Had a lovley 2 night stay at Red Kite.

Wonderful,peaceful tranquil location. Friendly ,acomodating hosts. Highly recommend this place if u would like an escape from it all.

Beautiful place very quiet and peaceful. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

This cottage was one of the cleanest and best equipped that we’ve used over the years.

The hosts were very helpful and the location was delightfully private. We stayed over the New Year with our daughter and family who were in Kingfisher Cottage. We all enjoyed our stay - the games room proved particularly useful! We all hope to return.

First class welcome and advice throughout our stay. Very remote location which suited us. The garden was beautifully kept and a delight to wander through. Can't recommend this cottage or owners more highly.

Booked short notice but couldn't have been better.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. The games room is a superb 'extra'. Pool table in excellent condition, darts provided for both the adult board and the magnetic one for children. Also a huge range of games to take out for all ages. Only problem to note is access via narrow and twisty lane, but no problem for a confident driver. We would definitely come here again!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location.

It had everything we needed and was a superb base for visiting both the South & West Coasts. Perfect for dogs with extensive grounds and friendly hosts on site. Thoroughly recommended!!

This cottage and location were absolutely beautiful.

BUT, they have a big problem with damp in red kite. Though there was no mould visible, as soon as the door was opened the smell of musty damp hits you and it never left. We must have stunk for the whole ten days we were there because when we opened our cases when we got home the smell of it was severe. Everything had to be washed. I don't know what the answer is, other than to find the source of the damp. It's a very old building and could be rotten joists or something similar. It's very unpleasant which is such a shame because as I say the place is lovely. Even our bread that was stored in the bread bin provided, was actually wet and soggy, as was some of our food stored in the cupboard in the kitchen.

Had everything you needed. Was comfy and warm. Dogs loved the garden so did we.

Everything has been carefully considered and the hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. The use of the extensive and beautiful garden is a real asset for guests with dogs and provides early morning/late evening walks from the door. One of the best places we have stayed...

The cottage had everything that you could ever need .

A real home from home. It was lovely and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The walk up through the woods was lovely and something our dogs always enjoy . The owners were very friendly and are onsite just incase there is anything needed including climbing into a river to retrieve my glasses .

The directions provided helped us to find the cottage easily. The property owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, as was the lovely Milo. The cottage was beautiful and so cosy and there was lots to explore in the gardens and the children had lots of fun in the playroom. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, just what we needed. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

This was a lovely quiet spot for those wanting to get away from it all and a good area to explore the wonderful variety of beautiful beaches and castles along this part of the coastline.

We took our two dogs and the location of the accommodation was ideal for them with 5 acres of private woodland to wander through with hidden pathways alongside a stream. The woodlands walk had an amazing variety of ferns flowers and trees and it was so calming to walk through this each day. Accommodation near to St. Clears with its own history a good Spa shop and a variety of takeaways and pubs.Wished we could have stayed longer as so much to explore.

Very clean, comfy beds, kitchen well equipped though fridge freezer far too small.

Nice area but very isolated which involved a vety long drive to anywhere. Weather was a bit hit & miss and the cottage was cold and the only heating available at the time was a fan heater & an oil filled radiator. Tge house smelt damp & clothes hung in the wardrobes felt very damp after a coupke if days. Adrian & Anita lived on site but kept a low profile but could be easily contacted if needed.

We had a wonderful week at Red Kite.

Adrian and Anita have done an excellent job of providing everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. It was lovely to be greeted with freshly baked biscuits, milk and tea and coffee facilities after our long drive. The information provided about the local area and amenities was comprehensive, and really helped with our decision making about what to do each day. Adrian and Anita were also on hand to share their experiences and wisdom. The extensive garden is superb - very peaceful, and early morning walks around it with the dogs, was relaxing and set a tone for the day. Such much to see in the garden and the different pathways gave varying aspects of the garden. If we head back to South Wales, we wouldn't hesitate to rent Red Kite again, and will definitely be recommending to our friends.

Woodland adjoining cottage was amazing. Cottage was spot on with everything you needed also very dog friendly. Hosts were very accomodating and helpful. On arriving and departure don't forget Milo the resient dog he is amazing. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage, so peaceful and pretty.

There was lovely walks for the dogs and the kids absolutely loved the games room.

We had a very nice short stay during the Christmas holidays.

The cottage was very clean and well presented. The owners were very well organised, with an abundance of easily accessible information on the local amenities and attractions. Although we only had a brief stay, we managed to visit Laugharne and Pendine beach.

I had a great week away in this spacious, comfortable property.

We had some very frosty days so I appreciated the excellent heating. I really enjoyed the woodland walks on the doorstep, a perfect start for the day. Thanks again.

Had a great weeks stay at Red Kite.

Adrian and Anita had everything ready for our arrival and even baked us biscuits! Cottage was spacious and equipped with everything we needed and more. Our thanks to the owners who have clearly spent lots of time and an enormous effort to provide guests with information about the area and places to visit. The dogs had a great holiday exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline beaches and walks which we wouldn’t have found without the clear and concise directions. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous place to take your dogs for a quiet break and the owners really made us feel welcome and couldn’t be more friendly or helpful.

A beautiful holiday home from home and lovely hosts too.

Red Kite is the perfect get away but still close enough to reach the quirky walled town of Tenby with its golden beaches and the beautiful Gower Coast. The cottage has everything you could possibly need whether staying for a short break or a 3 week retreat. Adrian and Anita have thought of everything and the games room has folders full of all the most useful info about the area and books to cover ever interest in wildlife from the birds to flowers and beyond. This is a wonderful place to stay and Adrian and Anita have put everything into making you feel at home. Do not delay in booking Red Kite or you will be disappointed.

Our stay at the red kite cottage was the perfect, much needed relaxing escape in the beautiful countryside of South Wales.

The owners gave us a nice warm welcome, and we were given a vast amount of information on the best things to do in many areas of South Wales and the history of the cottage. We immediately felt at home, as we had everything we needed to feel most comfortable. All the facilities provided in the cottage were attentive to our needs for the perfect holiday, and the owners were quick to respond to any requests we had. The owners are incredibly caring and friendly, truly lovely people as they had planned everything out so carefully so we weren’t missing anything. The surroundings of the cottage were breathtaking, with a lovely riverside walk through a woodland area and a stunning garden. The cottage location was convenient too, being only 30-40 minutes away from the beach and Tenby, while also being close to many other attractions around south wales. We left feeling relaxed and only wishing we had spent longer. Definitely returning again if we wish to stay in wales. Thank you Anita and Adrian for this wonderful experience!

The owners are helpful and very friendly.

Everything that you would need in the cottage is there, which is very comfortable and done to a very good standard. The folders that they have put together are excellent. They tell you about places to visit and where you can go for dinner etc. If there is something that you need and isn't in the folder, they go out there way to help you. I would most certainly recommend to anyone

We had a superb last minute much needed break at Red Kite.

Anita and Adrian were wonderful hosts. Always around for a friendly chat but never intrusive. The walk up by the river is idyllic and our little dog loved it. The welcome pack was very welcoming after our long journey down. There is lots of information about the surrounding towns and places of interest but we were content to while away a couple of days relaxing at Red Kite, although we did get out to Newquay, Tenby, St Clears several times for provisions and Saundersfoot a couple of times. I would highly recommend Red Kite particularly if you have an electric vehicle like we do because charging points are few and far between in the country areas. We would love to visit again!

We had an enjoyable winter holiday with our two dogs - all the comforts of home.

They revelled in the woodland trail and we enjoyed the natural spring flowers. Some helpful fittings to add to the well-equipped accommodation, made this a location we would recommend. Although the access roads are a challenge - it is the beauty of SW Wales in all its 'glory'. We found several good pubs and glorious beaches no more than 45 minutes drive. Thank you.

So my mum, the three dogs and I deiced to take this out as we needed a break from everything, and honestly the hosts were amazing, not only were they friendly and professional but they provided all the information you could need in a lovely welcome booklet, baked us cookies (Recipe is in the booklet too), even items you didn't plan for like Vets & garage location & numbers.

A couple days before they gave us some detailed instructions to avoid a road block that would have caused a lengthy delay. The areas is lovely and situated within 30 minutes of a lot of beaches, walks towns, castles, etc. if I was to point out anything I could suggest for improvement, it is to have an enclosed garden area we can take the dogs into to let in the mornings and evenings. but with the trail literally right outside the door it was a very minor thing and I'm stretching to find anything to criticize here. Overall absolutely fantastic, heck they even have welly/boot stands outside your door (Protected from weather) to dry them off on after a long hike!

Red Kite was one of the best holiday cottages we’ve stayed in, the amenities and information provided were exceptional.

Incredibly clean and much more spacious than the photos suggest (they really don’t do the pace justice). The gardens were stunning too and Adrian and Anita were wonderful hosts. The location is great, tons of attractions within a 30 minute drive. We won’t hesitate to come back again, thank you so much.

We wanted to get away from it all and this property gives you that and more. The gardens are fabulous with the riverside walk being the highlight. The accomodation was immaculately clean, comfortable and had everything that you need. Our hosts provided very comprehensive information about all the local amenities, walks, tourist attractions and beaches. All in all, couldn't have asked for better .... thank you Anita and Adrian x

What a wonderful place to stay.

A peaceful retreat in the countryside. The accommodation was perfect! The bedroom with three single beds is very large. Plenty of room for each of the kids to have their own space. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything you will need to prepare a family meal. The living space is comfortable with a tv and DVD to keep everyone entertained. The dining table offered a great space for games from the games room! The garden is beautiful, our 6 year old loved exploring the various pathways. The bird feeders attracting many species including a squirrel. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. Adrian and Anita were welcoming and present when needed but never intrusive. They have established a fantastic set of local resources in the games room. We were able to plan days out using the combination of maps and leaflets. We were so lucky to find this gem and will certainly be returning. Thank you.

Anita and Adrian made us feel very welcome and we're very informative.

Home made biscuits were a lovely surprise and also the leaving gift of local Welsh cakes and chutney. The cottage was spotless and cosy, the garden was stunning. It was in a good position for exploring the area and we visited lots of fabulous places. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Kite, exactly what was needed, rest, recuperation, in beautiful surroundings.

The cottage is very well equipped and homely, the bed was nearly as comfortable as the one at home !! Hosts Anita and Adrian were lovely, the work they have done on the cottages and the gardens and beautiful walks are wonderful. Ideal spot for exploring Pembrokeshire, will definitely recommend and hope to return again very soon.

The owners Anita and Adrian were so lovely and helpful and their dog Milo was the sweetest, will definitely make a return.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything for home living including a nice large kitchen(with a little seating area- great for breakfast), separate lounge and dining area room and 2 large bedrooms (the second bedroom had 3 single beds). There was a decent sized bathroom and a second smaller room with toliet and wash basin (which our daughter loved!) The owners went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this cottage and cannot wait to return! Oh and for those garden lovers the grounds are amazing with a beautiful Riverside walk too.

This was a beautiful cottage in a idyllic setting .

The owners Adrian and Anita and Milo the dog were so welcoming and helpful during our stay . Tea coffee and home made biscuits greeted us on our arrival such a delight. The cottage has local paths on site that take you alongside a river and you can walk up into the forest exploring. Our dogs loved it and so did we. You are local to all good places to visit within Wales but we preferred to stay on site only popping out twice to Carmarthen and Laugharne . We highly recommend this delightful place and we plan to return . The cottage has everything you need so cosy we had such a relaxing week .

We stayed at Red Kite, Cwm Bach and the owners Anita and Adrian are fabulous and friendly.

And Milo the Labradoodle...The facility is top notch and the gardens and surrounds amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to anyone wanting peace and tranquillity in Wales, close to all the surrounding amenities.

Lovely place great people so helpful and friendly. We went in Covid conditions and the thought a preparation to keep us all safe we very good. No worries or concerns. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful location but great options of beautiful countryside all around. Beaches available within 40 mins or so to the north or south. Could not recommend this enough. Great value great accommodation!

Just Perfect!

We would highly recommend Red Kite to family and friends.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the games room is a bonus it has plenty of information to visit places etc. The woodland garden has a lovely walk and snowdrops and daffodils are ready for flowering. The area is amazing however there are lots of narrow country lanes we were fortunate as it was quiet. The cottage is well equipped and plenty of room for a family and dogs. We hope to be back when the days are longer, our dog loved the beaches it isn’t too far away. We would give Red Kite a 5 star.

This is our second visit to Red Kite and we loved it, super dog friendly and well kitted out for walkers.

On our last day I had lost the van key to get us home!

Adrian and Anita couldn't do enough to help us find it which I did 2 and a half hours later (it was in the van under a seat!!). Whilst looking I rang the RAC and as I wasn't insured for key loss it would have cost me £306.00!! I was also told that Adrian and Anita could let us spare beds in there property as the 'key man' couldn't do the job until Sunday if I had needed him!! What a lovely couple. We really enjoyed our stay at Red kite cottage.

Adrian and Anita made us feel welcome and they we're very friendly. We loved the garden walk, which takes you along the river. The location of the cottage suited us as there was plenty of places to see and things to do.

Lovely, clean, comfortable cottage, peaceful and very rural.

Maybe too ‘middle of nowhere’ for some people but we loved watching the birds, butterflies and bats and exploring the gardens. Was a bit of a drive to reach anywhere but soon got used to the roads. Blessed with good weather to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. Enjoyed our only wet day watching DVDs and playing board games from the extensive collection available at the cottage. Would definitely recommend this property and a big thank you to the friendly, hardworking owners!

The kitchen was fabulous and had everything you could think of. Information about the local area and places to visit was all on hand and Anita & Adrian were always helpful if you needed anything. Milo was lovely too; Could not ask for a better doggy holiday!

This holiday cottage is way underestimated and the pictures do not do it justice.

If you want a get away place just to recharge your batteries for the stresses of work and life in general, this place is for you. The cottage has everything you could wish for and more. Adrian and Anita keep the cottages perfectly and go that bit further to provide everything for a pleasurable stay. Nothing is to much trouble. Home from home. Well done.

Red Kite accommodation was lovely; really clean and warm.

The owners have thought of everything to ensure that you have a good holiday. The gardens, stream and woodland are very well kept and accessible. They have provided a games room, with a huge amount of local information booklets and maps, and an enormous selection of games and puzzles to keep young and old entertained in the event of rain. Even the weather was kind to us, with sunshine every day. It is very remote, and not in walking distance to any pubs/shops/civilisation, but that suited us. The owners were on site at all times, so if we had any queries, they would be able to help, but were not intrusive. In short, we had a lovely time, in a wonderful cottage in a lovely area, and would recommend it. Only drawback that I can see, is that if I had young children, I would be worried about the stream, but that didn't worry us oldies.

This is a beautiful spotless cottage and surroundings theres not many places that would welcome three German Sheppards the walks are amazing our dogs loved the walks I would sit in the living room with the window open just listening to the birds its peaceful and thats just what we wanted I have looked to book for the end of july and its booked up very sad for me but just goes to show how popular the place is the games room was perfect pool darts etc the owners are so welcoming cant wait to see you all again thank you very much Mark

What can I say?

The cottage was beautiful and very well erupted,the garden and the woodland area is absolutely spectacular and the owners(Anita and Adrian) were the most warm and welcoming couple. It’s a little gem away from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day life. We will certainly do our best to go back but we hope to get there in late spring so we can fully experience the stunning garden!

The owners have put a great deal of thought into what guests will want to do while staying.

Spent a week in July at Red Kite what a wonderful place it is and in such a nice quiet location.

What can i say about the owners absolutely amazing they were. Nothing was ever too much of a problem for them they made you feel so welcome and having milk and tea bags on arrival such a nice touch. Would highly recommend staying here. And most places are not that far away that we drove too. We will be returning in the future

Would like to say for my first visit to Wales this was an amazing holiday.

.Mr and Mrs Jennings welcomed us and where very welcoming.We entered the cottage Red Kite and straight away I was overwhelmed how beautiful it was and we had a card that's had a lovely message in and we had fresh cookies and also had tea coffee milk was provided..the cottage was lovely and clean and had absolutely everything from DVD to very comfy beds.We used the games room which is provided and had lots of board games darts snooker table it also had washing machine and tumble dryer with cloths horse and also soap powder was provided.As I said this cottage had everything and much more can not thank Mr and Mrs Jennings enough.

Red Kite is a delightful cottage, in a beautiful location with a wooded riverside walk to the pond.

We were greeted on arrival by Adrian, the owner, and were thrilled to find that Anita had baked some delicious cookies for us on arrival. The interior and furnishings are modern and the cottage is well equipped. Consideration has been given to all creature comforts, both human and for our four legged furry friends; whom I must hasten to add had an equally fabulous time.

Such a hidden gem.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Such a welcome with homemade biscuits and tea/coffee/milk. Wonderful location for seaside trips (Tenby especially). Great accommodation (including a brand new kitchen) for the family as, after a day out, you can play pool or board games (the monopoly was brilliant with a modern cashless system!). Thank you to both Anita and Adrian for such a wonderful holiday.
