Cheriton

The location of this property is beautiful and it has the potential to be a really lovely place to stay, but unfortunately it feels like it is in need of a lot of care and attention.

The parking situation was disappointing, as from the photos it appeared that there would be space for two cars, but this was not the case. The property itself also needs some TLC. During our stay we found ourselves wiping down cupboards, light switches and other areas before using them. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues that affected our stay. The shower door came off while we were there, there were mouldy chips left in the oven when we arrived, and the summer house could really benefit from a thorough clean. On our final night, while looking for my son’s toys, we removed the seat cushion cover and found a large amount of dog hair down the back of the seat. The living room seating was also not sufficient for the number of guests the property accommodates, meaning not everyone had somewhere comfortable to sit. It would also be helpful to have clearer information provided regarding recycling, bins and collection days, as this was not clear during our stay. It is a shame because the setting and location are fantastic, and with some proper cleaning, maintenance and care, this could be a wonderful place to stay. It just currently feels like it needs someone to give it the attention it deserves.

Great cottage, excellent location to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast.

House has loads of space, was immaculate and really helpful host with great communication. Easy to find and off street parking was a bonus. Best part about this cottage is the outside space, wow. The view across the Haven is absolutely second to none. Nice spot to sit out and watch the ships. We will certainly be coming back to Cheriton, thank you.

We have just returned from staying at Cheriton in Pembroke Dock and we were very pleased with the accommadation there were 6 of us and it never felt as though we were tripping over one another the bedrooms were big and there was plenty of space for our clothes plus we spent a few pleasant hours in the back garden overlooking the estuary.

The only down side was that it was a bit of a faf to find and it is at the top of a very steep narrow road and we had to drive right to the bottom to turn round to come back up as there was no turning places having said that i would go back there any time.
