What a beautiful cottage!

In a fantastic setting, peaceful and pretty. Close enough to Llandrindod for shops but rural enough to be quiet. Cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We had a friendly welcome from Tracey and a gorgeous dog! Hot tub was perfect, as was the kitchen and bathroom and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Owl Cottage and we will definitely be coming back.

The Owl cottage had everything we possibly needed for our 4 day stay.

It was spotless clean and the bed was really comfortable. The view of the valley is just stunning. If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the one. We’ve had the longest sleep ever. Soak up in the hot tub, make a BBQ and forget about everything else. All shops and restaurants are 5 min drive away in case you need anything. The owners are very friendly and happy to help if you ever need them. The eggs were delicious, and we are in love with Bell, the sweetest and loving doggy. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for having us ☺️

We visited this cottage back in 2020 when my little girl was just 3 months old, we had the most loveliest of time.

The cottage was just the right size for us, and everywhere was so lovely, clean and well kept. I then came back this year (2024) with a couple of friends as when we were deciding on where to go for our relaxing break away, I immediately thought of owl cottage. So we booked it again, and once again had the most fantastic time. It was near Christmas time and the cottage was decorated with Christmas decorations and a beautiful tree. The hot tub is a bonus too! Which Tracey does a fantastic job of keeping on top of treatment each day. We’ve actually decided to make it our yearly break away now, although in 2025 we hope to visit twice, and bring my little girl back 5 years on :)

A lovely stay in Owl Cottage, which was perfect for what we needed.

Tracy was welcoming and attentive, quickly sorting a minor issue we had with the WiFi. The photos do not do the cottage justice - the location is remote and quiet with stunning views, and although it is the mid-terrace property, the garden is private and not close to the neighbour's hot tub/social space. 10/10, would recommend!

The cottage was very clean & well presented for our arrival.

Kevin and Tracy are friendly & happy to share their knowledge of the best places to go. I loved the close proximity to walks with the most breathtaking views.

Comfortable and relaxing. Excellent owner who had the time to chat. My second stay on this farm and I hope to return next year.

Fantastic cottage, lovely location, helpful and welcoming owners.

Only thing I would say is there were no additional bin bags in the property and no dishwasher tablets. We had bought our own tablets so it wasn't an issue, and would have asked if we needed some. Otherwise, a perfect short break and we loved watching the lambs playing in the fields. Thank you.

Everything was perfect!

We had the best stay at the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed the very efficient hot tub which relaxed us at the end of the day.

We felt very at home there and the accommodation clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for touring but sadly we only stayed for 3 nights and missed a few key sights where we really wanted to go but hope to return again soon!

The property was lovely.

The hot tub was superb. The tv signal kept buffering/stalling but that could be down to the signal. Beds lovely and comfortable. We only booked last minute due to the weather forecast, so was super expensive. Still loved it.

Superb standard of cleanliness and beautifully decorated. Excellent communication from owners as appropriate, and good facilities locally. For us, the best feature was the wonderful, well-maintained hot tub. Stunning scenery to view whilst relaxing in the warm water. Owl Cottage is highly recommended, fabulous value for accommodation of such a high standard.

Bit late to leave my review but we stayed here for a week in August with our daughters.

Absolutely spotless cottage, amazing hot tub, lovely owners, Comfortable beds, comfy sofa - all mod cons!! our girls loved the goats and chickens too and we would 100% stay here again…in fact I think we will be booking next year!

Probably could of done with an extra sofa as there were 4 people.

This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed.

Our children have already asked multiple times for us to rebook before even getting back home. We visited the 4 waterfalls on the way which is a must. The accommodation was so clean and the owner so friendly. The peace

Perfect cottage to escape to the countryside.

Amazing views in every direction and so peaceful. Beautiful interior and very well equipped, absolutely everything you could need is available. Obviously the hot tub is an added bonus but nice little surprise extra touches such as Welsh cakes, tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus washing machine and dishwasher supplies. Great location for easy access to local must sees such as Elan Valley!!

! We have thoroughly enjoyed our Easter Weekend at Owl Cottage the weather has been brilliant. Tracey & Kevin’s property is excellent, good quality furnishings, peaceful setting, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds and only 10 mins drive into Llandrindod Wells. The location is central allowing easy access to explore many attractions in Mid Wales. We visited Aberystwyth, Gigrin Red Kite Feeding Centre, Devils Bridge to see the famous 3 bridges and waterfalls. There are also numerous walking paths directly from the front door of Owl Cottage, we are planning to return because we only managed to fit in one day of walking. Overall score 10/10

Wonderful trip, just what we needed and was such a beautiful property in gorgeous surroundings!

The property was decorated and equipped with exactly what we needed for our short stay! Hot tub was the star of the show despite the rain!

Immaculate Cottage in fantastic surroundings we would highly recommend for a chilled out break and the Hot Tub was the icing on the cake.

Beautiful and modern cottage - far exceeded what we were expecting.

The garden with the hot tub in was fantastic and the views were amazing - we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset over the hills in the hot tub. Nearby facilities in the town were great and the it is within driving distance to the Elan dams which are a must see in the area. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone.

Cottage was wonderfully presented and gave a perfect base to start our Welsh adventure!

The facilities were amazing. The location was very nice and not far from the small town. The owners were lovely and only a phone call away if we needed any help. Would definitely recommend this cottage again

The place was spotless

Owl cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Garden area was perfect for our dog to run around, hot tub was fabulous we didn't leave the cottage for the 3 days we stayed.

The cottage is excellent with superb views over the countryside and a lovely contained garden which kept our Norfolk Terrier from straying.

Inside was immaculately clean and had all the utilities we needed and outside, as an added bonus, there is a hot tub which didn't feature in the original description as it is newly installed. Tracy & Kevin are really friendly and helpful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Within striking distance are country pubs with beer gardens and a variety of takeaways. As far as outings are concerned we really enjoyed a trip around the Elan Valley and its reservoirs and Aberystwyth which has always been a favourite. Missing the sheep, chickens, goats, Red Kites overhead and Bella the dog and will hopefully return soon. Would definitely recommend.

What a brilliant place to stay all home comforts and so much more.

Lovely welcome of welsh cakes which were lovely. Owl cottage was more than we expected ... everything we needed was catered for .. very clean and so very comfortable. The garden area was so peaceful to be in and the scenery was just amazing. The only negative is we didnt book long enough so now looking forward to booking next year in may. If you are looking for a break we couldnt recommend owl cottage high enough. David and Linda Hartwick

Excellent accommodation, has everything in the cottage that you needed.

Perhaps a coat rail/rack to hang wet coats (as was quite wet when we visited). This is no way detracted from the high standard of refurbishment of this cottage. A beautiful dog safe garden to the rear, where garden furniture provided in order to enjoy the beautiful scenery around. All in all a wonderful place to visit. Tracey the owner was helpful but unobtrusive. Will certainly be booking again.

The owners Kevin and Tracy were very helpful without being intrusive.

The accommodation was spotless and the beds were most comfortable. We had a lovely 4 day break with our little dog Molly. This cottage met our expectations well done to the owners. The views and sheep were an added bonus as it was on a working farm.
