Extremely roomy and comfortable property.

Very well equipped and clean with everything maintained to a very high standard.The location is great with the grounds absolutely perfect. Ten people plus one dog fitted in a treat with ample room inside and out and never being under each others feet. Martin the owner who lived next door was very friendly and helpful and to cap it all even the weather put on its smiley face. We all throughly enjoyed our holiday and recommend the property and area very highly.

Glanduad Fawr is the perfect place for a larger group to stay.

Spacious well thought out accommodation with plenty of facilities for cooking and dining, all the rooms are comfortable. The area around is very peaceful with beautiful gardens, bird life and good walks straight from the house. Martin and Jamie very helpful for local advice and very responsive to any queries. Would definitely recommend.

Glanduad Fawr is a lovely, very clean, spacious house in a beautiful location.

It is very well appointed to a high standard and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable - plentiful crockery, cutlery and glassware and everything you need to create a 3 course meal for 12 people. The beds are very comfortable with clean, good quality bedding. There is plenty of outdoor space with ample seating for al fresco dining and relaxation Martin is an excellent host, providing a very warm welcome and a thoughtful selection of goodies on our arrival. As a family of 10 plus 2 dogs we have stayed in many cottages throughout the country and this is by far the best. We thoroughly recommend.

We had a fabulous week at Glanduad.

Martin was in contact whilst we were en route, and was around to welcome us on arrival. The house was amazing and the welcome goodies were very much appreciated. There were ten of us staying, but there was plenty of space, and having five bathrooms was great. The two upper floor bedrooms were slightly tropical, but that was due to the gorgeous weather! Everything was clean and tidy, and we particularly appreciated that the kitchen was very well stocked, but only with basic relevant items, with all the other cupboards left empty for our food. Often holiday homes will have all the cupboards full of unnecessary stuff, so the cupboard space was greatly enjoyed. We also loved dining every night around the huge formal dining table! The garden space was amazing, and our young people loved playing ball games and frisbee together whilst we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. There were lots of great walks right on the doorstep as well. Martin was very accessible and helpful, and keen to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We would highly recommend Glanduad Fawr as a great place to stay, and would definitely consider a return stay at some point. It was an amazing place for our family to all enjoy together. Thank you!

We have just had a great holiday at Martin and James holiday home.

The house was amazing. Everyone loved the showers, plentiful hot water, everything worked as it should. Quite spot just listening to the river and birds. Our favourite beach was aberporth with its rock pools and inlets. It has toilets, places to eat and ice cream. Really enjoyed holiday by all

This is a fabulous place to stay.

Very well appointed and comfortable with beautiful peaceful gardens. Everything is of the highest standard with beautiful soft furnishings sourced locally and lots of thoughtful touches like eco friendly toiletries. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the area with lots of recommendations about places to go/or pubs to eat at. A lovely history of the location was included. They also were able to recommend a local caterer who cooked a wonderful welcome meal on our first night which took a lot of pressure off. Would definitely recommend- beaches were less than a 15 min drive away so great for kids as well.

Beautifully redeveloped farmhouse nestled in a tranquil valley.

While it had the charm of a large oldy world house it also incorporated all the modern facilities one would need. A fantastic find and Martin, one of the owners, was very approachable and helpful, adding to the charm and enjoyment of our holiday.

What a find!

I would happily live in this beautiful house without changing anything. It is tucked away in wonderful gardens and surroundings. Very well equipped, lovely touches, very tastefullly furnished, books, magazines, delicious provisions on arrival. We spent a few days with friends and they were equally happy with the house and area. Will definitly be back.

Glanduad Fawr is the perfect "get away from it all" destination.

The house is big enough for everyone to have space if they need it and the grounds too are so extensive and peaceful you can't help but rest. We have just booked our third visit!

A beautiful and welcoming space with plenty of generously sized rooms, thoughtfully designed with extra touches that made our stay especially comfortable.

The property is tastefully decorated throughout, with interesting pieces that give it real character and charm. Set in a peaceful rural location with outstanding countryside nearby, yet still close enough to beaches and local areas of interest, it offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. The host was warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Absolutely everything was perfection.

All of our family enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who loves the beautiful , peaceful countryside. It’s a perfect, safe haven for children( little ones would need some adult supervision) where the grounds are easy accessible with a pond, stream and an abundance of nature surrounding the farm .

Perfect quiet location. Everything you could possibly want or need was included. Martin, the host, was exceptional. The decor was impeccable, the beds and pillows were perfect. Plenty of hot water for all 10 of us to bath/shower. Unlimited supply of logs for the wood burner. Fabulous welcome pack from local producers and gorgeous shower products. We had a fantastic stay at Glanduad Fawr.

Everything was as it described if not more. Plenty of room, very spacious. Cleanliness was spot on and facilities was exceptional. Walks of the surrounding grounds was lovely and just what we needed. A great stay had by all. :)

We had a fantastic Christmas week in this gorgeous property!

Plenty of room for everyone and the house was warm and cosy. Lovely walks from the door and even more a short drive away with beaches and the coast path in easy reach. The hosts were great and made us feel so welcome. We’d love to return in the summer!

This was the perfect setting for a big family gathering and Martin gave us an amazing welcome.

The proximity to our home was a bonus when travelling with two toddlers. The house is one of the most spacious we have ever stayed in - so no fighting over the king sized rooms or bathrooms and the downstairs disabled space and wet room was perfect for my 92year old mother. The square dining room was much more conducive to inclusive conversations and the tiled floors enabled a more relaxed atmosphere with our dogs. There was plenty of social space to enjoy each others’ company. Although the weather was torrential, we could see that the outside space and easily accessible walks would be a joy in more climate seasons and positively idyllic. Practically every need was met and we hope to make it a more regular haunt in future.

The property was amazing all that you need from a week away with the family, plenty of space and amenities within the property.

The outside area is fantastic great for pets and safe. The owners live next door and had left a lovely hamper, showed us around when we arrived and always gave a friendly wave when we went out and back. The log burner was excellent and a great array of kindling and logs to make it simple to light. Beds were really comfortable and the rain fall showers were enjoyed by everyone. We would certainly book this accommodation again and truly recommend.

What an amazing place to stay with the family for 80th anf 50th celebrations.

It had everything we needed and the hosts were so helpful, at hand if needed and suggesting nice walks etc. Great location too. We will be returning to this beautifully decorated cottage in wonderful surroundings. Diolch.

We stayed at Glanduad Fawr 19/7/25 to 26/7/25 with all our girls, husbands and 5 little ones and it worked out really well. The large sitting room was perfect for the 12 mo to crawl about and in fact he took his first steps and began to walk in that room! We all had a wonderful time. Martin was more than helpful and generous with his time.

This is a very lovely house in the most idyllic garden.

So peaceful with a babbling brook running through the sun dappled woods. All very highly maintained by the very welcoming hosts Martin & Jamie. Who are around if you need them for any problems but not hanging over you.

Glanduad Fawr is a wonderful house.

The owners have renovated it thoughtfully, with love and care. It is beautifully finished but also comfortable and welcoming . We had 3 families and 3 generations staying for a week - everyone loved it. The gardens are beautiful but also great for children and dogs to play in - ours happily spent a day exploring, paddling in the stream, playing ball games. It was a perfect stay x

This property is the result of an incredible restoration, reflecting it's history and heritage but containing every modern facility.

The house was absolutely perfect. Everything we needed was available and Martin was very approachable and on hand if needed. The property is a real gem and so beautifully presented as were the grounds. We were blown away by this exquisite place and can’t wait to come back again. We could not fault it at all.

We had an amazing stay at Glanduad Fawr.

It was well equipped, with every detail thought of and with 6 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs Glanduad Fawr certainly had space for us all. The five bathrooms, six bedrooms, a big kitchen and lounge and two dining rooms to all sit together to eat was perfect for our group. We particularly enjoyed our evenings by the log burner playing board games and eating together in the grand and beautiful dining room with wood panelling, which made the two birthdays that we celebrated during the week feel so special. Martin was very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable and he assisted us with suggestions for local walks and tips for the places we were planning to visit during our stay. Our highlights for excursions were the Pembrokeshire islands boat tour to see puffins and seals around Skomer island and Cat Rock cafe at Newport sands for a beautiful view combined with a delicious breakfast. Thank you Martin for our stay at Glanduad Fawr - we hope to return to spend more time in the sunshine.

The perfect space for large groups. The house was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. The beds were the comfiest we’d all ever slept in! Martin is a great host with excellent communication. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time and the accommodation was excellent.

It was comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. We made use of breakfast room every morning and the lounge was very comfortable for all 10 of us that stayed. The grounds were great for a walk round and it was lovely and quiet, well away from the road. Martin was a great host and very helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed our stay, the best yet.

We stayed at Glanduad Fawer over New Year, it was a return visit having had a short stay the previous summer.

Yes, we liked it that much we went back there to see in the New Year. The house is in a secluded and sheltered spot down a long private drive. The surrounding land is very peaceful with a stream, mature trees and a large green open space. The property has a massive patio perfect for outdoor living - weather permitting. The house has been completely renovated to a very high standard. It has a large paneled dining room perfect for evening get togethers and a well proportioned living room with comfy sofas and a wood burner in a massive inglenook - which makes things super cosy in the winter. The bedrooms are lovely tranquil spaces, some with ensuites. I found the beds and bedding to be very comfy. Glanduad Fawer is only 10-15 minutes from Cardigan. As a big group we ordered a Click & Collect at the Tesco's for when we arrived - very convenient. There is some dramatic coastal walking and expansive sandy beaches a short drive away. There is also an Iron age village a short walk from the house. Which also has electric car charging points. What makes a stay special is often the host. Martin is a brilliant host whom has an absolute passion for the property and is incredibly welcoming. He absolutely goes above and beyond. If we don't ever go back, there are lots of places to visit in the world, we will always have very fond memories of our time at Glanduad Fawer. Genuinely a 5* review.

Absolutely loved our stay at Glanduad Fawr and what an awesome experience to be able to stay in my ancestral home!

Martin and James did a fantastic job renovating the place and keeping as much of the original features as they could and enhancing the home with modern comforts. The surroundings are beautiful, easy access to Newport, Cardigan, Fishguard and Haverford West as well as local pubs and villages to visit. Nearby Nanhyfer / Nevern (pronounced never~n) and St Brynach Church are definitely worth a visit and it’s only a short walk up to the old Nanhyfer Castle and Pilgrim’s Cross. I shall be writing up my family history and send a copy for the house information pack. Thank you again for your hospitality Martin & James. Wow what an amazing place.

The house has been sympathetically restored retaining original character along with all the modern conveniences that modern living require. The bedrooms are spacious with lovely quality bedding & furniture. The bathrooms are lovely - luxury hotel style with character reutilisation of existing features from the former dairy. The towels especially are of excellent quality, and lovely to have bath sheets not just towels. The kitchen provides everything you could need, with the breakfast room providing additional area for casual dining. The dining room is magnificent! The panelled walls are wonderful with surprises in the hidden cupboards (providing more crockery, glasses and the hosts have even through of a cocktail shaker!) The living room is a lovely place to gather , socialise and relax. The grounds are breathtaking and the ambience is so relaxing - the lack of light pollution means that you have lovely clear skies at night, perfect for those who like to look out for the auroras we’ve been blessed with lately! Finally the host Martin is wonderful - you can tell he has put his heart and soul into this project. He is welcoming, friendly and informative of the local area. We have rented Lots of houses over the years and this is definitely one of the best. Will definitely look to return.

We (a group of 12 people– aged from 3 to 70 years) recently stayed at Glanduad Fawr for a much-needed holiday, and it was an absolutely delightful experience!

The host (Mr. Martin) was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering helpful recommendations for local dining and activities, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The outdoor space, particularly the garden, stream and pool, provided a serene environment to relax and unwind. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, complimentary toiletries, and a well-stocked kitchen. Overall, Glanduad Fawr exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for exploring the area, this place has it all. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

Our two nights at Glanduad Fawr was brilliant and we fully intend to come back and enjoy the property more and the surrounding area.

Martin, the host, was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is immaculate, having been recently renovated. All 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were spacious. The lounge was comfy, the dining room beautiful and everything you need in the kitchen. Several people can operate in their without colliding, which is useful. The peaceful outside patio and garden is a real treat and was protected from the coastal winds in our time there. As a group of mature adults with young teens and a dog, this was most definitely one of our favourite holiday homes and we all agreed it will find a regular spot in our calendars in the future. A brilliant house!

We have just returned from a week staying at Glandaud Fawr.

It is such an amazing place to stay. The house is generously proportioned and set in stunning scenery. Martin has thought of absolutly everything and is so incredibly kind, he was a brilliant 'host'. The house is spotless, has top quality bedding and towels and excellent facilities. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We've rented lots of places over the years and this one was a real favourite. Martin has excellent local knowledge, we used several of his recommendations over our week and they were all spot on, from fish and chips to dolphin tours. The house has lots of added extras that some properties we've rented don't and these make a big difference when you're away. There was a lovely welcome package, and Martin was there to greet us and show us around which was a marvellous start. The children loved the stream and the pond and we relished the quiet. The bathrooms are numerous and hotel quality, it's a really fabulous house to stay in. We will absolutely be looking to book again, the location is excellent and easy to find, with several excellent beaches a short drive away. We really did have a great holiday and if you're wondering if this house will suit you and your group we would recommend it without hesitation.

We particularly loved the cottage's proximity to Castell Henllys, and the lovely little village of Newport. Whether we were exploring the quaint villages, hiking through the picturesque countryside, breathtaking coastline, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet, there was always something to do. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Their attention to detail was evident throughout our visit. We would highly recommend Glanduad fawr to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. It's the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. We will definitely book again for our next family get-together.
