“Lovely holiday cottage, very well equipped, with fantastic views and perfect location for our family holiday.”

Thank you so much for the wine, chocolate, sweets & mince pies. We also loved the Christmas decorations! Only negative is the mattress/bed in the room downstairs. Uncomfortably soft and your head is lower than your body (we realised this is the floor in the room sloping). We would love to book again but don’t know if we could sleep in that bed again.

“Accomodation is in an excellent location.”

It was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen though a dishwasher and dryer would be nice although I understand room would be an issue. I would definately book this cottage apartment again and probably will do so in the future.

The welcome pack on arrival was lovely surprise. The house was beautifully presented and was clean and tidy on our arrival, it was fully equipped to be a home from home and had plenty of information for anyone wishing to sample the local attractions, walks and to take in the spectacular County of Pembrokeshire. Its prime location afforded amazing views of the beach, sunsets and local wildlife. We would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone wishing to stay in Broad Haven and will hopefully be booking again for our stay next year.

“Serious holiday blues today after coming home from a week in this beautiful place.”

The accommodation is absolutely spot on, well kept, comfortable, family friendly and a gorgeous ocean view. Location is superb. Family of 4, with a 3 and 6 year old, and they loved it here too. Made it so easy for us with local beach days and exploring. Very high standard of facilities on the accommodation. 2nd visit and hope for a 3rd.

The apartment was well appointed and fitted out lovely position , quality fittings and bedding etc, but it is small fine for a couple but a family of 4 would find it cramped and 6 is a no no insufficient seating and space the shower to ensuite is small i am 6ft and found it awkward to wash kept knocking the shower controls,but as i stated for a couple 5stars

Thank you for your feedback after your recent stay. We recognise that our property is not the most spacious but in the listing it clearly states that “Due to limited living space, we suggest no more than four adults and two children”. The vast majority of bookings for 6 people usually includes 2 or 3 young children. We find that the property isn’t booked for the space but for the location by the beach. “This was a real gem, a thoughtful welcome hamper on arrival and everything about the accommodation was just perfect.”

The location, cleanliness, the quality of every item was lovely from crockery to the furniture all up to date and well thought of. ( I wish all cottages had this standard as many seem to use old dated, worn out items!!) Plenty of parking and in an ideal location for the beach and easy access to other areas to visit. Thank you so much ..I would def visit again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

“The property was smaller than we expected from the listing for 6 of us with small living space and no outside area for children to play immediately outside the property.”

I think this needs to be a bit clearer in the listing. However, we had a fantastic holiday and it had absolutely everything you needed in the kitchen and in the property itself. The sunsets were beautiful from the main window and to hear the waves from there was really special. We were able to swim several times a day as the beach was so close which was amazing. We all loved all of the little extra touches with the soaps left in the bathrooms, hair things in little display bags in the main rooms and the lovely welcome hamper with welcome card. The apartment was spotless and we couldn’t fault it, we had a wonderful time and would love to stay again. Many thanks Laura and Jonathan Wilson

Ideal location for exploring the beautiful coastline, St David's, Tenby, Stack Pole, Colby and, of course, Caldey and Skomer Islands. We rarely return to the same place, but would love to visit again one day. Highly recommended!

Home from Home. Very comfortable very clean and well kept. Very well stocked kitchen with everything you need to to cook with and close to pubs and cafe's if you don't. Broad Haven and Little Haven are very picturesque wonderful clean beaches and well placed to explore the rest of the stunning Pembroke coast . When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and some Welsh Shortcake waiting for us . We would recommend this property.

Unfortunately steps were a little steep for my 85 year old mum. Some beams a little low for my husband. We had a wonderful stay at our favourite beach on our yearly visit. Welcome gifts were a lovely touch and cottage was spotless on arrival. Not ideal for our family but a beautiful find for a small young family ❤️

The location is perfect and the view of the sea from the window in the main living area is beautiful - the perfect place to watch the sun set! All of the furnishings and bedding are of high quality. The location is great, just back from the sea front with super views, and the private parking is really convenient and easy. There were only two of us so we had our choice of rooms! Broad Haven is really well placed for exploring all of the Pembrokeshire coast, and we did several short walks from the property itself. One of the highlights was our trip to Skomer where we saw plenty of puffins.

“We were a party of 2 adults and 4 children so the layout of the property was perfect for us.”

(The boys thought it was very funny to sleep in a pink bedroom) It was very well equipped for cooking and preparing picnics, and the children loved the freedom of going to the well stocked Londis shop next to the property and shopping on their own and going to buy their own ice creams at the Ocean. The decor of the property was very tastefully furnished with lots of nice touches which made it seem so much more than a holiday rental. The owners rang to check that everything was ok for us and that we had no issues. Everything was perfect and luckily so was the weather. we would highly recommend. Places to visit …Clerkenhill adventure farm, reasonably priced and lots to do. Little Haven ……St Brides for a meal, family run pub. Dale. The Griffin board games for kids.

The welcome pack and note from the owners was much appreciated. The situation was ideal and so good to have plenty of parking (we were in two cars). The cottage was very well equipped and, although the living area was very bijou, it was comfortable and perfect for the 3 of us. The Sunshine restaurant was excellent and all facilities needed were around. Broadhaven is a lovely quiet resort with a beautiful beach and near to Skomer and Ramsey and the lovely coastal path.

“The location is superb and just 2 minutes' walk to the beach, Londis and cafe/pub.”

Excellent car park. All basic amenities were present. Comfortable beds. The water supply to the top floor bathroom (both shower and sink) was extremely poor. The pressure was so low that at times the water supply would almost stop in the upstairs sink. As a result, we all had to use the downstairs ensuite which had normal water pressure. The living room, kitchen, upstairs bedrooms are quite small but adequate for a small family. Apart from the water supply issue, we loved the place. The owner was very friendly and responded to our call at the start of the trip. We did not bother her with the water issue as we were not keen for plumbers to interrupt the holidays. Broad Haven is a hidden gem.

The cottage apartment was delightful, very well equipped and nicely decorated, also with lovely sea views from lounge and patio area. Great to have the Londis store next door to us, as well as the beach on our doorstep. Broad Haven is lovely large beach too. We did a nice walk to Little Haven when the tide was out. We were blessed with fantastic weather every day so were able to do some wonderful cliff walks and the scenery was stunning. Visited, Norton Haven and Newgale beaches which were lovely as well as St. David's Cathedral. Dale was nice as well as St. Brides beach. Love the Pembrokeshire coastline.

The views are lovely and we watched the storms from the warmth and comfort of the apartment. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, beautifully clean bedding and towels. Bedrooms are spacious and comfy and the whole property is very well equipped. There were just two of us so we had plenty of space, but I feel a family of six would struggle with the size of the living area and kitchen in all honesty.

The property

This first floor apartment is set back from the main road but overlooks the seafront at Broad Haven - a perfect holiday destination for the family.

Broad Haven beach has a large and beautiful expanse of golden sands, particularly at low tide.

The children will not only love the huge expanse of sand but could also spend hours searching in the rock pools to the north and south ends of the beach.

There is also mile upon mile of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to explore.

The property was originally an old coach house and has been converted into cosy holiday accommodation.

Broad Haven is a small coastal village and the shop, pub, bar, restaurants and cafes are less than 200 yards from the property.

There is also a water sports hire centre in the village.

BROAD HAVEN

Haverfordwest 6 miles; Milford Haven 7 miles; Pembroke 13 miles.

Set on the superb Pembrokeshire coast, this seaside village boasts a wonderful, sandy, Blue Flag beach that is perfect for swimming, boating and surfing during warmer months and ideal for invigorating, scenic walks on cooler, windy days.
