    “Another wonderful stay.”

We all slept like babies in the comfy beds and enjoyed the treats left for us. The Christmas decorations added a really festive feel to the weekend - thank you. See you next year hopefully

Pontarddulais Cottages

A couple of beautifully decorated, spacious cottages in a rural location near the bustling town of Pontarddulais in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. With Ysgobur Hir being a fantastic barn conversion, Yr Hen Ffaldd follows in its stylish, charming footsteps with plenty of oak furnishings and modern equipment. Two of the more well-presented cottages that we have, accompanied with panoramic views, these two cottages come with spacious rooms, modern and well-equipped kitchens, large, bright bedrooms with plenty of storage and delightful outside areas. Despite being in such a rural, tranquil location, this pair of cottages come nearby a lot of thriving, bustling locations. The nearest town being Pontarddulais, a busy town with a good range of amenities within a short drive. The popular city of Swansea is also nearby, offering fantastic shopping facilities as well as a lot of other activities. Llanelli is also within easy reach as well as the capital city, Cardiff, being within an hours drive. A pair of fantastically decorated cottages in a beautiful rural location.

About the location

PONTARDDULAIS

Swansea 10 miles.

This typical bustling Welsh town is by the River Loughor and its estuary, close to main road links via the M4. Pontarddulais offers an array of shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, and a park with free tennis courts, and also boasts a successful male voice choir. Pontarddulais is located approximately 10 miles from the City of Swansea, where you can enjoy the theatre, cinemas and many large shopping centres. Swansea is also home to a great leisure centre (LC2), the Liberty Stadium, home of Swansea City football club and the Ospreys rugby club. Llanelli is 9 miles away, where you will find Parc y Scarlets, home of the Scarlets RFC, while a few miles further is Pembrey Country Park with several miles of cycle track along shallow wooded valleys and deserted beaches. Venture a little further to The Mumbles and the Gower Peninsula with its superb sandy beaches and wonderful cycling, walking, horse riding and golfing, with surfing available at Llangennith. Head north to the scenic Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park with its castles, caves and waterfalls. Approximately 16 miles west is the ancient market town of Carmarthen, the gateway to mid-Wales. A perfect location to discover this beautiful part of South Wales.
