who greet and meets you,he is adorable. Nothing to complain about at all

We loved our stay at Hill Top Farm Cottage.

There was lots to do and see in the area and the weather was perfect. I would stay there again, infact we wished we could have stayed for two weeks. There were just a few things that would have made our stay more comfortable. The cottage needed a really good spring clean. Nothing too serious, just cobwebs etc and the plumbing was very noisy each time the toilets were flushed. The mattresses in the larger twin room need replacing as the springs were quite uncomfortable. But as I said, i would stay there again and would recommend to others.

Just had a amazing holiday at HTf the weather was brilliant the accommodation top notch pat Theresa and Du the collie were really friendly this is our second holiday at HTf this year all been well will be back in the next few months Keith and pauline

Hosts Pat and Theresa were very welcoming and the cottage is spacious, well equipped, with all you need to make it a very comfortable stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely property, spacious with excellent facilities. Handy for coastal resorts and lots to see and visit locally. Warm welcome from hosts Pat and Theresa and we all love Duu their child friendly Border Collie. An excellent place to stay and highly recommended.

The cottage was a lovely find, and one we will return to next year.

The owners were very welcoming, and we were often greeted by Du the gorgeous sheep dog when we returned from our days out! The property was very clean, and had everything a family with children could have needed, the extra detail of flowers in every room was a nice touch. The location of the cottage was easy to find, and a short distance from the beaches, and main towns. We will be back!

The cottage is very cozy, clean and amazing. Also Pat and his wife really helpful. We are definitely going there back .for tenby beach its only 20 minutes from cotage . Overall we had a lovely time and everything was perfect

We had a wonderful break at Hill Top farm.

The owners were very welcoming, including their gorgeous border collie 'Du' who we all loved. The accommodation was spacious and clean, kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. The location was perfect for us and is a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. I would highly recommend.

We were greeted with a warm welcome from owners Teresa, Pat and their wonderful dog Du.

An amazingly warm and cosy cottage was waiting for us to begin our holiday. A fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining/living room and three comfortable bedrooms, the double being an ensuite shower. A main big bathroom with a bath, seperate shower, toilet and a wash basin was more then adequate. The surroundings were very nice and quiet,  there is a road next to the property but the noise didn't affect our stay at all. Perfectly situated to access all the local attractions, Oakwood is just a Five minute drive away and Folly Farm Seven minutes. The local beaches and castles are also quite close by, Narberth town being the closest for shopping. We will be returning in the future and highly recommend this property. Thanks to Teresa, Pat and Du for making our stay so memorable.

An absolutely wonderful holiday cottage, one of the best, if not THE best we have ever rented.

Everything was 5 star as far as we are concerned, the beds and seating were comfortable, it was very clean and tidy, very spacious and the equipment provision was excellent, everything you would need for a family. The location is nice and quiet but not isolated, ideal. Patrick and Teresa are a very nice couple and there was always a welcome from the very friendly sheep dog.

Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, very spacious, very welcoming hosts, especially the sheep dog, our personal meeter and greeter and an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hill Top Farm Cottage.

The hosts are friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive and the cottage itself is well equipped and, I feel, actually rather more spacious than the photos perhaps suggest. Before our holiday I was slightly worried about the size of the main living area but we never felt remotely cramped in the main living area and the bedrooms are well-spaced apart with the main two rooms being a generous size. The separate utility room is very useful and helps to shut out washing machine and tumble dryer noise (the latter a godsend if you have children regardless of the weather!) and the main bathroom shower has good pressure. The cottage is a short drive from both the A40 and A477 and as such all of Pembrokeshire is very accessible. All in all, I would highly recommend Hill Top Farm Cottage.

Lovely well equipped cottage in an beautiful setting.

Pat and Theresa were very friendly and hospitable hosts. Ideal for families with children, sheep grazing in adjacent fields, chickens to feed and a fantastic friendly sheepdog (Ddu). Highly recommended.

A very comfortable cottage with all amenities.

A good base for exploring Tenby (20min.); Solva/St David's/Porthgain (40min.) Don't miss Cresswell Quay 10 min. away, plus a TRUE pub there : The Cresselly Arms. Dee the sheepdog was a great playmate for our grandchildren. The few breakages we reported were met with an understanding : "....it happens in every home..." and a refusal to let us pay the cost. Patrick and Theresa were good hosts; all in all a very good holiday.

Really friendly couple who did everything to make sure everything was spot on for us, great location to visit some really nice beaches in the area, also very close to Folly Farm, the cottage is also very child safe and spacious has a nice little garden on the side with a picnic table, we had a really nice stay at the cottage.

Hosts friendly and children loved additional extra of feeding chickens and checking for eggs . Farm dog friendly too ! Main bedroom tended to be noisy due to external traffic driving past which was a shame because other than that was perfect ! Would definately consider staying again and recommending to friends and family

The owners-Patrick and Teresa were most helpful throughout our stay.

Our twin granddaughters (18months) loved feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs. As did their 9yr old sister! Du - the sheepdog was so gentle with them and always had a warm welcome for us all. Very comfortable and spacious. Would highly recommend for families! Thank you for making memories for our family! ☺☺☺

Hilltop cottage a lovely clean and comfortable place.

.Really enjoyed our stay there Pat and Teresa and Dee the dog ,very welcoming. It is really suitable for disabled people. Will be visiting there again .

Cottage was incredibly well equipped, furnished and clean.

Everything you could possibly want was in the kitchen (plus some extra things!). The hosts Pat and Teresa were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming and there to answer any questions. Du the dog was just excellent - our three year old is very unsure of dogs and absolutely loved Du. The surroundings are beautiful, it was lovely having a wander about to see the sheep and waking up each morning to see the chickens outside. The cottage is absolutely perfectly placed to explore Tenby and the surrounding areas. We had an amazing holiday and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Our three children absolutely loved feeding the chickens and meeting Dee the sheepdog. Cottage had everything we needed for a week of beach exploring, including washing machine, dryer and even detergent! Thank you for a lovely break, we will be back next year.

Excellent facilities. Warm welcome from Patrick, Teresa and Dee. George particularly enjoyed ‘adopting’ the chickens for the week, feeding them and collecting the hens.

An absolutely lovely place much bigger than expected.

The children loved the friendly farm dog Du (pronounced ‘dee’) and it was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful spot. V well positioned for day trips across Pembs. Teresa and Patrick are lovely welcoming and the Cottage is spotlessly clean. Thank you!

It has all the comforts and conveniences required to have a memorable holiday. The owners Theresa and Pat were extremely welcoming and helped make our stay so enjoyable. We would heartily recommend Hill Top as a perfect destination for a family group especially if any of the party has mobility issues.

The cottage was exceptionally well equipped and a real home from home. Ideally situated for visiting for visiting Narbeth and Tenby and just down the road from Oakwood and Blue water if you have children to entertain. The owners Teresa and Pat were nearby if needed and the fresh flowers and Welsh cakes were much appreciated.

Very easy to find Hill Top Cottage.

Owners very pleasant nice welcome had a chat most days recommended a lovely walk for a first day which was excellent. Very good comfortable accommodation. Plenty of hot water, easy quick central heating system. We were very lucky with the weather sunny every day bar one which was cloudy with two hours of rain. The area around Narberth and the cottage is extremely pleasant and well looked after as is the whole of Pembrokeshire. With its coastal path, rivers, gardens, castles, pretty villages and wonderful beaches it has so much to offer for a relaxing holiday and the people we met just encouraged us to have a good time.

No everything was fine and the hosts were very good.

There wasn't quite enough wood for the log burner on the first night but that could be because we lit it early and kept it going for novelty value until nearly 11pm. I'm sure if we had asked for more logs they we would have been provided with them so not a problem at all.

It was just what the family wanted very happy with everything .

There are plenty of places to visit and places to eat nearby. Teresa and Pat (the owners) were very welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed feeding the chickens, and we all loved Dee. We would love to stay again at some point in the future. Highly recommended

A comfortable cottage in a lovely part of the world.

Loved the personal touches such as the flower arrangements in every room and the welsh cakes provided. The only draw back is the location on a busy A road. Although inside the house it was not a problem, when you want to sit in the garden on a lovely warm day the noise of the traffic does somewhat spoil the experience! Special mention to Dee the dog who always welcomed us back after a day out.

We had our 90+ year-old mothers with us.

The cottage was exactly what we needed: completely level floors; accessible shower/wet room; lovely views out and paved outside seating. The Pembrokeshire coast provided spectacular views. The whole week was a huge success.

Accommodation very comfortable & well equipped.

The cottage is very spacious, with three bedrooms, one has an en suit, and are all fitted out with wardrobes.

The cottage's utility room is kitted out with lots of extra equipment that is conducive to daily living. The kitchen / lounge is wonderful as you can prepare food and be with the family. The location is excellent as you can access the whole of west wales easily, Saunders foot and its sisters beaches are only 15-20 mins in the car. Farmer pat and Teresa who own the property are very happy to help if there are any problems, and if you have small children will teach them how to look after chickens, giving them some responsibility during the course of your stay. The location is very quiet, there is the hum of the road but apart from that it's perfect if you had a day in the garden. Their dog is so friendly and plays a big part in your stay as he meets and greets you when you arrive from days out. We will be booking for next year so I could not really recommend it enough.
