The Elms

The property is absolutely brilliant.

The 3 bedrooms are all a very good size. the living room is huge and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need for a self catering family. The games room and hot tub are brilliant extra, as well as the huge mature garden and fish pond. This was our second visit to the The Elms, and have already booked with Helen and Julian for next year. It is absolutely a gem. Just outside of Milton Haven, with it's lovely marina. And so many other beautiful places to visit in West Wales in a short drive. Just be aware of the 20 mph area's!!! The Elms, is a beautiful property. We had such a chilled out and relaxed time here. We really didn't want to come home!!

Our family adored our stay at the Elms cottage, the pictures do not do the quaint cottage justice.

The cottage is spacious while warm and cosy. We stayed with 3 generations and the cottage accommodate for everyone's needs from the main building to the hot tub and the games room. The owners have thought of almost everything to ensure our stay felt home from home, with thoughtful touches ranging from hairdryers in each room, irons, and a first aid kit, to the lovely welcome gift basket. The area was quiet and private (most welcomed) while offering plenty of options to explore further a field. Would definitely recommend a visit to Dale beach and Saundersfoot. Thank you for the lovely memories.

An absolute gem of a holiday bungalow.

It is set in a quiet location, a little walk from a beach, and a short drive to Milford Haven. We found it most relaxing with an excellent games room and hot tub. We felt 'at home' right away and found everything we needed supplied. The owners were attentive and helpful too. A brilliant place to holiday in South Wales.

Lovely layout with extra special touches, hot tub, games room, with plush towelling robes, summer house. Lovely welcoming goodies including croissants, bread , eggs, etc.

Brilliant stay at the Elms 8/8/25 the property has everything you could think off in the way of equipment and facilities, there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and the garden / hot tub was so private.

And of course the games room was a big hit with all of us..2 adults 17-13-9 year old.The welcome pack was a lovely touch too.Thankyou for our lovely stay,we visited castles and some beautiful beaches weather was spot on too.

Super place to stay with such thoughtful little extras.

Plenty of space for visitors not to feel on top of each other. Lots of lovely beaches and coastline within an easy drive.

We had a wonderful week in a lovely well-equipped property - the hot tub and games room really made the extra difference.

There is so much to see and do that we only touched on the places to visit locally and will have to make a return visit sometime. Thank you.

Had a lovely stay the home was very spacious and comfortable, hot tub and games roon a bonus, nice to sit in the summer house with a morning's coffee.

Only downside was the shower not working properly, however, this was going to sorted end of our week.

Our journey down to West Wales was so long!

! But it was worth every minute spent in the car. The bungalow is huge, very well kept and had every piece of equipment we needed. Including a small welcome pack. The garden is beautiful, with the addition of a small summerhouse, games room and hot tub. It was so quiet, we felt like we were in our own little haven. We were just so chilled out, it was just what we needed to recharge the batteries. Beds are comfy and fabulous quality bedding. We can't wait to return next year and totally chill out again!!!

Rather surprised by the last review, it didnt seem to match the Elms that we stayed at in May this year.

Shower not working completely .

Beautiful garden. Cancellation not possible and that would be the main reason for not using Sykes again. There was no comfortable place to sit for older people. The furniture looks good in the photos. Coffee machine - couldn’t find pods for. Tub is also useless for older people. Otherwise everything is there qua pots and pans etc.

We loved the property it had every thing we needed for our stay the hot tube was fab and the games room was a god send as the only think was if you wonted any thing you would have 2 go out in the car as they was now shop our a local pub near bye but I would recommend it 2 friends and family as long as they could drive we would go back a nother time

Fabulous holiday accommodation.

All rooms and facilities were of a very high standard. The games room garden and hot tub made the bungalow very special. The owners showed us not only professionalism but kindness. We won’t forget this holiday

Amazing place to stay, it literally has everything, games room with pool table, table tennis, and darts, that opens up to the hot tub area which is just gorgeous, it fits 6 people easily.

The house is lovely the kitchen has everything you need, we cooked every night no need for takeaways. Bedrooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable with wardrobes and drawers so you can unpack and get rid off those suitcases. Spacious living room, comfortable sofas with a cupboard full of board games and the Internet is strong throughout the house no issues for streaming or gaming online. A lovely basket was waiting for us on arrival, it included milk, bread, Welsh cakes, tea cakes, eggs, tea, coffee, sugar, crisps, chocolate. The house is in a good location for visiting the other towns and beaches in Wales, New Quay about 50 minutes away you can see dolphins here, Folly Farm which is amazing and recommended for both adults and it children of all ages it's very reasonable priced and has a Zoo and an indoor fair consisting of all the old legendary rides, from dodgems, crazy caterpillar, to the waltzers and many many more rides and a huge softplay and for £12 you can ride unlimited all day long there. We will be booking to stay again a perfect place to stay and make memories. Highly Recommended.

What a great house plenty of room for a wheelchair.

Two low steps but that's it so much to do here. great hot tub.so many extras we needed nothing! The owners were very thort full. Love to come back.

Everything was there we needed, the game's room was enjoyed by us both and the hot tub was perfect. There was thoughtful touches I.e the robes,the goodies left on the table, plus the little chocolate left on the towels.

A weatherproof holiday base. No matter what the weather. Hot tub and games room keeps everyone happy. Fully equipped and ideal for exploring a stunning part of the UK. Made very welcome ar the community pub. Owners website really helpful and informative.

What an amazing little luxury cottage with everything you could need, and a lovely little welcome pack on arrival.

The cottage it’s self was lovely and clean and so welcoming. We came away for a chilled week and that’s what we got, the hot tub and games room was the icing on the cake and thoroughly enjoyed everyday. The only thing I would like differently would be a bigger tv in the lounge and faster broadband but that’s only a preference to me. Will definitely be returning as this was everything we wanted if not more. We only saw Julian very briefly but contact was amazing and if we needed anything they were only a phone call/message away. If you want some piece and quiet and a proper relaxing holiday book now!

A beautiful home and settings.

The little extras are a lovely touch and the host Helen and Julian are very accommodating. Nothing is any trouble for them. The property is clean and well laid out. A great base to visit local attractions and the beach near by (4 minutes in the car)is a must see. The property has a games room and the spa is very well maintained. Beautiful ,well maintained, holiday home.

With great attention to detail by the host. The grounds and garden are the perfect quite place to relax, summer house, large hot tub, games room with full size pool table, dart board, & ping pong. Even though we chose it as a perfect location to spend days away visiting sites & attractions in Pembrokeshire, we all agreed t spend a full day at the house “chilling out” during the heat wave. Perfect location for trips to Tenby (25min), or walks to the beach (35 min). Also Milford haven has some amazing restaurants along the new harbourfront , well worth a trip. Everything was spotless, new & well maintained, we were very happy.

We all enjoyed our stay at The Elms holiday home located in a village with easy access to many great places.

The Elms more than met our expectations. It was comfortable, clean, spacious with the added bonus of the hot tub and games room. It was a wonderful place to come back to in the evening after exploring west wales. The owners, Julian and Helen, were friendly and happy to offer recommendations for where to eat and places to visit. We had Sunday lunch at Coco’s and all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we’d had. Places we enjoyed visiting were St David’s, Little Haven, Whitesands Beach, Marloes Beach, Tenby. We stopped off at Narberth on the way home, which I would highly recommend. P.S. the eggs in the welcome basket were delicious. We did mean to ask where we could purchase more, but didn’t get round to it.

The Elms was an amazing base for our holiday that had ample to offer in terms of facilities and space.

Our holiday got off to a slightly rocky start with storm Eunice hitting on the day we were supposed to be traveling, making that impossible, an also resulting in a loss of power to the entire village where The Elms is located for around 36hrs! However, the hosts kept us notified of the concern with the power, and even provided supplies to help us be more comfortable on our arrival. Despite this, we were able to keep ourselves and the kids entertained with the activities on offer in the games room. And once power had been restored, were able to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub. In terms of location, there are plenty of places to visit within a reasonable car journey, and some nice walks were enjoyed in the local area. The nearby town of Milford Haven had a good selection of restaurants which we enjoyed visiting, and are a short taxi ride if you wish to leave the car behind. I would highly recommend The Elms to anyone looking for a well equipped property which has plenty to offer.

This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated and furnished with ample off-road parking for 2 cars with a Jacuzzi, sun and games room.

It has 1.5 baths and 3 bedrooms. My only criticism is with the bathrooms - there was no hand soap available anywhere and no place to place toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo or soap; or anything that the ladies in my family needed to use in the bath or shower. Having arrived late in the evening after a 6 hour drive we were unable to wash our with soap and had to use the washing up liquid which the ladies complained of.

Had a lovely chilled week at this property.

Lovely welcome pack, very informative and had lots of leaflets for attractions around Pembroke. Bed was super comfy. Hot tub was lovely to come back to in the evening after days exploring. Didn’t use the games room but this was really well equipped. Would love to go back in the summer. Would recommend

Lovely home from home, was so relaxing and enjoyable with the game's room and hot tub, something for everyone and didn't leave the house, would definitely go back.

It had everything we needed which really made it a comfortable stay with lots of thoughtful touches. The hot tub was a bonus after a day out walking and everyone loved the games room. We would highly recommend this property.

I contacted Sykes to request the bedroom to be made up as a twin 1 week before our holiday but you failed to inform the owners.

Luckily the owner contacted me themselves.

The Elms owned by lovely people, accommodation as described with extra touch of treats on arrival, to save immediate trip to shops.

Visited everywhere, travelling from St David's to Tenby, great beaches along the way, with two X 5 mile treks on Caldey Island and Stackpole Quay, bathing in hot tub on return. Would have rated as 5 star but was unavailable for some reason, perhaps missing a swimming pool!

The Elms far exceeded our expectations!

The games room and hot tub were the icing on the cake. Beautiful accommodation and owners could not do enough to make our holiday perfect. Welcome basket on arrival was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week staying at The Elms.

Everything we needed was provided. The bungalow was plenty big enough for four adults and two little children. The children loved to play in the garden. The adults loved the hot tub, especially my daughter and her husband. We played pool every night as well, which got us away from the TV for a change. Also it was good that there were two toilets. We would recommend this property.

The home is immaculate, comfortable and homely. The garden is beautiful and the hot tub is amazing and a wonderful treat after a busy day. There is a games room which is not pictured but is a great addition. Location is great for exploring Pembrokeshire. Plenty of parking for 2 cars possibly 3. Would highly recommend.

The Elms was a fantastic cottage extremely comfortable, clean and facilities amazing.

From the very moment we arrived we were blown away from the welcome basket with everything we would need for our 1st morning to the games room and hottub we had such a relaxing few days away which was just what was needed. The Elms was in a little quiet village but a great place to explorer the area with lots of recommendations from the owners. The owners Helen and Julien very nice and communicated well with us and responded almost immediately to any queries we texted to them. All in all a 10 out of 10 stay and we can't wait to book the Elms again

Communication throughout was excellent. The Elms is comfortable, homely and spotlessly clean. A welcome pack of basic essentials and treats was much appreciated. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the provision of towelling robes was much appreciated. Helen was able to recommend a number of restaurants which offered take away meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Helen and Julian had definitely gone the extra mile to ensure our stay was more than comfortable and were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay, also leaving us a lovely welcome basket of essentials. The facilities are great and we enjoyed the hot tub (which was checked every morning) and the towelling robes provided were a nice touch. We played pool every evening and also had a read in the cosy summerhouse. The location is great to access many of Pembrokeshire’s lovely beaches and attractions with Sandy Haven a short walk away as well.

Absolutely superb stay at the Elms, entirely surpassed our expectations.

Lovely garden, games room, hot tub all brilliant for staying local if the weather is a bit rainy. Well situated in Pembrokeshire for exploring, car required but there are some lovely local walks too. Milford Haven is a couple minutes drive and full of great eateries. House itself is completely equipt, very comfortable and stylishly finished. We appreciated the goodies on arrival and felt very reassured to see the whole house was spotless and gleaming. Thank you for a wonderful stay we hope to be back soon!

As we are sociable people it is a shame the pub in walking distance was closed but covid19 did that.

The cottage was beautiful, immaculately presented and spotlessly clean.

The welcome pack of food items and card were particularly lovely to see on arrival and we'd recommend to anyone. The location was also ideal, couldn't have found better any better accommodation and we had a lovely break; much needed after a bad year!

Excellent property in a good location

This was our 2nd visit to The Elms.

Beautiful property with everything and more thought of. From the welcome goodies, card and flowers to the bathrobes in every bedroom. We had to leave early unfortunately due to the Covid19 situation which was very disappointing but for the best. As soon as things get back to normal we hope to book again. Repeat customers/bookings speak volumes about the quality of a cottage!

The Elms is a beautiful bungalow in a perfect location.

The gardens are just beautiful and the bungalow itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Very well maintained. The hot tub is great and you can even have a game of pool or darts in the garage. The owners even put a heater in the garage for us.I would highly recommend staying there for a short or long break.

This was such a comfortable holiday let.

Beautifully presented, super garden and more than enough facilities to suit our family. It was really clean and tidy and Helen, the owner was brilliant at communicating with us. There are plenty of restaurants within a short distance and lots to see and do. We’ve not finished exploring the area and are looking forward to a return visit. Everything is thought of and provided for, a brilliant holiday home from home. As a family we had a fantastic time enjoying everything the house had to offer. Children loved the games room, hot tub and reading in the summer house. Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire and enjoying plenty of family. Will definitely go back again !!!

We stayed at the "Elms" for a week in June and "Wow", what a beautiful and relaxing way to spend a week unwinding from normal working life.

Communication from the owners was absolutely first class which is always welcomed. The Elms is a beautiful bungalow and well equipped with everything we needed and more. I must mention the garden is absolutely beautiful, we really enjoyed the high quality hot tub (it's a top of the range hot tub) and looking around the garden and birds that visited... Sooooo relaxing. The hot tub is located with maximum privacy and right next to the garage/ games room. The games room was a really nice feature, we spent a fair few hours in there.. Sandy Haven beach is about 1 mile away and at low tide it's absolutely beautiful, recommended. Overall this is an excellent place to book as a couple or as a family or friends accommodation. We would definitely return at some point and would like to thank Helen and Julian for sharing their bungalow for others to enjoy.

The Elms was a real gem!

It’s such a lovely home with all the added luxury! Perfect location in Pembrokeshire with a variety of different beaches and walking paths to choose from. Milton Haven is 5 mins drive away and the little marina has a variety of restaurants to choose from. There is also a big supermarket which was bonus. The sheltered hot tub was the ultimate in luxury for us with the owners providing towelling robes too. The garden is beautiful with the amazing addition of a games room, and summer house decked out with comfy chairs, heaters and fairy lights. Returned home totally zen, it was everything we were looking for and more.... needless to say I’ve already booked for next year!!

Amazing property with such attention to detail.

Perfect setting for weekend away from it all. Spotlessly clean and amazing well tended hot tub.

Arrived to find fresh flowers, goodies and a 18 Birthday balloon for our daughter.

These extra personal touches show the effort put in by the owner. The bungalow itself was very spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. I think they had thought of everything and more! Perfect family weekend celebrating.

A lovely quiet location.

The cottage was bright and spacious. A wonderful welcome pack of bread, croissants, butter, tea, coffee, sugar and eggs. Milk and water in fridge. Beds so very comfortable. Robes for use with the hot tub. A full sized pool table and brilliant table tennis also. And a darts board. The hot tub under a wooden marque with twinkly lights just wonderful. A little gem of a summer house with an electric flickering fire. So cosy with lot's of books to read. Poker, scrabble and an assortment of jigsaws in the lounge. Tastefully modern bathroom, plus an extra toilet room. 3 large bedrooms with large beds and Televisions. Cannot say enough positives about this property..... Thankyou Helen and Julian.... What a gem you have...

A really lovely good sized bungalow- extremely comfortable - exceptionally well equipped - tastefully decorated.

The hot tub & gardens were very pleasant - plenty of room, also, for parking. Thank you to the owners for leaving a large welcome basket for us and for the abundance of information on the area. A nice pub was a few yards away. We were close to the sea with great walks & drives. Overall, we could not have chosen a nicer place to stay & would recommend The Elms to all.

This was a little piece of paradise. Julian and Helen went out of there way to make their property the most luxurious place we ever stayed. We will definitely be back.

We've had the most amazing stay at the Elms.

When we arrived we were gobsmacked, Clean, tidy, home from home and everything you can imagine. We arrived very late but walked into the kitchen to see a welcoming card, bread eggs and tea and coffee waiting for us..With a bunch of roses, yes roses.After a horrendous 6 hour journey this really put a huge smile on our faces. There isn't anything that Helen and Julian haven't thought of, a hot tub and a games room which the children loved. Helen and Julian have created a welcome folder which contains information both about the property and what you can find locally which is very helpful. We have been to Pembrokeshire before, the castles, marinas and beaches are a must.. our favourite places are wisemans bridge, Saundersfoot and Tendy (South beach). These are a 30 minute drive away and worth the visit for sure. We can't recommend this property enough, you won't be disappointed it's breathe taking!.

The accommodation was perfect for our family, very clean with thoughtful added extras and a excellent lay out for families. Julian and Helen have tried to think of everything to make it home from home. We would definitely use again and recommend to friends. There was a small park very close to the property that isn't mentioned in the information which was an added bonus having our two small grandchildren with us.

This - and I deliberately use the term - home from home - was a perfect hideout for a holiday :-).

Tucked in a small village and very private there was a resting place for any activity whether you wished to read or relax in the summerhouse, chill in the hot tub, eat in the garden or the conservatory, or the dining area, the spaces were all really lovely with great attention to detail. We already have fond memories of our time there and was a cosy place indeed. Many thanks to our hosts for caring about our experience. Second time we've used Sykes and will be back.

To say that the cottage exceeded expectations is an understatement - the place is absolutely gorgeous!

Every whim seems to have been thought of and catered for. The design touches are akin to a boutique hotel. From the extremely comfortable beds to the inviting hot tub, we loved it. The only negative for us is that we wished we had booked for longer! Highly recommended!

The availability of an nhs discount was also appreciated! The photos and description were accurate and helpful with regards to making a decision.
