    “"Fantastic family getaway – perfect for toddlers and relaxing!”

    " My wife and I recently stayed here for a week with our 23-month-old granddaughter, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hosts, Simon and Sherie, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They truly made us feel welcome. Our granddaughter was absolutely delighted to see the horses, sheep, and chickens right outside the door – it was a daily highlight for her. The grounds are lovely, and we were free to wander and enjoy the great views, even spotting ...

After busy days exploring, it was wonderful to come back to the hot tub and patio, which offer a fantastic view over the Severn. We also loved having an excellent local pub nearby for a relaxed evening meal. Highly recommended for a peaceful, family-friendly break with wonderful hosts and beautiful surroundings. We hope to return!

Nestled in the small village of Llanvair-Discoed near Penhow, Monmouthshire, is this superb oak-clad lodge, Top Lodge.

Enjoying a fantastic setting within easy reach of the Wye Valley AONB and the coast, as well as breath-taking views out over the valley, Top Lodge is a wonderful choice for couples or a family of four.

Upon arrival, you will find an off-road parking space as well as a lovely front garden with furniture, perfect for alfresco dining with a view!

Move through to the sitting area where you can kick-back on the plush seating in front of a much-loved film, a haven to return to after an adventure filled day.

Follow the stairs up to the first floor, you will find a well-appointed shower room for freshening up at the end of the day, as well as two tastefully decorated double bedrooms for catching your rest.
