  • Daniel

“We were amazed at the proportions of all of the rooms.”

They were huge, as is the house, which was perfect for 2 families. Great proximity to the beach and all the amenities. We had a very relaxing holiday.

The property

This lovely, detached house is set on the hillside in one of the most desirable locations in Wales, overlooking part of the seaside village of Pendine, the sandy beach and the sea, as far as the Gower coastline on clear days.

Making the most of the views, the property has patio doors in the kitchen and sitting room, Juliet balconies in two bedrooms and raised sitting areas with views of the beach and sea, so you can spend many long hours soaking up the spectacular views.

Enjoy time in the large fully-equipped kitchen, making meals to eat together around the stunning dining table, or preparing a homemade picnic to take to the beach.

Relax in the sunny sitting room, curled up together on cooler evenings, catching up on a few TV shows, a family film or play some board games, the room is decorated with red specks, snug sofas and laminate flooring, creating a homely yet contemporary atmosphere.

The house has four spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and walk-in showers, one master room on the first floor with a Juliet balcony and a king-size bed, and one with a double bed on the ground floor beside a smaller twin-bedded room and a bathroom.

It makes a delightful holiday home, perfect for larger family holidays!

The ground floor twin room has full access to the downstairs bathroom, where you can unwind in a soothing bubble bath after a long day of exploring the nearby area.

Most of your days can be happily spent on the seven-mile stretch of beach, making sandcastles, flying kites, or even taking a dip in the sea.

Pendine is a wonderful area to explore the South West Wales area, home to a range of amenities including convenient shops, local pubs, a tasty diner, as well as a fascinating historical landmark at Ragwen Point National Trust spot.

Guests can also explore nearby Laugharne, with its beautiful castle, and Dylan Thomas' boathouse and home that you can visit.

Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is a short drive away, a perfect fun-filled family day out where you can make farmyard friends in the barn, discover exotic animals at the zoo, and enjoy thrilling fairground rides.

About the location

PENDINE

Tenby 15 miles.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car ‘Babs’, the driver of which was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years, but has now been dug up, restored and is often in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson used these perfect flat sands to take off on one of her many record flights. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
