Beautiful apartment, spotless everything you could possibly need for your stay,lovely little hamper which is a thoughtful touch.

We had a wonderful week at 2 Chandlers Yard.

The accommodation was exactly as described and it felt very homely. Everything about the apartment was perfect. All the furniture was in very good condition and bedding, towels etc were of a high quality. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and could not be faulted. Ornaments all added to the overall ambience of the place. On arrival, the welcome pack was a very welcome addition with proper Welsh butter. We would highly recommend 2 Chandlers Yard and hope to return in the future.

The apartment was the perfect base to tour from. It is a lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and within easy reach of the beach and town. We really appreciated the welcome goodies. Can recommend this place and would stay again.

The accommodation was warm and clean.

Sandra came straight away when we had a slight problem with the heating. Lovely welcome pack with fresh eggs and other things. Nice neighbour who offered help if needed. We would like to stay there again sometime. Linda

We have been to 2 Chandlers Yard for several years and will, hopefully, return.

The location close to Burry Port harbour is great. There are plenty of good walks on the doorstep and many places to visit within a reasonable distance.

This was our 4th time at the apartment, very clean accommodation and really well equipped, as always the welcome pack was much appreciated after a long journey, excellent location, love this place.

Thank you to the owners for making our stay comfortable, brilliant bike rides and as a bonus the weather was great. Roy & Cheryl x

Excellent property fully equipped

Perfect location and everything in the property that you would need - home from home.

Couple of tiny issues, I.e. oven tray hadn’t been cleaned after use and tiny food marks on kitchen table but other than that it was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our 5 th year staying in this beautiful apartment because it is keep so clean and comfortable and light and airy.

It had everything we needed and was very well-maintained. It is situated close to the beach and has easy access to the beach and the coastal path.

Another superb stay at 2 Chandlers Yard, blessed with good weather!

The flat has absolutely everything that we needed for a great holiday stay, from enough kitchen equipment to make full family meals with, to comfy beds and a powerful shower over the bath for washing away the sand from great days on the beach just a few minutes walk away. There is lots of storage space, a lounge big enough for our child to play in and a dedicated car parking space. The flat itself is minutes away from the accessible coastal path, the train station, a handy Co-op with main bus stop and a great playground. Great location, comfortable and convenient. Fab, fab, fab!

We have stayed in this apartment 3 times now and it is always lovely and clean with a very nice welcome pack to enjoy at the end of a long journey.

The location is spot on, we love walking around the harbour, there is always something to see, we love cycling and this area is superb with lots of off road routes, another lovely holiday, thank you. Roy and Cheryl.

Lovely position, minutes from great beaches, the docks and the town centre. The coastal path is on the door step. Good pubs and restaurants are within walking distance.

Our third time at this stunning location and wonderful flat and we had, yet again, a simply wonderful time.

Generous welcome pack, immaculately clean and all the bits and pieces you need for a comfortable relaxing holiday. The flat is on the doorstep of the beach and coastal path and a stones throw from the train and bus station, a well stocked Co-op and a lovely playground. Everything you need for a fun family get away, or a relaxing adults holiday.

Very well-appointed flat.

Spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The extensive welcome pack was very welcome and saved having to go shopping straight after our long drive to get there. Well located very near to 2 gorgeous beaches and Burry Port itself with sufficient shopping facilities to keep you going. Major supermartkets are only 15 minutes away. This is a very peaceful location so makes a great place to chill. If the weather is up to it, the beaches can compete with anywhere. We had a lovely holiday.

A perfect flat.

Only criticism is the sofas are low. Very soft and in our experience somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise a perfect flat. Beautiful location. Excellent welcome pack

Excellent flat in great location The kitchen so well equipped.

Loved being so close to the beach and harbour. South Wales is picturesque and loved the time we were there.

As per the guest book, we chose your apartment for location and facilities.

We needed two bedrooms and good transport links for walking the Carmarthenshire coast path. Yours was perfect. We really enjoyed having plenty of space, proper bathroom, tons of crockery and cutlery all very clean and good quality. You warned us about a scheduled part replacement for the boiler which was no inconvenience at all, nevertheless your lovely parents Sandra and Sul insisted on coming in person the night before to tell us and even bought us a nice bottle of wine - too kind. We had a great chat with them and learnt more about Burry Port - which was very nice. What's more the apartment was great value too. What's not to like? Best wishes, Chris.

Lovely property, really quite spacious and well equipped.

Great location too and the welcome pack was really thoughtful. Only issue we could not get washing machine to work and would prefer a dishwasher. Would recommend this property as a base to explore the amazing beaches.

This was our third visit to 2 Chandler's Yard for my daughter and I which, I think, says it all.

The property has everything you need for a break. The Millennium Costal Path passes next to the property and the which is located in the harbour area. There is easy access to the beaches. Shops and a variety of fast food establishments are a few minutes walking distance away. It is an excellent centre for exploring the delights and beauty of Carmarthenshire.

We have stayed here before and that was the main reason we returned.

The apartment has every thing we needed and more. Very clean and well presented The “Welcome” pack; the information leaflets; even a selection of books; all has been thought of and made available. This was our second visit to this apartment, Sykes cottages provided excellent customer service with information at the time to booking and prior to arrival.

The owners also give excellent information about arrival and the accommodation is extremely good, very clean, comfortable and well equipped, everything is there to make your holiday an enjoyable experience. Well located for accessing the beautiful area. Coastal path runs alongside apartment and only a few mins walk to the harbour and beach - perfect. Shops and train station nearby too.

I/we have stayed at numerous Sykes properties and all were superb, this property was by far the best.

We don’t like hotels and have been self catering here and abroad for over 50 years. In all that time I don’t think that we’ve stayed anywhere nicer. It was spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possible need for a holiday. The weather was too nice! We didn’t want to come home

A very warm comfortable and well equipped flat in an ideal location for the harbour and coastal path.

Also very easy to get to Ffos Las horse racing course, the national park, the airport and golf courses. The owners are very helpful and friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending the property to other guests.

This is a very comfortable, clean and well-equipped apartment located adjacent to the tidal harbour of Burry Port.

It is within easy walking distance of the town where there are convenience stores and fast food outlets. The coastal path passes next to the apartment giving walking/cycling options in both directions. There are beaches nearby and within a short driving distance. There are many interesting places to visit in the beautiful county of Carmarthenshire.

1st class property in an excellent location.

.the flat is immaculate….with everything you need…..a nice outlook over to Burry Port….5 minutes walk to an outstanding beach….very comfortable beds…beautiful linen…nice smart Tv….Wi-Fi……...so glad we brought our bikes….lots of lovely bike rides….lovely tray of food….Welsh cakes…bread ….Welsh butter…eggs…..tea …coffee….milk….bottled water….gosh…I can’t remember it all….Thankyou very much Susan….hope we can come again :)lots more to discover along this beautiful coastline……

Great holiday flat, everything you need and welcome hamper very much enjoyed.

Location ideal for walkers, cyclists, families, beaches or just chilling. Loved the area. We even made use of the trains and gave the car a rest. Certainly recommend this flat to future holidaymakers.

First visit to Burry Port and 2 Chandlers Yard, but hopefully it won't be our last.

What a lovely apartment, so close to harbour and beach. The apartment was clean, comfy and perfect for us. It has everything you need for a perfect stay and more. We loved being so close to the harbour, enjoying endless walks around harbour and along the beautiful beach. We never tired of our evenings watching the tide come in while the sun set over it, so beautiful. There was plenty of good places to eat near by which meant we hardly needed to use the great facilities provided. Thank you so much for the welcome pack, totally unexpected but much appreciated. We cant wait to be back there again, hopefully we will be lucky with the weather then too.

Delightful flat - clean, well stocked with crockery and cooking equipment and very comfortable.

Its also in a fantastic location, particularly for families. The beach is a few minutes walk away, and a large well maintained playground is just across the road, while the accessible millenium coastal path, suitable for pushchairs and bikes, runs right by the building. A special mention also has to be given to the thoughtful welcome basket showcasing Welsh products (the chance to have tea and cake while unpacking was so appreciated) and the comprehensive welcome information about what to do in the local area. All in all a great base for a fantastic holiday!

The hosts were very thoughtful leaving a superb welcome pack and lots of information about the area. Even the weather was in our favour! We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Absolutely delighted with flat ,very clean and felt it was well equiped with everything ,welcom pack was fantastic ,had egg on toast soon as we arrived ,plus slice of bara brith with Welsh butter , thank you ,will definitely book again ,hopefully in the summer ,thankyou .

We really enjoyed our stay and welcome pack was very nice.

The only negative was the comfort of the mattresses and we would book again if not for that.

We have visited Burry Port many times over many years to see family members.

Coming back, after a gap of several years, was a pleasure made more so by this accommodation. The location, adjacent to the harbour, is excellent with easy access to beaches and seaside walks without having to drive. The town's shops, restaurants and fast food outlets are a short walk away. The accommodation is very clean, well-appointed, comfortable and has a dedicated parking space. There are many interesting places to visit within a reasonable drive and there is comprehensive information provided on these. The information provided about the accommodation was clear and comprehensive. The Welcome Pack was much appreciated. All-in-all we had a wonderful stay.

Everything you would want. Very clean and well equipped, oh and a lovely welcome hamper. Very conveniently situated in this lovely little town with its walks and pubs! We had some lovely days out too, Laughan, Ferryside, Carmarthen, Llanelli, Rhossili beach, and our favourite, the Mumbles. It has been a great holiday, even the weather was good. I would recommend!
