“Lovely clean and extremely well equipped property with farmland views from the rear.”

The only drawback is that it is on the A487, busy in rush hour, quiet the rest of the time. We turned this into a positive as there was no long winding country lane to drive to a main road so trips out were quicker. We enjoyed the walk down to the Pembrokeshire Coast path and a small secluded beach (Aber Bach). We enjoyed exploring Fishguard and Goodwick just 3 to 4 miles south west and Newport and Parrog just 5 miles north east. Lovely harbours and beaches with great views. We are keen ...

We are keen walkers so most days were spent selecting a section of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to walk along and then make the walk circular using more inland rights of way. Dinas Island was great for this, as was Strumble Head.

On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen/dining area that leads through to a large wooden conservatory, along with a bathroom, utility room, and cozy lounge with an open fire.

The second floor features an en-suite master bedroom with a king-size bed, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. The cottage sits in half an acre of grounds, which include a stream, a natural spring, an enclosed fish pond, woodland shrubbery, and a grass lawn area.

The grounds also have a picnic table, perfect for enjoying an alfresco meal or a 'Teddy bears Picnic.' Modern amenities include oil central heating, an electric hob, built-in oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 32” TV, video, a well-stocked bookshelf, and WiFi.

Fuel and power are included in the rent.

Please note that Meadowlands does not have a charge point for electric vehicles, and charging from within the property is prohibited.

Bed linen and towels are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own cot linen and beach towels.

A cot is available on request, though there is no high chair.

The property offers off-road parking for two cars. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined nearby, offering superb views and the chance to spot seals, birds, dolphins, or porpoises.

A short drive from the property are the two coves of Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys.

The public service bus and the local coastal bus can both be caught a short walk from the property. Nearby attractions include Dinas Island, Strumble Head, Newport Sands, and the charming towns of Newport and Fishguard, both of which host weekly farmers markets and offer plenty of galleries, individual shops, eateries, and pubs.
