“Overall this is a lovely cottage, easy to get to, large off road parking area, lovely enclosed outdoor space with a fantastic hot tub, comfy beds, real fire and nice furnishings, and Laugharne is beautiful.”
There were a few bits of attention to detail that were lacking for us, hence I've not given it 5 stars - lack of lighting outside around hot tub area. Bathroom light fixture was really dim so impossible to do make up or shave in the mirror, bathroom tap was constantly leaking too. Nowhere to hang towels except in the tiny radiator, which then blocked the heat so the bathroom just felt cold and unpleasant. The heating timer was running about 4 hours fast so the heating was coming on at 3am and was off again by about 6pm. We weren't left any supplies to make a fire (despite the blurb saying it came with those) then two days into our stay the owner appeared unannounced to build a cabinet outside which then had fire stuff in it, too late as we'd already bought our own by this point .
The TV facilities were really limited, a sky box in situ but not streaming sky, so really confusing as to which channels you could watch.
The slopping ceiling in the bedroom added character, but if you are particularly tall you'd probably struggle, at a not very large 5"9 both me and hubby had to stoop a lot, so worth being in mind for anyone who is over 6ft and thinking of staying here.
Overall enjoyed our stay, but it could have been a bit better with some of the things above.
