“We have stayed at Milkwood cottage two weeks a year for 6-7 yrs before Covid, so we are very used to it.”
The first thing we noticed was the slightly more overgrown front and back garden, then the toilet was 'soiled' which we scrubbed clean. In one bedroom there was dust and dirt plus blood stains on the pillow. The Freeview on the TV was useless, and the Wi-Fi to the TV was unstable, kept disconnecting and sometimes wouldn't reconnect try as we may.
I managed to lock us out, I phoned a number and thankfully was told where to find a key. I think this should be made more clear in the information ...

I managed to lock us out, I phoned a number and thankfully was told where to find a key. I think this should be made more clear in the information. As I said we have stayed here many times, we like the old cottage but, this made us think whether we will continue to come back here in the future.
I think with the increase of electric cars an EV point would be a good idea for the future too.
Sort these few points out and it will be a lovely place to stay.
