“Just a cottage was stunning.”

It was very clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The house its self has every thing you need. The downstairs is a good size for the grandchildren to play and for adults to relax. It was so peaceful coming back to the cottage after a busy day out. The grandchildren loved playing outside in the garden. Debra, the owner, was lovely and made us feel very welcome and at home. If we needed anything or wanted advice on the area, she was happy to give us advice. We would stay there ...

“It has everything for a relaxed walking holiday but what clinched the 5/5 rating was how well we slept.”

Only the ground floor is attached by the kitchen, so essentially it is detached and no-one else on site except the owners. The property is built and fitted to a high standard. It has the most comfortable beds and duvets we've known. The internet was reliable, the owner helpful and friendly. Many good walks, both coastal and woodland less than 30 mins' drive. Lunch at Bramleys tea rooms in St Florence was superb. In summary, it was worth the long drive from home and we would stay again. Highly recommended.

“Firstly only given 4/5 for accuracy of listing as the garden is not fully enclosed.”

The cottage was absolutely beautiful well maintained very clean had a well stock kitchen with everything you would need . We were met in arrival by the lovely owner Deb who went through the essentials with us, Deb dose live next door but other than a lovely welcome we never saw her again . Our stay was Easter with family including an 18 month old. We had rolling fields behind us , the peace and quiet was lovely and the hot tub at the end of a busy day was very welcome, the garden and patio area a very good size and also well kept. We went to Manor wildlife park and dinosaur world which were 5 minutes. Heatherton was also only 5 minutes away . We also went to Folly Farm and Tenby which was 15 minutes away , we had a fantastic day at all. This cottage is very well proportioned and flows well from the living room to the dining area and a large kitchen. Bedrooms en suite bathroom and downstairs toilet were as I have said well maintained and very clean. When our family entered the cottage we all gasped and said how nice it was instantly. We had a fantastic week and will definitely go again.

“We had a lovely week staying at just a cottage.”

The house was immaculate and the kitchen was fully stocked. Probably the most stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. All the extra touches such as tea/coffee/salt/pepper etc were greatly appreciated too. The location is great as only around a 10 minute drive from Tenby and other gorgeous beaches. But you do feel away from it all and was really peaceful. My own concern when booking was that the house was attached but this really did not matter. We never heard a thing and the owner also said she didn't hear us. With 3 noisy children I did obviously think they may hear us. Beds were really comfy and the hot tub was perfect. It definitely felt like 5 star accommodation. Definitely will be booking our return.

A picturesque little village close to Tenby, St. Florence is an awarding-winning village in the heart of Pembrokeshire and plays host to a village shop and two pubs serving good food. There is a garden centre with a cafe and wonderful countryside walks. Just outside the village you will find the Manor House Wildlife Park, as seen on TV as the Welsh Zoo and owned and run by Anna Ryder Richardson. Across the road from the zoo is Heatherton Park with its 18 hole golf course. Try some karting or even "walk on water" in the parks giant zorb balls! With the superb Pembrokeshire coastline less than five miles away, St. Florence is the perfect base for exploring the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Stroll along the quiet, unspoilt beaches of Broad Haven and Barafundle, the pretty beach of Manorbier is less than three miles away. Walk around the beautiful Bosherston lily ponds or discover the incredible St. Govan’s chapel, built into the side of a limestone cliff.
