We have booked again for next year if that doesn't say that we enjoyed our holiday I don't know what will so for all you that are in doubt please keep reading. When you turn from the main road you meanded down a long country road then you will see the turning for the farm going down their drive you will be greated with grass growing in the middle of it, then you go over the railway bridge and get to the farm. Once you have driven over the cattle gate you can hear the faint barking of cwtch the dog who will great you upon arrival at the cottage closely followed by either Lavaina or Martin the hosts for your holiday. Also you will be meet by Russell the crow he does peck your ankles but don't be alarmed he is friendly he likes to be stroked under his chin or the top of his head. (cwtch and Russell do get jealous of each other) We were meet by Martin who showed us around the cottage and as we arrived late said that he would show us the rest of the farm in the morning. You can buy freshly laid eggs from his daughter (teggs eggs) , the eggs are so tasty and one day I got a double yoker (get in....) the next day we meet Lavinia who is the most friendlyist host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. (sorry Martin you come second) they both showed us around the farm we meet the alpacas (male and female) , angora goats, donkeys, horses and a duck. Then we're shown the fishing ponds. You also get to feed the alpacas and goats. If the goats are in the field they will follow you down to the pond. The female alpacas aren't as bostrus as the males, they are truly beautiful creatures. The goats are really friendly and some like a scratch behind their ears. We also had the opportunity to walk two of the younger alpacas and as there we three of us one of us took shadow who is a very friendly goat for a walk which was an experience. Lavaina has a workshop where she makes products from the alpaca fibres and angoera goats wool. She is a really talented lady (you can buy the products she makes) I brought quite a lot as you can't get that quality anywhere. I had the most amazing experience of bottle feeding bramble the baby alpaca not once but twice so a wonderful feeling. We came to the farm as strangers and left as friends.
