The bedding was disappointing as well, with duvets that appeared stained and discoloured, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.
Additionally, the welcome book lacks essential practical information about the property. While it does provide useful suggestions for local attractions, it doesn’t include important details for guests such as bin and recycling arrangements or clear departure instructions. Guidance on things like whether to strip beds, where to leave used towels, and how to leave the house at the end of the stay would be very helpful.
Given the beachside location, an outdoor shower would also be a great addition to help guests rinse off sand after returning from the beach.
In summary, Beach Cove offers an incredible setting and easy beach access, but the property itself would benefit from more attention to detail, better maintenance, and clearer communication for guests.
